Hi guys, i'm using for at least one year the ResurrectionRemix-M-v5.7.4. Lately it has some problems like lag, so I'm thinking of switching to a more recent ROM with a good performance, stability and battery life. Some advice? Thank you....

I'm currently using the lineage os 14.1 ROM on my N5100. It's working fine. Together with stylus beta even the use of the stylus works very well in all relevant apps.

Hello folks! I'm a happy owner of a HTC one x with ViperRom Sense 5, android 4.2.2 - the system is perfect, stable, battery friendly and many other good stuff.
So, I had a Galaxy Nexus two years ago, but I was stolen :crying: and I loved the pure android experience..
I know, for HTC One X, there are many "pure" android available, like AOKP, AOSP, CM and other in Android original development.. However I almost tried all Rom's, and the closer rom to Nexus experience is XenonHD and CM, but both of them have low volume and dark pictures
Is there some suggestion from you guys? How can I have a similar Nexus Experience..? With good volume and good picture quality?
Thanks in advance!
Regards from BRazil
All are having that problem therefore use sense roms to get good volume and good camera quality because aosp etc can't use the imagesense chip inside

V4A is really easy to install you have to choose the cortex neon driver or so ...I think in both apps it's the last option in install drivers

Hey there, I'm currently running the Cataclysm ROM on my Galaxy Nexus, and I'm super happy with it. But I was thinking of moving to CM 11 (not sure if official or unofficial).
How is it in terms of stability, bugs, speed, battery life, etc, compared to 4.3?
The 4.4.2 cm11 rom its very stable now, i recomend you to upgrade to KitKat now, works fine and fast, and so beauty
Sorry my english

CM11 with ART is fantastic, but you'll have to make up your own mind on battery life.

What do you mean? Is battery life worse on 4.4?
I highly recommend PlayfulGod's unofficial CM11 build. Battery life is great (almost 3 hours screen on time with undervolt and mpokang kernel) and it is stable enough to use as a daily driver. It has made my Galaxy Nexus faster than ever

I'm curious about this too. I just flashed 4.4 Slimkat and battery life seemed to be worse, but I thought it was because I was playing more with it.

You pretty much nailed it on the head. The more you do the worse battery is. Its that simple. Battery life isnt the same for everyone since everyone uses their phones differently.
imho Android 4.4 is the best update since 4.0.
The new RAM management is awesome and makes my GNexus run like on the first day
CM11 is pretty stable, too.
It's too bad that many developers leaving the GNexus and move on, because I'm still missing some features (like HOLO, Active Display, ...)
And it's a shame that Google isn't updating the stock rom, because like I said, the GNexus is running way better with 4.4 than it was with 4.3.
I made a change to 4.4.2 CM11 and it is really awesome! Transition is very simple compared to HTC Sensation. It works great !
Hello everyone,
I hope I'm in the correct section being my question modding-related. I couldn't post in the original thread (still have to reach the 10 message limit) so I had to post here
I'm running AICP rom 3.0 RC1 and I'm experiencing an odd battery drain. Nothing too bad, but looking at battery stats I get Android System and Android OS on the first two places. Plus, if I leave screen on the battery get down much much faster than sense roms. Now, in the ROM thread there are people experiencing some drain too, but is that normal to have "Android OS" and "Android System" always in the first places?
I don't think I've ever got anything similar in my battery stats with the other roms I've tried
It's normal and already known a long time that on aosp/cm for the most ppl the battery life is not as good as with sense

Yes I know that but I get android os in the first spot on the list... That's what's worrying me

Try another kernel
Gesendet von meinem HTC One X mit Tapatalk
Ok now I have deactivated active display and wiped dalvik. Battery life improved but android os is still at first spot. If changing kernel helps then guess it's time to read some guides about ramdisk repacking and other stuff I'll have to do thanks to HTC's s-on. BTW what kernel for aosp 4.3 roms gives the best c compromise between battery life and gaming performance?

Try out yourself ...

Well, i have to agree with One-X-master, you have got to try your own combo. I had high battery drain on my AICP install as well, but it settled with time (3-5 days) itself.
Cheers,
Hello guys, i'm kinda new to the ROMs world and i'd really like to know:
What's your Zenfone 2 (551ML) configuration?
I've been trying some ROMs lately and i can't really pick one..
They all feel so similar
These are the ROMs i tried:
Resurrection Remix-MM 5.6.4
Bliss v6.0
XOSP 4.2
Did any of you tried this ROMs? And what's the best one in your opinion?
It would be cool if you would ask describing your ROM and possibily kernel versions and experiences with this awesome device!
I'm currently using XOSP 4.2, does crashes sometimes while i play Summoners War and i really miss doubletapping the homescreen to lock the phone. But apart from that everything is awesome
Im using Beanstalk 6.0.1. with @Niropa Kernel. No issues uptil now. Stable for me.
I'm using EchoeZen rom. Very good for stability and ZenUI ?

Planning to switch on that. Got greedy for marshmallow, but for stability, stock is the best option

Currently on stock 1450 build, experiencing occasional freezes and low battery life. So can anyone suggest me a stable ROM with least bugs (MM or N).

Same build as you, no freezes and decent battery life here. Maybe you should investigate some of the apps you have installed ?

Yeah, just uninstalled xposed. Will report back if the issue persists. By the way are there any stable ROMs for ether?

You should read on the latest pages of the ROM threads.
I mean omni looks pretty cool. Thinking about switching over this weekend
Your issues might not be ROM related, there are a lot of app issues and inter-app compatibility issues that will cause those symptoms. I would say to Backup and Factory Reset, then load your apps one-at-a-time until you have the lockups/freezing.

Seems like PA is the most stable right now with 6.0.3. Or you could apply for the beta build of Nougat

There's Dirty Unicorns 6.0.1. Stable
I used CyanogenMod from the day I got my Robin then its Lineage OS continuation until a couple weeks ago. Both performance and battery life are way better on Omni.
Stock nougat is available now I think fairly stable I'm running it but seems to be a bit of lag
