dead phone, this case begin when my battery drained so fast several times, charge until full then try to turn on but still doesn't on.
but when connected to PC usb its on in download mode only, not in normal
how to repair it? its hardware problem ? can repair with flashing or how? advice please....
can instal RUU with locked bootloader and no TWRP ?

Good day to all
Yesterday i get a bricked desire, that was only loading to bootloader. It is CID locked and not rooted. So i decided after some googling to find a suitable RUU, but i tryed aroud 15 and no luck. Flashing stops at radio upgrade and wont move. Now the phone is in a diferent state. It starts in a black screen with HTC sign and danger signs in corner. It still react on flashing, but now i cant do anything else. It just dont want to flash the radio. I found many advices and manuals, but they are for rooted and CID unlocked devices. So my question is... What now???

Hi guys I had this problem yesterday and I managed to bring back to normal just reinstall the stock hboot after you instal stock hboot restart the phone and install RUU_Bravo_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.29.405.5_Radio_32.49.00. 32U_5.11.05.27_release_159811_signed 100% worked for me and others

Original there where HBOOT 0.8.0001, but when i flashed RUU_Bravo_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.29.405.5_Radio_32.49.00. 32U_5.11.05.27_release_159811_signed, during flashing phone 5x vibrate and stopped on 35%. He upgraded HBOOT to 0.93.0001 and now on start is this black screen.
did you tried what ive sayd up ???
How can i install stock HBOOT in this state? The normal stock ROM wont flash.

As i said in my very first post... It freezes when he flash radio at 35%. And the question is... what now.
you can try to flash a recovery with android flasher and then instal a costum rom
Device is not rooted and not CID unlocked.
Any new ideas?
Would be nice to get some new hint i am nearly at end of possibilities.
why you tried to use ruu when you are on stock rom with branded device?
and did you bricked your device before flashing ruu.exe or after flashed it?
hey you can create a goldcard if your phone is recognised in fastboot in pc..
that will solve all your problems.
PHONE IS ALIVE Refridgerator trick worked. But still its overheating. Radio upgrade will be enough or its really damaged?

Good afternoon, I can not write English well. I have a desire htc hd. The phone is unlocked to all mobile networks . Contains the android original operating sytem . I have a big problem. The phone does not connect ... Every time I turn, there is always the image of the HTC screen and is thus blocked. To turn it off I have to take the battery out. I can plug into the usb hboot by combining power + vol -. In HBOOT menu if I click on factory reset it also blocks the image of htc. Is there a way to send new rom to the phone through this menu? how? someone help?

Alright.
I see the phone is still stock so couple of questions so we can establish what's going on?
1. When is the last time phone worked and what exactly made it not turn on?
2. Have you at any point tried to root using any tool or tutorial?
3. Have you tried to unlock bootloader using HTC Bootloader?
The phone does not connect ... Stabilizer on the image of htc ... I found the original rom it. rebooting when going to the bootloader ... is ... image of htc not give out ... and the message appears in the RUU bootloader waiting .... and then the 171 error ... I have to take the battery to off the htc ... I do not know how to get out of here ... never unlocked bootloader to help me ...

Hi! I know this is a well known problem and I try to read as many related topic i could find but I'm still stuck... Here's the situation:
I have a HTC Desire Bravo (european version i guess, I bought it here in Italy around 2 years ago), with definetely some overheating problems. I haven't use this phone in a long time, yesterday I turn it on and it start loading the Cyano 7 that was already install on the device. It freeze at the animation boot. After that first time it never worked again. Stuck with htc logo if I turn it on, sometimes does the 7 vibrate thing (which I come to the conclusion it's 'cause is overheating A LOT), sometimes it stuck on a reboot<-->htc logo loop untill I remove the battery.
I just want to make it run again, and maybe i'll send it to htc for the overheating, but first I need to bring it back to stock. Here's what I try:
- i flash the bravo downgrade by alpharev to bring the original partition table
- i flash a recovery, won't start (stuck with htc logo ec..ec...)
- I try the RUU, but it won't recognize the phone in hboot
- I try the pb99img method... it doesn't get recognize from the bootloader
So I am stuck with the Device in fastboot, can't get a recovery work so I can't flash any rom or ruu. If it helps, here's the hboot screen

Thanks for the quick response! But how exactly am I going to do that? The PC just won't recognize the phone plug in in HBOOT, so the ruu installer fail and says he can't find the phone (ERROR 170).
Maybe i have a wrong version of hboot?
OMG i made it work!! I put it in a plastic bag in the freezer for 20min and now i'm in recovery!!! I can't believe it really work:laugh:
I did some wipe and try to install the stock rom, just to make it work, but it's stuck on "Veryfying update package", and the progress bar won't go on. Mainboard it's already burning, at least now I know it has some hardware issues.
I'm gonna try downgrade it back to factory (s-on, unroot, all original ecc..) and send it back to HTC. Do you know if the warranty is still valid considering I bought it in november 2010 and i still have the receive ?
Warranty should be 2 years from the moment you bought it.

?? Did u even read the post above urs?
If ur s-on, Not rooted and ur phone is bootlooping or stuck at splash screen then the only option is, Posted above or the "exact" ruu for ur phone.

Hello so i had problem with imai code so i decided to instal stock room (not shure which one was before) but after that pohone stucked in bootloop (after logo just shuted down) so i then i ried other versions and tut whic i could find but no results now i am using bach file to charge it to level when i can unlock it again
I am on S-ON cid vodap001 realy need help.
Unlock, flash a custom recovery. Then determine the rom you need with the command :
Fastboot getvar version-main
Restore the appropriate nand backup with a full wipe prior to it and flash the boot.img from the nand.

version is version-main: 2.17.161.2 cant find any room.I managed to unlock it , i will try to install cyanogen mod since i dont have nand backup so i cant restore.and btw before that phone worked fine only thing was that i couldnt update it there was no imei code and stuf and even then i culd get into recovery and i started as newbie (i didnt know what exactyle i was doing...) but no i have litle knowledge but still i cant get tit back to life.
Btw i have second htc one x with 64gb on it and cant even tur that one on (charger shows red flashingg indictaor
)

your hboot is to low to flash the latest roms (its 1.12) you can install all ICS roms but not newer ones. You need to update the hboot first. go to the general section en look for the collection of stock backups thread and find the nand backup that matches your main.

and your main 2.17 ??? thats very odd ! it should be in line of 4.18 or 4.19 !

I am able to get in black screen whith silver htc logo but it stays tehere with no response.
Onther htc just stays dead but it worked before(stuck in logo screen atleast had some life in it (i hope its just dead.))

STOP flashing ANYTHING from here !!! you do NOT have the HTC one X international ..... you have the HTC one X+ !!!!!
and you have to read better, the link you posted in your last post is for the HTC ONE M8 not the HTC one X and not the HTC one X+ ! pay attention please.......
Go tot the HTC ONE X+ forum and stay in there, do not go to another forum section !!!
