I still have not received the update. Am I the only one? Is there any way to force the OTA?
Due to using as a work device, I can't root or unlock bootloader so unable to install manually.
The update should be out soon. This week or next. Just don't expect all the MIUI 9 features in the first update. Some might come later. Also there was a small MIUI 9 update last week, it really had not much in it so no loss there if you didn't receive it.
Another thing is that you can install a Dev (beta) version without unlocking bootloader. Just download it and use the updater on the phone to flash it. Beta version receives updates weekly. I'm sure you know that beta can be buggy sometimes. And you can also go back to stable without any problems using miflash, just google about it.

Thanks but I moved to beta just to check how it feels. It's looking good so far. Nothing is broken and works as expected. Tomorrow there should be a rather big update but I'll believe it when I see it. Hehe

Would be great if you could send me the site. Much appreciate your help.
I have received OTA update to MIUI9 yesterday
So it seems like it's really live OTA since about 10minutes.
Also updated on Miui Download site
Got the OTA last night as well. All working well although doesn't seem all that different from 8.5.

It appears the official Nougat update for the VZW S7/S7 Edge has been spotted out in the open.

I'm going to wait and see how it goes before accepting it. So far, checking for an update, I am still told that my MM phone is up-to-date, so it hasn't been pushed out to my IMEI range yet apparently.
Here's a couple more articles about it being released starting today, and probably to the beta testers first:

He said his Marshmallow phone is up to date, so he's not on the beta.
---------- Post added at 09:54 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:50 AM ----------
I wonder if this only works for people on the official Nougat beta and not just the users that updated via update.zip. I was the official Nougat beta tester that uploaded the update zips for you guys. I'm currently on the U-firmware, but I could flash back to Verizon and check if enough people are interested. Then I could pull the Official update.zip again, and upload that as well.

YES! That would be great, thank you. My concern is that we will be passed up on the official update because we took this Beta. Thanks!!
Their official update page shows the update as the most current release, and with today's date.
i dont see any confirmation anywhere that it was released, only that they updated the update page on the website. but at least is shows release is imminent.

No, I'm not. I don't do anything with my phone if it isn't official and I wasn't part of the beta program. I would assume even beta users should get an update, although it might be a tad bit different than those of us still on official Marshmallow. That or you might have to flash back to the official Marshmallow before you can get the update. I have seen that happen on other phones where I was a beta tester, so I'm not sure how it will work with the S7s.
From what I recall hearing, the official beta testers will be updated to the official Nougat first. The issue is that most of the people using the beta are not official beta testers. They updated using my zips. I'll flash to Verizon at some point today and see if there is a newer release.

I updated using your zips and I am currently pulling down an OTA after checking for system updates.
I have a SM-G930U flashed to the SM-G930V and am getting the Verizon Nougat update right now.
I updated to beta using the zip as well. Just got my OTA for official!
I am on the PKC update from these forums and get the notification of the update. Keep getting a download unsuccessful error. Not sure if it is because I am not on WiFi

I'm also on PKC, but I flashed it myself. I've tried both data and wifi; keeps saying Download Unsuccessful, error code: 400. Also unsuccessful after restarting and powering off.

EDIT: Wiping cache from Recovery solved my problem. Downloading now.
I got the beta here and am installing official nougat now. I have done a factory reset since flashing the beta. Perhaps doing a factory reset (but still remaining on beta) would clear you for the OTA? (Of course, back everything up before doing so.) I could also be totally wrong on resetting to get the OTA. Just a theory.
Updated to Nougat and so far, pretty darned good. No glaring issues. Only issue I have is in The Walking Dead: No Man's Land where all my player's portraits are dark as if no lighting was used. It wasn't this way under MM. I have noticed people with screen shots from the game with the same issue, so it might be an issue with the game itself.
UPDATE: The reason was the app cache. I just had to go to the TWD:NML app data and clear out the cache and all was good!

I have a 930U as well that I flashed to 930V. Does your Video Calling work? I activated Advanced Calling and HD Voice works but Video Calling does not. The option in my settings has the "HD Voice and Video Calling" option shaded out so I can't select it. I can only select "HD Voice only" so that's all that works. Do I need to call Verizon to try and fix this or is it a limitation from getting a 930U?
Could anyone confirm if you can enlarge others profile picture on LINE? I tried on the beta before and couldn't do it. Thanks in advance.
Can someone upload the OTA update to a mirror?
Is there anyway I can temporarily go back to Marshmallow on an unrooted stock Verizon GS7 edge? I did not anticipate that my encrypted SD Card would be mostly unreadable when updated to Nougat.
After choosing "Decrypt SD Card" in options, it runs a "Checking SD Card" loading screen. I left this for about 4 hours while I was busy, but it did not appear to make any progress when I returned. I will try again overnight.
However, after this I can use Solid Explorer to navigate to the SD Card, and see all my files, but cannot open them.
Thanks for any help even if that means telling me those files are unencryptable and I should just bite the bullet and reformat.
I got tired of hitting check for update and getting nothing. I used a VPN inside the usa on wifi and got the ota immediately.
I just now landed to this page and found official Marshmallow update for our oppo f1s
How to update?
*BACK UP YOUR DATA*
Just put the zip file in your sdcard and reboot to stock recovery and "apply update"
Warning : This update will factory reset your phone and wipe all data. I upgraded without backup and lost all my data!
Link to OTA:
http://downloads.oppo.com.s3.amazon.../A1601EX_11_OTA_001_all_201703281552_wipe.zip
The OTA is released for Australia but it worked on Indian and Phillipines phones. I have tested it on my phone.
EDIT: Seems there's a global version also http://downloads.oppo.com.s3.amazon...A1601EX_11_OTA_027_all_201701110933_local.zip
I haven't yet tested the global version.

