This is yet another awesome case from pyroskins guys. I like it better than the popular clip case. Which I never thought would happen. Build quality is excellent. Usability is great. It feels really strong and durable. Check out the video....

lol. yeah greg is an awesome guy. he's all about the customer service. probably the best I've seen yet. i love when I find companies like this. fast shipping, all questions are answered in no time, and always willing to make the customer happy. its a great company to deal with bro.

+1 to that, when they ran out of the clip case and were waiting to get new ones in, he made sure mine got shipped asap so I could receive it before I left the country. Looks like I've got another case to purchase lol.

If you read this, i have a question for you. What are the chances of you having any say in the design process of these cases? I would love to get a hybrid clip/360 version that doesn't need that elastic band to stay closed. I am gonna get the new one anyways, but I was just wondering.

Just ordered . 2 - 5 weeks ahaha luckily I'm not in a rush for it.

I got this case before going to europe. Its been 2 weeks so far and its been pretty good. The only issue i have is that the groove farthest from the binding doesnt hold the tab up. My tab always falls down immediatley even on a flat even surface.

The groove closest to the binding works for landscape and portrait modes. It happens to be the groove i want to use most of the time so it is acceptable to me

Pyro ships fast! I ordered the 360 case last Monday by personal check and in today's (sat) mail was the case. Been playing around with it and I must say that it is a solid case. I researched for a long time and Tasks video review convinced me. I bought the tab for its slim design and weight compared to other tegra 2 tablets. The case feels very light before you put the tab in it. IMO even with the case on it, I believe it is still lighter than my wife's ipad 1 or my friends xoom. I love that you can charge it with the case on it. I have three cats that think my computer desk is a good place to take a nap. Now I will never have to worry again. Price is amazing. The case and shipping to NY was under $24. I wasn't ever going to get a case for my tab, liked the feel and weight, but I had a couple close calls carrying it or just holding it under my arm if I had other things to carry. Overall, very satisfied!
As far as tab not staying in farthest groove, if you use the stretchy band that holds the case closed for travelling and just slide it up over the bottom lip of the case it should hold it in place in that last groove. Works for me anyways.

Sadly, for me it has not arrived yet. I'm going to see how long this takes. But so you know.. I am in Toronto Canada.. so it'll be a little longer with customs and stuff

Just received the 360 yesterday. I couldnt be happier... the case is extremely well made. The tab stays up in every position, and the tab fits very well into the case and it doesnt add to much bulk. As someone else mentioned i wish they had a hybrid between the 360 and the clip, not a deal breaker just not a big fan of the elastic band that keeps the case closed. Just a tad bit of ocd on my end the hole on the back side of the case doesnt bother me, but i wish that the samsung logo was lined up in the center of the hole All in all great case and fast shipping

Ordered mine this morning and they shipped it this afternoon. That is service. Can't wait to get home and hopefully it will be there by Friday

Speck Clear GemShell for HTC One - Mini Review

Hi all,
I've been a lurker for many years here on XDA and figured I'd try and contribute for once. Sorry if someone has posted a review on this case in the other threads. I looked around for a bit but didn't find any.
I received my Speck GemShell for my HTC One http://www.speckproducts.com/smartphone-cases/htc/gemshell-for-htc-one.html about 3 days ago. It's a hard plastic case with gel incorporated around it. BTW, for those considering shipping options, mine shipped out from Oklahoma so it reached me in Chicago in a day via the free shipping option (USPS). That being said, here are my impressions so far:
Pros:
- The case still leaves the phones feeling pretty slim (though I still do prefer it nekkid).
- It's clear except for a gel around the front rim, corners, and inputs.
- The gel around the front rim elevates the phone when placing it on its face.
- The gel around the inputs will hopefully prevent wearing/cracking of the hard plastic.
- Seems well sealed enough that I haven't seen any dust or pocket enter the space between the case and phone.
- The speck logo on the back is really well done. It makes it seem like it's a part of the aluminum.
Cons:
- The power button becomes really recessed. Not a deal breaker for me but definitely something to take note of.
- Interacting with the volume buttons requires more effort.
- I'm OCD on keeping fingerprints off my phone/case and the cleaning has left micro-scratches on the case. So far it doesn't interfere with the appearance but we'll see after a longer period of time.​- Wish the gel actually covered the entire sides, top, and bottom for better coverage. Even with the clear plastic, you don't really see the aluminum on the sides, top, and bottom.
So you can see the selling point of this phone is not only that it's a clear case but the gel that they've incorporated into it. I'm a bit sad on the micro-scratches but I'm not convinced there's any other case-based solution that would be cost effective. I've attached pictures of the case below.

Thick, will turn yellow after a couple of weeks unlike other hard clear cases (such as the Spigen) and it's not very clear. Its very visible on the phone and defeats the purpose of it being clear.

