I have Mi Max 1 with 2gb ram and 16gb rom.
I can hardly use gcam because of the lack of RAM memory. With 600-700mb free RAM, gcam works normally in HDR mode. As soon as the memory is full, and dropped at some 400-500mb, gcamera can not work in HDR mode.
That's why I need some rom that would have as much free RAM as possible.

if thats the issue always clear your recent apps!!
Use Linuage with micro Gapps and disable assistant & other bullshits you don't need nor use & there you have it.

I want to record video so long with my G3, but then about 30 min to record the cam automatically stop to record.
The problem is that the video is 4 GB and the filesystem (FAT32) of internal SD card not support file more than 4GB.
I thinked to resolve this problem with an external micro SD card with filesystem exFAT.
But when videofile is 4 GB, cam still stop to record.
What can I do to remove this "cap"?
Thank you very much and sorry for my bad english!
Use third party camera app like Snap camera, it allows you to capture longer videos.
Thank you! I will try Snap Camera from Play Store.
INTEX CLOUD SWIFT
A device having power of 4g, USB OTG support, Hd display etc in a very affordabl price of 8000rs.
Review by droid_god
Didnt found much flows in hardware or software. But a thing to mention is that the 2500 mAh battery runs 8 hours on 3g downloading.
Now starting the specifications.
1--> DISPLAY
A 720*1280 resolution display with soft navigation buttons inside scren display, leaving only 720*1182 resolution as maine diaplay.
Hd resolution with 320dpi ands the device in the range of medium pixel density devices.
LCD panels display with MIRA VISION software where you can control pre definednset of assets ofndisplay like brightness, contrast, sharpness, color temperature, color quantity, and dynamic contrast.
Touchpanel is multitouch supported upto 5 fingures.
****the device minimum brightness is a little too high for night use. I recommend using an app named "Dimley".
2--> BACK CAMERA
8MP camera with resolution of 3840*2160 (16:9 ratio) and 3264*2448 (4:3 ratio) and 2160:2160 (1:1 ratio)
Camcoder having 1920*1080 as 1080p
Single Led flashlight and auto focus. zero shutter lag click option is awsome
3--> FRONT CAMERA
5MP camer with resolution of 3072*1728 (16:9 ratio) and 2560*1920 (4:3 ratio) and 1728*1728 (1:1 ratio)
Camcoder having 720*480 as 480p
No flashlight in front but zero lag shutter click option avilable
####The camera app is having good options to control the jpeg quality like sharpness, contrast, brightness, hue etc.
****i recommend using camera mx app
4--> CONNECTIVITY
Having dual sim comfort made more comfortable with 4g emabled on both sim.
Both sim can run on 2g/3g/4g.
Micro sim slots.
Wifi/hotspot/wifi direct features avilable. HotKnow is a good frature for connecting teo intex cloud swift devices together.
GPS for navigtion. Useful on offline maps for navigtion between places.
USB OTG supported. Run harddisk, flash drives, usb periferals, gamepads etc qith the devices.
Bluetooth having internet sharing option is good.
5--> BATTERY
2500 mAh 3.7V removable battery is just barable with this device. The battery is not made to last a day, but can go at 6-8 hours for gamers and 20-25 hours on 2g moderate use amd 40-48 hours of no internet and moderate use with less screen wakeups.
Battery drains from 100% to 88% in 1:55 hours of playing Hd movie at full volume and lowest brightness.
Brothers in arms 3 drain approx 3-5% battery in one stage. While caatle defence drain 3-5% battery in 4-5 stages.
Music playback is good eminem 17 song album drin 8% battery.
****i do not recommend downloading any dattery defender or app like that. They simply run background and consumes.more battery.
6--> PERFORMENCE AND STORAGE
3gb RAM (2.8gb usable) is very fast. I never got a hang in my 2 and a half month use of the device havng more than 30 apps installed and 6 big games like gangster vagus and brother in arms 3 and mortal kombat x.
Quad core 1.3ghz cortex a53 processor gave the device wings and withbtht power you can play two games one at foreground while other at background.
MALI T720 gpu giving device graphics a peak performence and quality ballance. Thia gpu can take heavy loads of graphics without lags. I playes brother in arms 3 and gangster vagus and mortal kombat x at highest graphics without lag.
internal 16gb (11.5gb to 11.2gb usable) and an external support of 128gb. Have a single sd card slot.
Basically while on 3g use and all apps updating like whatsapp, facebook all gapps, twitter, 1.3 gb is free RAM sonyounjever face a hang problem.
****do not install any RAM booster they drain battery and kills system.apps sometimes creating trouble.in longrun.
7--> SENSORS
ACCELOMETER
PROXMITY SENSOR
LIGHT SENSOR
THERMAL SENSOR (for battery and other motherboard related hardwares)
8--> SPECIALS
Device is packed with amazing features like Smart Wake feature and Smart Wake feature and gesture control boosting devuce user interface to extremes level. MIRA VISION is a mind blowing feature to use.HotKnot is a feature like sony's NFC.
Lollipop 5.1 version used in this device allows uaer to move apps and huge game data to external sd card and save internal space WITHOUT ROITING.
After using device inthink intex will release a marshmellow update. But i dont know when.
Device have its oum sound enhansments for speaker, head phones and bluetooth.
These are the features packed in a very affordable android device. Now time to look at bugs and loops in devices.
1--> to download big apps from play store. You have to unmount your sd card first then download big apps from play store.after doing that mount your sd card and move app to sd card. Then after moving app , manually move data of that app to sd card.
2--> have many pre installed bloatwares. They cant be stotally removed.
3--> a low power battery for heavy users.
4--> camera have no special sensor like BSI, XMOR etc
5-->default gallery app is robust and did not refines images on zooming.
Hi,
I can´t record with my OnePlus 5T (4.7.6) lager files than ~3.8GB, (2,46 min).
Have you also this problem? I record in Cinema 4K und with the Lumio Cam (200Mbps) -- the same problem!
Is this a thermal issue or just a file size problem, programmed in OxygenOS???
Thanks
You mean recording in 4K I assume.
That is more or less a security measure, to prevent that the storage to fill up too quickly due to absurd amount of data being rendered and produced onto the storage AND to prevent overheating, which can harm your device if you're not careful. Typically all handheld phone devices I know have some kind of limit.
With that said, there were some mods which could deactivate the limit, I haven't seen one yet though. Your chance to make one

