Butterfly 3 on MetroPCS - HTC Butterfly 3

Anyone know if the Butterfly 3 will work with MetroPCS in the US? Over on another forum I was told that a phone labeled "International Version" on Amazon will work in the US as long as the frequencies match up with the carrier's. Is this true?
Thanks.

sorry for the long reply but you will only 2g speeds, I'm currently looking into activating the possible dormant radios on mine, will share results if successful right now mine is more M9 than butterfly

Will 3g work in europe for Sprint version?

I want to buy Sprint version over ebay and use it in Bosnia, I went through specs online for it, read tons of forum posts and it seem that 3G will work (2100/900) but I'm still note sure. Can anyone confirm me this from first hand experience or someone that is more into 3G and all that mess with frequency bands?
Thank you all for your help.

[Q] HTC One X (international) on Simple Mobile / T Mobile?

I plan on buying the International version of the HTC One X pretty soon, like next week ish and I was wanted to know if anyone here can help me decipher all these weird codes and what not. I plan on switching to Simple Mobile when I get the phone and I wanted to know if anyone can give me an estimate of the speeds I would get on it. Apparently Sim. Mob. and T Mobile are sister companies so I think they use the same bands but I'm not really sure. I have been scouring the internet for days and if someone could just give me a simple answer I'd greatly appreciate it. If it helps, I live in Houston TX and on their website it says "Only phones with 1700/2100 AWS band work on our 3G network." and they have approved the HTC One S for customer use but not the HTC One X so idk if they have the same specs in regards to bands and speed. Like I said any help would be greatly appreciated. Please and thank you.
I have no experience with simple mobile but given it appears to be a t-mobile MVNO I will tell you about my t-mobile (US) experience.
The HTC one X international is NOT a good idea on t-mobile. I use t-mobile when I come into the US. The short version is that on the international HTC One X on t-mo data is unlikely to work at all. Here are the problems.
1. Sim type. T-mobile uses/sells a type of sim that electrically will not allow it to work with the international HTC one X for data. Edge, 3G, anything. http://androidforums.com/htc-one-x-xl/533805-new-t-mobile-sim-issues-unlocked-htc-one-x.html
2. Bands. The international one X does not support the 1700 band. Period. You will not be able to do 3G unless t-mobile cuts over its bands which they have done in a few markets but not many. If you could find the old style sim (non gba) as mentioned in point 1 you would be able to do edge (2G) only. Maybe Simple Mobile has non-gba sims but I doubt it.
I have had the standard t-mobile sim in my one X as recently as last week and it supports voice and texting just fine. data is a no go.
I have NOT tried this but people say that straight talk (AT&T MVNO) works.

I've used my International One X on T-Moble, the last time I did it was on Saturday when I visited Buffalo, NY (I'm from Canada).
emoose made some good points but I'll add my experience to his comments:
1. The default sim they provide did NOT work for data. The store I went to found an older sim which was meant for a Lumina (SP??) phone and it worked. The CSR told me I was very lucky as they don't normally stock these sims.
2. I was able to use 3G as they had coverage at the mall I was at but the CSR told me not to expect it elsewhere.
For me this works out great as I visit the US once every few months and at $2/day it's a steal even if I only have Edge, slow data is better than no data. If I were living in the US or if I were to visit more often then perhaps a Galaxy Nexus would be a better choice as I believe it works on all US GSM carriers (Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just from what I understand from the specs).

Service Providers for Oneplus One

So I have done a lot of searching and even talked to some verizon reps, but I thought I would post this question on here.
Currently am a verizon subscriber on a Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and I am very very interested in the Oppo find 7. I have gotten 11 different answers from 10 different people on this about whether or not my 4g sim will work and also will the cdma work on the phone. One answer ive heard is it will work but would have to be added to by verizon to their database of IMEI numbers.
Anybody got anything on this? Would straight talk be ok to switch to?
TL;DR- will find 7 work on VZW, what should i switch to?
No. it won't work at all. Only T-Mobile and Att, or the MVNO's under them.
Basically, any GSM provider. The one to switch to is up to you, based on which one has the best service in your area.

There's a slight change that you might get LTE support on ONLY Band 17. (Assuming Verizon's 700 MHz block is B17 and not another band)
But you won't get any CDMA2000 support in any band (even if the device supports UMTS/GSM in those bands), and potentially you might be lacking other VZW LTE bands.
I would not recommend this device on Verizon or any of their MVNOs. Only AT&T, T-Mobile, and their MVNOs.

Unlocked T-Mobile G3 on Verizon?

Hey guys,
I couldn't find a thread here on XDA in regards to this, but I am wondering if my T-Mobile LG G3 that has been unlocked by T-Mobile will work on Verizon....at all? This is not a personal choice, but more like I keep being asked by many in regards to my ad on Craigslist if the phone will work. I have done some research on this and found that the G3's LTE antenna can utilize a few select bands of Verizon's LTE, so data and MMS are my last worry. My main concern is voice and texting. COnsidering those are separate antennae, what should I know in order to inform possible buyers? I obviously do not want to be falsifying information in any way (literally against my morals; I was screwed over twice with smartphones and CL).
Again, what should I know. I seem to be finding myself using gsmarena.com to compare the Verizon G3 and T-Mobile G3 LTE band support.
Any help will amazing so I can get this phone sold! Thanks all!! :good:
According to willmyphonework the LTE will work fine but if they ever go anywhere without LTE, they will not have service at all. The CDMA part of verizon isn't compatible with the GSM edge capabilities of the T-Mobile g3.

Korean note 4 on at&t in usa

Hello all and thanks for taking the time to read my post. I know it's probably something that has been addressed here but today is my first day on the forum so I thought I would just ask.
I have a korean note 4 and I want it to work on my at&t network in the usa. I got everything to work except for 4g. Any idea if there's a way to get the 4g to work or should I just give up? It's the 8 core model.
From what I understand Korea and the USA use different frequencies, and different technologies for 4g. I don't think this is possible. Should be automatic.
You could see if you could try different network settings:
Dial *#*#4636#*#*