I just got this case in the mail over the weekend (still waiting on phone) and The case feels rather flimsy on its own and is incredibly thin. I have no doubt it'll protect against scratches, but feels like it'll do nothing for drops. I didn't expect Otterbox protection, but was hoping for some kind of impact absorption. Anyone have any experience with these cases and drops with previous devices?

Actually I went into the Sprint store on Thursday the 18th & purchased the white & silver speck case cor my HTC ONE that I was receiving in the mail the next day on the 19th & liked my case on it because it matches tne phone perfectly & fits it really tight like a body glove. It's hard to put on & hard to take off but I saw the clear gel case by speck o line yesterday morning & wanted that one because it will show my phone all the way around, I just dont want it to loosen up over time but this one I do have by speck is a hard shell case on the outside but a softgray rubber on the inside

I have ordered the black one but it is still in post. Can someone tell me whether it adds any bulk to the phone? I bought a cheap one from ebay till my speck arrived and im completely satisfied with my cheap one and i hope speck is not bulky.

I was completely surprised at how thin the speck is. It's hardly noticeable.

I've had mine for two weeks and it's VERY yellow. I'll post pics when I can. I've had other clear cases before, hard and soft, but never had them turn yellow like this one.

I'm not sure of anyone has mentioned as o didn't read entire post. Leet414 u may try that compound they sell for headlight lenses to get scratches out. May be a stretch but that stuff works.

Yeah, i would never get the white one though. Thing is i was thinking the other day that maybe i shouldve gone for the blue one. Reason? Blue would stand out more if you leave it on the settee and people would not accidentally sit on it. I wish someone did a case for motorola in like all metal or aluminium.

I bought this one yesterday shmotog as I really wanted the sleep/wake function but don't think the Motorola one would protect the phone if dropped whereas I know this one would as the same case protected my previous Samsung numerous times.......even being dropped on bathroom tiles!! Got it in that lovely sky blue colour which I love

that's really nice but the thing is, did you see in my video how i show the case i bought prior to the genuine one? it's exactly the one you've got. does the sleep wake work with yours? you said you bought it yesterday, if you bought it from ebay i guess you wouldnt have got it by now but if you have, could you confirm if it does indeed turn the screen on and off? the thing is even if the flap on the one that i had (which is what you bought) moved, the magnet didnt touch the magnet on the screen. hope it works out for you oh and those credit card slots, dont put your credit card in it, ive heard the magnet is not good for the cards. anyway like i said in the vid the magnetic flap didnt work which is one of the reasons why i went for the genuine one.

I was dubious too shmotog so I emailed the seller first about the sleep/wake function and he says it definately works :good:
I also read the reviews for the case on Amazon (see link below) just to be sure, see link to Amazon below where folks confirm that it does indeed sleep/wake the phone There is also a You tube video for you to watch which I've linked to below also.

that's cool cause i think one you getting turns into a stand as well cause the one i got earlier was exactly same as yours but didnt have that cut out at the back which turns it into a stand. so even though my old one and the one you getting look exactly same but i guess one you gettin is better made. :good:

Shmotog, As promised I've just popped back to confirm that I got my new case this morning and the sleep/wake function works perfectly :good:
It's great not having to press that flaming button on the side anymore !
Really pleased with it, good quality, great protection for the phone and most of all I've got my favourite sky blue colour back

I can confirm that the flip case did not protect my phone when it fell out of my pocket! The magnet was not strong enough to keep the flip closed as it fell. The result was a smashed screen with small pieces of glass everywhere.

sorry to hear that mate. seems like it fell on concrete or something. yeah a leather one wouldve given more protection in such a case. someone i know still uses nokia 3310 for this reason!

Looking at the poll, it appears no one seems to like the lime (yellow) coloured case. Had there been an aluminium or metal case I think it would have gone down real well, what do you guys think?

I just received the Moto G Flip Shell (Turquoise) from Amazon UK today. I love it, no regrets even if i paid higher shipping cost to UAE.

Magpul Nexus 5 field case photos *PICTURE WARNING*

My only issue so far. The sharp edge on case bezel lifts the screen protector.
*UPDATE 1*
I received my Zagg Case Friendly screen protector. It works perfect with the Magpul case. It's also the HD film and it's really smooth to the touch... Unlike the original Zagg film. I definitely recommend this to anyone buying the Magpul cases when they become available.

I received my first wireless charger yesterday and it works perfectly with this case. The charger is the powerbot on Amazon. And charges pretty fast.

Where did you get it?
Where did you pick up those cases? I called magpul direct as soon as they made the announcement on their FB page 2 weeks ago and they said that they were "shipping to distributors." So far I haven't been able to find anyone that has them listed for sale.
I want one of these very, very bad. In fact I have called magpul monthly since November when I got my Nexus 5 bugging them to make a case. And now they have!!!
Just gotta figure out a way to get my hands on one now...

I ordered them direct from magpul. They normally don't sell direct, but I chatted with the lady on the phone for a few and she let me order them. But, they do in fact have them. So, it shouldn't be long until they show up at dealers.

