360 CASE from PYROSKINS!!! - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Accessories

This is yet another awesome case from pyroskins guys. I like it better than the popular clip case. Which I never thought would happen. Build quality is excellent. Usability is great. It feels really strong and durable. Check out the video....

Dear "Greg":
Please send me one of your cases. I promise to spam every GT10 website with gushing reviews. I PROMISE TO TITLE EVERY POST WITH CAPS-LOCK ON, and I will use a minimum of 14 exclamation points!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will also create video reviews with weird little glitches that make anyone watching feel like having a seizure.
Just kidding. Couldn't help myself
BTW- love the custom firmware Task650. Best one I've used, especially when paired with pershoot's kernel.

LOL...

+1 to that, when they ran out of the clip case and were waiting to get new ones in, he made sure mine got shipped asap so I could receive it before I left the country. Looks like I've got another case to purchase lol.
@Pyro,
If you read this, i have a question for you. What are the chances of you having any say in the design process of these cases? I would love to get a hybrid clip/360 version that doesn't need that elastic band to stay closed. I am gonna get the new one anyways, but I was just wondering.
Thanks for the awesome cases

Has anyone elase gotten this case? Mine is still in flight, but just wondering how others are getting on with theirs.

SO you're at home making cookbook holders instead of working on your ROM?
lmao im jus messin wit ya bro

Are you for real? $18.99??????????
Omg I should just order this
;;
Just ordered . 2 - 5 weeks ahaha luckily I'm not in a rush for it.

I got this case before going to europe. Its been 2 weeks so far and its been pretty good. The only issue i have is that the groove farthest from the binding doesnt hold the tab up. My tab always falls down immediatley even on a flat even surface.

Questions like this, feel free to send me an email or PM. I've been asked not to actively talk about the cases on the forums ... so I stick to lurking here and commenting in the general and Q&A threads.
email is pyroskins at gmail
But ya, I can do anything development wise ... I just have to order a qty of 500 at a time.

The groove closest to the binding works for landscape and portrait modes. It happens to be the groove i want to use most of the time so it is acceptable to me

Pyro ships fast! I ordered the 360 case last Monday by personal check and in today's (sat) mail was the case. Been playing around with it and I must say that it is a solid case. I researched for a long time and Tasks video review convinced me. I bought the tab for its slim design and weight compared to other tegra 2 tablets. The case feels very light before you put the tab in it. IMO even with the case on it, I believe it is still lighter than my wife's ipad 1 or my friends xoom. I love that you can charge it with the case on it. I have three cats that think my computer desk is a good place to take a nap. Now I will never have to worry again. Price is amazing. The case and shipping to NY was under $24. I wasn't ever going to get a case for my tab, liked the feel and weight, but I had a couple close calls carrying it or just holding it under my arm if I had other things to carry. Overall, very satisfied!
As far as tab not staying in farthest groove, if you use the stretchy band that holds the case closed for travelling and just slide it up over the bottom lip of the case it should hold it in place in that last groove. Works for me anyways.

Sadly, for me it has not arrived yet. I'm going to see how long this takes. But so you know.. I am in Toronto Canada.. so it'll be a little longer with customs and stuff

Just received the 360 yesterday. I couldnt be happier... the case is extremely well made. The tab stays up in every position, and the tab fits very well into the case and it doesnt add to much bulk. As someone else mentioned i wish they had a hybrid between the 360 and the clip, not a deal breaker just not a big fan of the elastic band that keeps the case closed. Just a tad bit of ocd on my end the hole on the back side of the case doesnt bother me, but i wish that the samsung logo was lined up in the center of the hole All in all great case and fast shipping

Ordered mine this morning and they shipped it this afternoon. That is service. Can't wait to get home and hopefully it will be there by Friday