It's a limitation of fat32, you can't have larger files in de internal storage. Nowadays Android uses a different approach to access internal sd with sdcardfs but the lower layer of this is still fat32.

Anybody experiencing horrendous multitasking since upgrading to 10? I mean 9 was bad but man this one takes the cake. Reopening an app from recents is like launching it fresh from the app drawer. This is so goddamn bad.
YouTube videos routinely close in the background, Android auto obviously gets shut down by the absolute **** memory management and relaunches itself constantly, and my gesture navigation gets killed in the background leaving me no way to switch apps.
This phone functions like it has 1gb of ram. My old nexus 6 running 6.0 with 3gb of ram rips through multitasking so I'm suspecting it's just the software that's absolute ****.
For reference I've tested this on a completely bone stock image and now using all these placebo magisk add-ons and none seem to help.
Goddamn.
That's what I don't miss about the pixel 3xl. I still have the phone but after using the OnePlus 7pro it's hard to go back because the extra ram and ram management is just killing the pixel. I've had apps stay open for days with no effect on battery. Took me awhile to in unlearn my habit of closing all my apps in recents to play games and YouTube without one or both apps getting killed in the background. Memory management on all pixels is pure arse and from experience there's nothing you can do about it.
Not very severe in my opinion, I mean youtube, maps nav plus one or two games in background survives half a day. Also no difference since first ram problems(leaks in 9 vs vs )
But, yes ram is 4 gigs plus apps getting heavier and heavier plus android 10 and apps is not good ramwise(optimization required but who should do it ? IOS maybe ?).
Lets face it, 4 gigs is low for today standards and most develeopers do not care about ram requirements when most cost companies increasing their ram every day like no tommorow.
Example; I opened youtube, silent age, Hill climbing racing, whatsapp, chrome with 6 tabs and maps. All I got left 300 mb of Ram which means if I contine some will start shutting down.
And if I force close all of them only 800 mb of Ram will be available, And I am not using those facebook, twitter or instagram apps
hi how i cam remove this 6min limit on 8k record
gcam or eny other software can do this?
or at list a automatics app that record 6min several time ?
plz help me thx
help me plz
While I do not have a source for this information handy I can remember that a review was pointing out that the lenght/time for 8k recording is limited due to available RAM or rather due to UFS 3.1 limited write rate.
But we can calculate things by our own:
If I'm correct UFS 3.1 is able to write like 1 GBps (on paper).
In reality an avarage 8k video recording with this phone is consuming ~1GByte per minute (what is ~16Gbps). A huge difference when it comes to writing on UFS 3.1 storage.
So we have the RAM only. RAM is full in like 8 minutes for 8 GB (in theory). Practically we have like 6GB as RAM buffer available (2GB for system). So you've got your 6 minutes in total. There is no "hack" available. oO
I hope I did not miss a thing within my simple calculations. ;D
I also think that there was a limitation also on 4k video recording which was about 4GB of video.
So what can i do to record more than 10 min in 4k gcam can do that ?
You can't do anything as this is an Android limitation in the system itself. If you need to record longer use 1080p mode.
1080p has no detail .. is there any thing else i can use ?
maybe a 3rd party app that can handle it

It's a hardware limitation, no app will do it. The phone's storage can't write as fast as the 8K camera spits out the video so it gets temporarily stored in RAM until you reach the limit, then, when the camera stops recording, it gets transferred to storage.
Unless you find a way to "add more RAM" or make your phone's storage "as fast as RAM" which you can't, then you are stuck with either 6min of 8K (which the phone doesn't do 8K really, it's supersampled 6K) or buying a purpose-built actual 8K camera.
With zram i can use more ram from the ufs 3.1
You know that zRAM is not "real" RAM? It's UFS and its slower then RAM. Beside that UFS 3.1 has a small amount of Cache (SLC) to reach those write speeds mentioned. So that is basically a burst speed for a short period of time to reach the 1GBps. Nonetheless its much slower then "real" RAM.

Just compare their Bandwidth (theoretical values). 1450 MB/s vs. 6400 MT/s.
While I'm not a hardware guru esp. when it comes to phone hardware. I'm pretty sure that there are other limitations as well beside the capabilities of the memory.
I bet there are other issues too. E. g. heat management (-> cpu throttling) or the battery also (not only the heat but drain, long time durability also).
thx for your answer bro
so there is no way to get more
i wish this phone has a sound to end of video so i know when its over and start next Trak automatically

You could use the clock functionality and set the timer to like 5:30 just before you start filming. On the other hand there is a timer running on the left side of the camera. ^^
