Hii
So, I just got my new charger
The UCH12 wich should charge the phone faster
My model is the G3221 and the charging time
is the exact same as with the stock charger
I googled and not just this model.. There are almost
all models having trouble with fast charging
Read somewhere that this option only is for
Taiwanese phone models
Anyone got that problem too or got it solved??

Hii
Thanks for the answer but I could not unlock the bootloader so
I have sold the device becouse of that. So becouse of the bootloader
locked no modifications could be possible.
But thanks anyway
Just maybe to say, I have bought different device with fastcharging
option for quickcharge. I did not get fastcharger with the device
but this charger we are talking about supports also quickcharge
so I tried it on this device and lucky me..it Works on this device!!
Now I use that Sony charger for other device than Sony...

I am using an English model of the G3221 and I can confirm that my UCH-12 charger is fast charging, I believe it shaves off just over an hour of charging.
Stock charger UCH-20 takes upto 3 hours from 0-100 whereas the quick charger UCH-12 takes just under 2 I believe...
I'm afraid I can't give you any advice or help, but quick charging on my device definitely works that's for sure...

So i recently busted my default charger and started using one i bought, its not samsung brand, but lately i've been noticing that my battery dies quicker, does this seem look like normal battery life or is it possible that having a different type of charger is screwing with my battery? All i use my phone for is texting/phone calls. Thanks in advance
What are the power output on the charger? It seems that it drops really fast even during standby. The charger that came with the nexus is rated at 5v @ 1a.

Have you checked BetterBatteryStats? Looks like that phone is almost always awake, except during one period where the battery had less of a downslope. Also, it looks like even during the downslopes your phone is charging. Something doesn't seem right here, and I doubt it's your charger. It looks more like some application or other software is eating your battery for breakfast.
Yeah i also forgot to say, sometimes i'd look at my phone while in out and it would randomly say its charging. When its obviously not. The brand of the charger is called "On the go", no idea what kind of charge it delivers.

Are you on stock or have you tried flashing back to stock? If the problem continues even with a clean install of the stock software, it seems like the USB charging board might be messed up and may need replacing.

I've always wondered about this too. I seem to have a range of chargers that are micro USB that are 5v but < 1a. Is it safe to use these or not?
Yes i flashed it and am on a rooted version.

Alright i'll look into that, thanks guys
I'm Curious About This Too
I've been using the power block from my old Motorola OG Droid, with an output of 5.1V - 850mA, along with the usb cable that came with my old Palm Pre Plus (its nearly 52" long, almost 4 1/2ft!) andi have no idea what that's rated for. I seem to be doing fine as far as I can tell. It charges quickly on AC, nothing overheats.
But what are the consequences of using a power source with this kind of difference, if any? Consequences to using a power source with a greater difference?

Yes, the "a" (amperage) doesn't matter. It's just telling you how fast it can charge your phone, higher the amperage is, the faster it'll charge.
You can also determine how many watts the charger will consume by multiplying the Voltage by Amps. So if your charger was rated at 5v @ 1.5a, it will use about 7.5 watts. If it's less than 1a, like .6a, just put a decimal before the number.
Guys,
I have a N7100 and a N7105.
N7100 - From UK
N7105T - From Vodafone Australia.
The N7100 charges up really quick as in 30-40% in an hour but it seems my N7105 charges like its only 1amp. This morning I charged my phone from 7am @ 36% and now at 11:30am its only 88%.
I am using both the Samsung stock chargers which say 2a. What could be the issue?

Try swapping batteries and charge again to see if it is a battery problem.

Ok I'll test out swapping everything. Maybe the charger Could be faulty

The phone doesn't send 2a to battery.
Rather by default it sends 1700mah to battery and uses for it's own functions while charging.
Try to use current widget and check your input current.
If it is above 1600mah then it could be a battery fault.
Chances are you might have flashed a custom kernel that reduces this value.

ok well i installed current widget and my phone only takes in 1 amp.. would it be the stock AU vodafone rom doing this? Is there anyway to fix it? Why would they do that? I work for vodafone too so when I find them im going to ask why!
Also i tested multiple 2 amp chargers and actually a 750ma charger on my n7100 with no current issues and all of them showed 1698ma.. Why would the 750ma charger still drawer 1698 in the phone

I don't know but those kinda chargers actually charger faster.
The black cable the one that used to come with galaxy s charges my phone far more faster.

