tutorial flashing rom? - LeEco Le Pro3 Guides, News, & Discussion

Hi,
Back in around 2009-2010 I did weekly tweaks on my Xperia Ray. But they had very good tutorials for it on this forum... I can't find any for the x722 ? I ordered one, it's on route. Trying to read up before "modding" the rom.

[Q] Which ROM do you advise me to install ?

Hi
Should I install
this ROM
{PLAY}[DEVELOPMENT] - CM9.0 - FXP103b FreeXperia Project
or
this ROM
[rom][AOSP] ICX Beta 2-test 2 [ICS] [4.0.3]
And why ?
Are both prepared for daily usage?
Icx has no camera and data.
It is still in beta.

I doubt you read those threads, at all.
I'd advice you to stay with stock.
You should definitly read those posts carefully. When asking these questions, and if u have already read the posts carefully, Please include your phone model,FW version, kernal, and build. It helps others help you. For one, You will have to have an unlocked BL, WHICH is dangerous if you don't know what SAFE mods you can perform. So, be sure to make backups of everything before flashing anything. Consider downloading a Stock Rom for your device in case you need to start completely over.
Here is a link to a post with a list of stock FTF(flash tool firmware) and roms and many other stuff. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1294129
Good Luck and Remember, You are responsible for what you do with your device.

There is a section called Xperia S development available. Go there you would find all the Custom ROMs are lined up. Search and read ROM descriptions and reviews from other users in respective ROM threads. You will get your answer.
And for Stock ROMs, there is a thread called Firmware compilation and it is in the General Section. It should be in the first page of that section. So go there and you will find all the Stock ROMs.

1. try to use the search function, its very easy to use. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1599303
2. try using the xzx2, by the way, custom rom is very relative, it depends upon your taste and preferences. i think all custom roms is battery friendly (correct me on this). just try to read about the custom roms you are aiming for. read about the comments and feedbacks by users who flashed it. it can help you a lot.

Miui ( xperia s )

Seeking for the excellent ROM for my Xperia S I found MIUI rom on the internet and decided to try it, and I almost fell in love with MIUI, but the thing is that the MIUI version is 3.2.22 and it is some kind of old version, on MIUI official website they support only Arc S, and I'm a bit disappointed that I couldn't find my phone, is MIUI dead for Xperia S or what?
Think THIS is what you looking for. And it is updated version. And if you want find ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries & Guides for XS, HERE is your friend.
Well, big thanks for quick and effective response! Good luck

[Q] Best Custom ROM for Xperia S

I am disappointed by sony's delayed Jelly Bean upgrade.
Also my phone has almost completed a year. So I am willing to install a good Custom mode.
Please suggest me one with the maximum compatibility, (minimum bugs).
Also suggest step-by-step guide. I am doing it first time you see.
Also can I revert back to official release by flashing my device? Provide some info. on that too.
I hope someone can fix the camera and hdmi lagg bug.

There are so many posts with similar topics, I need a step-by-step guide for Installing a stable/most popular mod.
Is is Android 4.2.2 with cyanogen 10.1?
I read that several thing are not working. (like fm etc.. ) in that.
If you have a locked bootloader you can only flash stock based Custom Roms. On the other hand an unlocked bootloader does widen your choices (like CM,PAC,AOKP,etc) but as Pannekoek28 said it does increases the chances of bricking your phone.
IT'S AGAINST THE FORUM POLICY TO POST QUESTIONS LIKE WHICH ROM OR KERNEL IS THE BEST, SO YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE DEVELOPMENT SECTION AND FIND OUT YOURSELF AND ALSO YOU HAVE POSTED YOUR QUESTION IN THE WRONG SECTION.

Wrong section, should have been Q&A. And if you'd have done research you wouldn't have to ask this kind of questions.
THREAD CLOSED.

ROM ICS SLIM capacity for arc s

I need to find one rom cook slightly less capacity for arc s:angel: ics :good:
please please tell me know rom ics:angel::victory:
up:highfive:
Bumping your topic won't speed up the process of getting answers.
Best solution is to browse around in the Development section, read the changelogs, features, user reviews etc.

If you want to try ICS i will suggest you to use ultimate hd rom but ics is not good firmware. You can try latest 4.2.2 roms. those are stable now.