According to their email the other week, they should have all the normal colors they make for the iPhone.
I don't have a wireless charger, so I'm not sure on that part. I can't use one one either way, because I have a Scosche Magic mount plate between phone and case.
I have no leads on dealers as of yet. I was told they are being shipped, but not to whom.

How are the buttons? Easily pressed or rigid like most other TPU cases?

The power button has a noticeable clicky feel to it. I do find that you have to press the lower part of the button to get a consistent press, because the one raised rib goes around the edge and is the same height as the button.
The volume rocker doesn't have any clicky feel to it. Because of this, it's kind of hard to tell that there's an action unless you are looking at the screen.
Those things I can live with. I've already gotten used hitting the lower part of the power button and I don't use the volume button very much. I also ordered a Zagg case friendly screen protector to hopefully eliminate the lifting issue. Will, report back once I've installed.

Magpul told me that the first distributors that they shipped to are Midway and Brownells. Been checking at those sites several times a day with no luck so far though...

I was a little sketchy about these based on the CAD image, but these came out AWESOME. I would definitely rock one.

I really want this case. Soon as I can find it...(I didn't see it on amazon when I searched the site on my N5).

Yea i called Brownells and was told they dont have a date on when they will be in and also had a online chat with Midway and was told the same thing. This sucks.

I kind of feel bad guys...kind of. I guess I got lucky when I called last week. Like I said, they usually don't sell direct. That's why I didn't tell everyone to call Magpul asking to order.
On a side note the case has been great. It has a strange feeling to it. Rigid, but still soft textured. Can't wait to get my case friendly screen protectors tomorrow to fix the bubbles.

We are all just jealous.
I can't wait to get my hands on one. Kudos to you for getting lucky.

I'm probably only gonna use the FDE case, since I'm partial to the color.
If someone want's a black one bad enough...
I'll sell the black one for $40 lol

New case scratched my phone! Searching for new! :'(

Hey guys. Well. Where to start....
Today when I opened my case I saw a scratch somehow on the phone and it doesnt mind me at all since its hidden but just sad that it happened.
The picture below is the phone where you can see where the scratch is and its not that big as in picture but yes....

I heard mixed about this case and unfortunately there became a scratch ...
However im searching for a new one and what I kinda want is that I goddamn what a case that doesnt collect dust around the screen where the picture says which is really annoying and also a case that is really grippy. Means that it is not slippery. I was thinking about fabric case from Google, Whats your thought?

I have the carbon fabric case for the XL 2 in the UK.

Any case will gather dust around screen unless something similar to the LED Case from Samsung that just uses plastic inserts to attach it.
But the XL 2 case is lovely... Much better than the Pixel XL Case from last year...

Woah it looks so nice! I have seen alot of reviews around it but one thing got me not willing to buy it, Apprently there is a gap between the case and where you charge your pixel, is that true? Because what if something etc a small stone gets in, wouldn't that case madness inside?

Nope fella... There is no bottom lip if thats what you mean. Ive attached another photo for you. But there aint no stone getting in there! Very tight fit too!
If thats a deal breaker for you, i can understand.
But for me i think its great - I love it. I consider it better then the Alcantara cases from Samsung for the Note 8 I have.

You wont be disappointed either - I think that all cases have their drawbacks etc... But its natural. Im usually quite careful with my phones / gadgets.
Finally - I would say if you want a decent case, check Spigen out... They are my favo non-OEM manu.

By the way! Forgot to ask, How is the grip? Can you hold it with one hand without slippery? Sorry if I mighy ask too many questions, Im thinking more because its kinda expensive Case so I want every penny to be worth it! Also how is the screen? Does the case make so the screen doesnt touch the table etc. when you have the screen on the table or?

Just buy it already... Grip is fine for me...

No but my younger brother does with his Pixel XL 2. Has the Live Maps Case... Good Combo.

Yeah! Do you might know what screen protector he is using?

Not a clue but he bought it from Carphone Warehouse.
But it doesn't curl around the sides...
I personally don't us screen protectors though

Just chiming in, I have one of the Google fabric cases and love it. As for the dust, I have issues with dust, along with other people as well, I just use a clean toothbrush once a week and lightly brush out the dust, works well for the speaker grilles too. As for the scratch, did you by chance drop your phone?

Ohhh okey! How are the stains after using fabric case?
Also I have not dropped it, the only way I can think is that either my nails somehow removed it or ..... thats the only thing I can think off. :crying:

I would say about two months or more, I love the case, it has a nice texture, good grip, and of course it fits nice and snug. It has protected from a fall onto concrete so far. On a side note, I have a chip out of my phone that is almost identical to the posters above, happened when I dropped my phone from about 1 foot on to a tile floor before I had a case on the phone......and that was the day I bought the Google case lol

I will live with this, but honestly for a 1000$ phone it's not correct.