We all are waiting for Yureka("when 13 Jan will come....")
I digged about it chipset and it is indeed impressing(ain't it).
It feature one of the FIRST 64 bit cpu(seems to be upcoming future).
I went to official Qualcomm site and it says it features QuickCharge tech, now I wonder which we will be getting??
QuickCharge 1.0 or 2.0 .As I think it is launched in competition with the One+ one (some may disagree but I think so).
So maybe it will support 2.0,then we are getting more lucky.
one more thing regarding hardware,I should not worry about the OTG support right. It should be supported.
As for the software part,as we all know CM is the ruler in customs android,if we got Cm then we will be getting a line of custom roms a later on
One thing that can be and is speculated is build quality,we will see when it is in our hands, they should make a good device as it is a first device under a new Brand.
So guys leave your previous comments on its QuickCharge feature. What you think we will be getting??

Hey guys we have quick charge 2.0 In our Yu Yureka Phone ok .But We need 3amp charger like Motorola’s Turbo Charger and HTC Rapid Charger
Quick Charge 2.0 is built in to all of Qualcomm’s latest SoCs, meaning that most of us should be able to benefit from faster recharge speeds. However, can you expect such impressive sounding battery charge times in all situations

The battery may explode, get heated, reduced life. The battery in yureka is somewhat cheap one. I think something has to be done from software side also, like unlocking the QC.

max i have is 1.5A charger for sony z ultra, and yes it increases the speed, rest i dont know mate
my charging time is greatly reduced (about 1.30 hr)
I have used some custom kernel and adjusted the charging current level to 1.5 Amp
So quick charge 1.0 is happening
My phone is getting charged 30% in 30minutes and
70% in 60 minutes.
Note: I am using my old lumia charger 5v 1.3 Amps.

Hello !
I have a Z5 Premium DUAL sim (E6833), and i was wandering if it is Quick Charge compatible !
I once had a Z3+ DUAL and it was NOT Quick Charge compatible although the single sim version was, i heared that it was a software limitation from SONY, god knows why ...
So is it the same thing with the Z5 Premium DUAL ? Is it Quick Charge compatible or not ... ?
Hello
Yes it is compatible with qualcomm 2.0 quick charge standard
yap
I just started using my Z5P again. What's the quick charge time from 0-100%? Don't think mine is quick charging since it's over two hours to fully charge
Not sure if the following statement is due to me over-charging or perhaps the charger/cable but I bought Aukey Turbo Charger (PA-U28) couple of months back and after about a month of using it on my Z5 Premium, the battery bloated so far out that the back cover peeled off the phone. I went on eBay to purchase another battery and replaced it not long after that.

Hi pals,
I'm looking for a fast charger (default original one is not fast) for 3xl.
Actually how to select fast charger? What is the measure amps or watts?
And can xl can stand up to any fast charger or is it like it is only safe to use upto certain amps or so?
Thanks in advance
are you saying the OEM charger isn't fast? that'll put out as much as the pixel can handle, so no aftermarket charger will be any better. if you're just looking for a replacement, or maybe a multiport I've had very good luck with choetech products over the years. there are also the new gan chargers, which put out a ton of power from a small brick. they won't charge the pixel any faster, but if you have something like a laptop they can help

Just so you know from those screenshots the s20 charger is charging at a higher rate because the battery life is at a lower charge (28% vs 50% from the one using the stock picture). Have you actually timed a charge from each one from start to finish? The lower the battery is the faster it will charge. There was an article on here or maybe reddit about someone who researched the behavior of fast charge. I believe 40 or 50% is roughly where it starts cutting back on the charge rate.
adaptor S20 have dynamic tech, and by default pixel 3XL have 18W but the issue from some tech reviewer have hardware same like samsung S20 (25W)
so if you using adaptor s20 is better from original...