The update zip doesn't contain stock recovery, which means if you flash the OTA via TWRP [by modifying updater-script] you can update to MM and re-root from twrp.
I haven't tried it because twrp is not working on my phone for some strange reason. Probably because I have 4GB version

Marshmallow suck oppo f1s , Not appearing notification on status bar , Internet isn't working well n it's slow ,
Can someone help me?
I have updated my F1s to marshmallow however, I am unable to get the latest monthly updates installed. I have tried downloading the latest update (A1601EX_11.A.38_20190328) and installing manually, however that results in an error and fails to update.
It seems the recent update is for the lollipop rom. I don't want to roll back to lollipop as I have seen major improvements to GPU performance and battery life since upgrading to marshmallow.
Is there a way to get the latest set of security patches for marshmallow?

Hi. Had to make an account to answer you lol.
For some reason, OPPO stopped supporting marshmallow on the countries it was implemented. Philippines, however, did not effected the idea and would say, if you ever ask them, that their team is working on it. It's just a bunch of rubbish, we both know they're too busy with their flagship phones. F1s has long been forgotten and the only latest marshmallow update you could find is here, I'm not sure though.
Hi, I bought an honor 7x in december, it came from China, and the sellers changed the software version from BND-AL10 to the one from Europe BND-L21, I had upgraded my phone once using firmware finder, but I´m a little nervous about doing the big upgrade, I don´t know if there will be any problem because of the version change.
Also, I haven´t recieved any official upgrade, I don´t if it´s because of that or because of my country (I live in Mexico), I´ll appreciate your help
I'm in the same boat. I was wondering if it would be better to flash the AL10 or L21 version of Oreo.
Worst case scenario, I can just choose to wipe the device and flash the AL10 version from scratch for Treble.
The upside, as I just recently found out, is that the bootloader comes unlocked already. It's pretty fortunate considering that they took down the website to unlock the bootloader.

Well, I used Firmware Finder to download the Oreo update and, to my surprise, it worked perfectly. I went straight from B101 to the newest version. After updating I formatted the device and installed phh's GSI, and it's working great.

Hi Ahmad, just curious. Where are you based and which if the 2 options did you consider to download the firmware and also did the checking firmware access mention it is not approved for your device or was it approved. Thanks for your feedback in advance.
My experience as mentioned by someone else in the forum was that it is not approved and hence even after downloading the files it didn't get installed.

I'm from Canada, and I chose the second-last option for 8.0 on the L21-C432 section of Firmware Finder. It said it was approved, although in the past when I tried updating even if it was approved it didn't work.
Thanks bro. Appreciate the prompt response. Guess I will just have to wait till my turn comes in India

So in theory, if I unroot then run OnePlus updater I should be able to get the update. Then reboot after. Correct?
Maybe I did something wrong, but I tried unrooting for the last OTA and still received the same error. I had to wait until the full version was on the OnePlus site, I think OnePlus updater grabs the zip from there too. It also took a month longer for the full zip to hit the OnePlus site.
Flash the stock boot.img and then try again. It should update. Just make sure you use the correct boot.img for the version your currently on
I have global unlocked varient and when I first received it I just flashed BA/EU on both slots(local upgrade twice) and I've been able to get all full zip updates(via system updates and/or O2 updater app) staying rooted the whole time. I'm in US on tmo, I'm wondering what could have been so beneficial some ppl want to stay on AA/glo builds.?
Initially I was getting that error. Then I ran the uninstall in Magisk and chose to RESTORE IMAGES. I then just hit retry on the OTA from the phone settings (NOT Oxygen Updater) and the update installed. Initially this did not for 11.2.3.3 as it would still give the error after unrooting by uninstalling Magisk, then it worked for 11.2.4.4 and 11.2.5.5. So YMMV. You can look here for my update process as I was having an issue post-OTA:
No cell service after update to 11.2.4.4AA while keeping root
I'll try to keep this short. Global OP9 Pro on 11.2.2.2AA, bootloader unlocked, rooted w/Magisk. Been trying to find the best way to update. Decided on trying this: 1. Un-rooting by going in to Magisk and doing UNINSTALL->RESTORE IMAGES 2...

Not knowing that the AA variant would have dog**** updates from the start, and already having restored my old phone's data and not wanting to go through setup and restore again.
Edit: The goal is also to eventually get on crDroid anyway so it's whatever. I'm not resetting until there's an official crDroid build out.
