Hello folks! I'm a happy owner of a HTC one x with ViperRom Sense 5, android 4.2.2 - the system is perfect, stable, battery friendly and many other good stuff.
So, I had a Galaxy Nexus two years ago, but I was stolen :crying: and I loved the pure android experience..
I know, for HTC One X, there are many "pure" android available, like AOKP, AOSP, CM and other in Android original development.. However I almost tried all Rom's, and the closer rom to Nexus experience is XenonHD and CM, but both of them have low volume and dark pictures
Is there some suggestion from you guys? How can I have a similar Nexus Experience..? With good volume and good picture quality?
Thanks in advance!
Regards from BRazil
All are having that problem therefore use sense roms to get good volume and good camera quality because aosp etc can't use the imagesense chip inside

V4A is really easy to install you have to choose the cortex neon driver or so ...I think in both apps it's the last option in install drivers

I think I'm gonna release Marvellous CM10 for marvelc soon. May I ask you which cm10(-based) ROM is the most stable one?

I think this is the ONLY CM10 I can find for MarvelC:

And have you tested this ROM, is it recommendable?

I have tested it. It's a good one to use if you want a smooth version. It doesn't have any errors as far as I can find.

For what its worth (and please note - I am a complete noob) I truly loved this CM10 rom for Marvel C. The only reason I switched from it to another rom was the non-working GPS issue - and at the time I needed a dependable and working GPS. I used it as my every day rom and really, really liked it a lot.
If you would tinker with it and make it even better - I'm willing to play with it.
Thank you

Use the cm10 ROM I posted. All jellybean roms are ported using that ROM

Marvellous CM10 for marvelc
Coming from PAC ROM and a critical issue of the notifications drawer repeatedly crashing and me bringing it up with the developer repeatedly, but to no avail (or response), I have decided to finally migrate to another ROM. I'm primarily looking for these features:
Hybrid settings (Phablet UI)
Halo
Dark toggle
Preferably Linaro built
Is there an alternate ROM that could satisfy my needs?
Oh man nice question.
I recommend paranoid android 3.67 or domination ROM . I tried some other ROMs but these two are my favourites. Domination is a mix between pa, aopk,cm . you have a lot of costumization on board.
PA is quite fast with the latest fancy kernel r35. It is amazing how fast a gnex can be.

Thanks but PA lacks a dark toggle. Does domination have that?
EDIT: Both domination and uxylon satisfy my requirements, so I'll be testing them both. Thanks again!

I bought the unit HOX now
So far I have used Samsung device (CM, AOKP, PAC) rom ... I really like these.
Unfortunately, there are many posts on the board, so I can not decide.
Help me which is the best rom! (AOSP, CM, AOKP, Pacman, other rom)
4.3 is not important, only interested in stable and good!
Thank you very much!
Only you can decide which is best for you...try out and see....

Thank you for your response
Plus I do not want to run around in circles?
I just wanted to know which one is better
There is as Pac Man is multi-threaded, and unfortunately I can not navigate .. : (
It would be good if they get something effective response ...
AOPK like best, and Pacman ...
To me it would be a good user who uses on a daily basis ..
thank you
Cm is close to pure android and aokp/aosp and aospa are having many tweaks or options to change for example many colours etc...but just look at the screenshots and then choose one....really no one can say which is best it depend on your personal usage ...like if you want to have many options take aospa etc or if you want as close as pure android or so

All users have different experiences with custom roms, hence the rule about no comparisons. Honestly, just try each one for a few days to find out.

I know the properties of each rom.
Okay thank you ..
I think I'll try this first:IceColdJelly422 - 3.8 - JellyBean 4.2.2_r1.2
AOKP is because there are multiple threads.
Then try out the Rom which fits your needs etc !!.... No one can say...oh lol this is the best...or this...it depends on what YOU want...and not what others need and want! :banghead: :sly:

You are not allowed to ask that type of question, as @sinkster said, there is a rule about posting comparison threads. do what people have told you and try them yourself, it is the best way

I like sense 4 based roms over sense 5 as they seem to give better battery life.
I've just installed miui which I'm really liking.

I like the stock experience as it is very close to what google releases.
But yeah custom are better for optimization though I don't see much in terms of battery life.

Probably the best rom is Venon ViperX :good::fingers-crossed:
But I am also very satisfied with CM
Hello, as i'm "new" here, i would like to know your settings to have the best battery life.
Thanks
PS : tell me the rom you're currently using
Try yourself xD ...each phone is not the same

No need for a thread for this. There should be enough information in Kernel thread. Then there are so many different factors weighing in that trying yourself would be the best solution.
Hello everyone,
I hope I'm in the correct section being my question modding-related. I couldn't post in the original thread (still have to reach the 10 message limit) so I had to post here
I'm running AICP rom 3.0 RC1 and I'm experiencing an odd battery drain. Nothing too bad, but looking at battery stats I get Android System and Android OS on the first two places. Plus, if I leave screen on the battery get down much much faster than sense roms. Now, in the ROM thread there are people experiencing some drain too, but is that normal to have "Android OS" and "Android System" always in the first places?
I don't think I've ever got anything similar in my battery stats with the other roms I've tried
It's normal and already known a long time that on aosp/cm for the most ppl the battery life is not as good as with sense
Gesendet von meinem HTC One X mit Tapatalk
Yes I know that but I get android os in the first spot on the list... That's what's worrying me
Inviato dal mio EndeavorU utilizzando Tapatalk
Try another kernel
Gesendet von meinem HTC One X mit Tapatalk
Ok now I have deactivated active display and wiped dalvik. Battery life improved but android os is still at first spot. If changing kernel helps then guess it's time to read some guides about ramdisk repacking and other stuff I'll have to do thanks to HTC's s-on. BTW what kernel for aosp 4.3 roms gives the best c compromise between battery life and gaming performance?
Inviato dal mio EndeavorU utilizzando Tapatalk
Try out yourself ...
Gesendet von meinem HTC One X mit Tapatalk
Well, i have to agree with One-X-master, you have got to try your own combo. I had high battery drain on my AICP install as well, but it settled with time (3-5 days) itself.
Cheers,
