Hi,
I have some little issues with my CyanogenMod 10 on my One X.
When I am watching a YouTube video and changing the volume it crashes.
After a reboot my keyboard setting return to stock.
What can I do with this? All help is welcome!

Update the youtube app. Or flash the Youtube app from here:-

Not helping, it won't install due to a same app with the same signature
And how can I fix the settings being reset everytime after a while? Really annoying

Uninstall the app using root explorer or titanium back up and install the version i linked you.

Still not working, now it just says App not installed without any reason....
Fixed Youtube, deleted it via Play Store and reinstalled it, seems to work fine now But the keyboard settings are still changing to standard.. Guess i'll have to wait for a new CM 10 build
The keyboard issue is related to Google Play - it's nothing to do with CM
Works great so far for me. It didn't have YouTube originally installed so I used that YouTube apk and it works fine none of the crashes you received.
There is one big issue for me though; MX Player can no longer play the avi files I have. Vplayer works but is more sluggish than MX.
MX Player worked great on original sense ROM.
For the record I am using tbaldens cm10 prenightly ROM.

At this moment I have CM10-20120916-UNOFFICIAL-endeavoru and I have no problem except the Keyboard Settings issue, never played an .avi movie on my phone, but MP4 works great when I want to play them. With the same media player

All known bugs and all has been answered before.
Anyway, have a look >> HERE , and >> HERE, I'm collecting the bugs and workarounds.
If Youtube doesn't work after deleting the apk and replacing it with the working one, just reboot.
And the keyboard not sticking you can fix with these tips too.

No you don't have to wait for a new build. Just back the keyboard up using titanium, uninstall it, and then restore the backup.
That will fix your issue.
I do not understand why it's so hard for some people to read.

Hi everyone, can someone tell me witch devil kernel I should use with my i317M on Skynote 4.3 rom. I'm asking because there is Devil2-1.0.7 t0lte DUAL and the other one is Devil t0lte SAMSUNG 4.3 1.09.
The second one seem newer but when you look at the date at the end, he is the older one...

1.07 was the newest version up until a few minutes ago: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47600786&postcount=2619
Can confirm that the 1.07 was working without any issues - going to flash the newest one now.

Seems to work good, however I can't get LTE to stick, whenever I switch to LTE network dosnt register and retry, and retry etc.
Less the LTE it stays connected.

I'm on Bell and there's no separate APN for LTE (afaik). I fiddled with it a bit to try to force it but can't get it off of 4g. That being said, the connection in my apartment has always been sketchy and now I can't remember if I usually would get LTE.

Finally I gave a try to the 1.0.7 and I had an issue with my bluetooth connection. When I'm listening music with my bluetooth headphone and my screen is off, my music play like if I'm far away from my phone but it's still in my pocket and second, my phone freeze and screen no more opening.
Finally I came back to 1.0.4 and I have no problem for the moment...

well, im on the 317, not 317m and i heard that a lot of users are using his 1.2.1 kernel with little to no problems. i personally use this one as well. i have zero issues so far on skynote 4.3

I don't, because actually I'm not really using USSD code. I'll try one and tell you back.
Edit -> I tried one and had no problem... maybe something in your phone...

I am on version 1.0.15 of the devil kernel, on 4.3 note 3 version 9. This is when I try to access the status page in settings/about.

I have had the same issues flashing devil kernel but every major system apps f/c for me.

Hi,
can someone tell me if this works? Kodi with the newest firmware and Android 7.0?
Kodi v16 and v17 work fine.
Kodi is working perfectly fine as is every app i've tried come to think of it, I think it's only Xposed which has been having issues, which in all fairness has been quite good if i'm honest.

Android 7.0, yes.
I'm also using Viper10 4.4.0 with no issues.

Only on cm. The speakers are the issue even getting them to work was a problem.. It was designed for a different phone, different hardware, so essentially a port, at least that's my understanding of it.
Reckon the 10 is loud enough tbh

I have V4A working on my 10 on Viper Nougat ROM and Nougat firmware. I used the zip and procedure here : http://www.theandroidsoul.com/install-viper4android-nougat/

It was designed to be universal. And it makes a huge difference when used on the 10. Not just for the speakers but for the audio gain when using Bluetooth in my car mixed with viper clarity and the equilizer, make stock sound like garbage.

Might have to take a look into it, do you remember Acidmod, had it on the Galaxy S3, that was incredible, phone was ridiculously loud and clear with that on, haven't tried V4A yet, i think i did once but the driver failed, will give it another whirl?

I have the 15.2 starts but it can not connect then.
Is the problem nougat? I tested with a other rom, the same problem 🤕
I am having this weird issue in my Pixel XL with the windows RDP app. I am on latest version of Android O beta. The app works fine on all my other Android device I had attached a screen shot.
you're not alone, the RDP app was working fine for me on ODP3 and after seeing this post I checked it again and I have the same issue.
Phone: ODP4, unrooted
Computer: Win10 x64 Enterprise (if it matters)

I have tried both the regular one and the beta version. But I'll try it again the was sometime last week. Will report back if it works.
Edit: Beta version of the RDP app did fix the issue! Thank you. It's funny it didn't work when I tried it last week they must have just fixed it.

the beta says it was updated on July 28th, hopefully they fixed your issue.

i get this problem recently and its drivin me crazy.. i switched off battery optimization und wi-fi is set to stay alive all the time!
Is there anyone facing the same issue? Maybe it came with the new spotify update? Any workaround suggestions? I'm not rooted and on Nougat...
Would be super thankful for any advice!

I am in AOSIP rom. same problem
I change to deezer and it works fine. I think the problem is in spotify