Ordered one last night. *waits by the door*

Solid Wood Dock

UPDATE 4/4/11
For those of you interested in a dock from the last run, my stock was bought out by a local company.
I started to make another run, and I broke my back in an accident at work, yes I can still walk. 2 split discs, 1 herniated, 2 bulging, 1 vertibre broken. So getting in the shop was difficult to say the least, first surgery to relieve pain was a failure.
I do feel a little better, have an appointment for more surgery today, however pointis, these docks.
Id like to get back in the shop and start back up, wife has been so nice as to start replacing older equipment with new stuff while I have been down, sky is the limit now, I want a new dock for myself now, so the motivation to get in there even if it's to make one for myself, is pretty high.
Just thought i'd update, let anyone interested know what was/is going on. Emailing me is the best option sometimes.
Jim
UPDATE 2-14-2011
Damn......
I sold all 22 docks to one local company today.
So, I started on some new ones.
What ill wrap up this week are...
1 solid Mahogany dock
1 solid Walnut dock
1 Purpleheart and white oak dock.
I am waiting on a shipment of wood this week, then can get some other types out.
Probably going to start doing limited runs, say, ill only make 2-3 black walnut docks, or 1-2 ash and mahogany docks, and that will be the only time I offer said combo. Then ill move on to another design, or combo of exotic and domestic woods. I have alot of Japanese Cedar coming this week, but will only make a few.
Since this first run sold out, if you want to place an order, you can contact me via email. Email is the best way.
Price of docks are 40.00 + 11.00 s/h, I accept PayPal, and if needed in event you're not old enough for PayPal, you can send me a money order.
I will take orders, typical domestic and exotic woods will run the regular 40.00, however if you have a request for a certain type of wood and it is really exspensive, I will have to add a surcharge for that. I don't expect that unless you want a dock made from say....some obscure German wood.
Contact me at,
Jim
[email protected]
Here is a pic of the 3 I will have done by weeks end, first come first serve on these, ill post pics by this weekend of them completed if not presold.
Hey guys, thanks for showing the interest, I wouldn't have much to do in the shop if it wasn't for these docks for the DX, since I got a Galaxy Tab this weekend, you better believe I will make one for that.
Jim

Update 11/6
After not having anytime to work on more Docks, I had Time to Make one for my Wife Yesterday.
I got my Hands on some Japanese Cedar a week ago, and she wanted one made from Cedar, so, here it is, getting the 4th coat of Poly this morning...
I call it "The Blonde" I have some of that Cedar with Red and Blonde in it.
Also got some leather for it...
Update, 10/22
Well, went to solid Oak, and a Poly coat, made it not for me, but a member here.
Here are some pics, I have not attached the fabric, but did set the various types I have onto the dock.
Bonus Pics,
If you want to know more, shoot me an email, oldmacnut at g mail dot com
Here is the final,
It was real hard to match a 60 year old dresser, but for my first time staining I know my wife likes it. I did learn alot, now to make one for me but with the leather back instead of fabric.
Awesome job man. Did you build a magnet it into it for the desktop dock app?
No I did not embedd a magnet. Wife and I like the option to turn the deskclock on or off. Sometimes I just want to place mine in for texting or something else, but i have messed around with magnets.
I should have another one done by the weekend, I want one where the Dx sits level, so I am working on a curved back to match the contour of the phone, and I am also working on a vertical version as well. Will I sell any? sure if there are enough to people to justify my time spent. takes some time to make each one, but then again that is the very first one i did for the Dx. The Incredible dock....well I got like 12 of those things floating around somewhere.
1 Person out of 227 had something to say?, wow, guess I wont be posting the other stuff then.
Don't let the lack of comments get you down - they were so impressed they couldn't think of anything to say!
I stumbled across your docks today (I also saw the one you made for an Incredible) and I have to say, they look really great.
I'd love to see some more pics with the phones actually in them!
Have you recieved any word from prospective buyers? I'd REALLY like to purchase one for myself. If there isn't enough demand, then i'd be willing to pay a little more...
Edit: I just went back and looked again at the docks you made for the Incredible. They look even better than I remembered! If you begin to sell these, count me in for 2.
...Please post some more pics!
That looks very cool! Great job.
Very nice work. I love mixing nature with technology and this is a great example. The color of the hardwood looks like it meshes well with the X.

very good work indeed. Dont take this personal but I want to buy the Motorola Dock so bad. I really dont mind paying 45 dollars for it, its nice
that's great work. i'd love to see some in use pics too. would definitely be interested if i decide to go with a droid x
I would like to puchase one solid wood dock for my droid x please

Ditto...in a cherry finish please Also would need to imbed the magnets for the dock though Id pay upwards of 40 bucks for it too...
Just noticed this thread. Wow, this is nice! I'll buy one once you start selling them.
Wow, Ok. Did not check this thread.
Ok to answer a few questions.....
Sorry I wont post the templates.
Each dock take about a week.
Each Dock is different, as each one is done by hand, and sometimes I sand a little different
I have a new "play" on this dock
Yes I will make them for people.
Here are some pics of the 2nd revision.... Nevermind that I totally screwed up the clear coat....lol
These 2 docks...I made cause I was bored, If you are indeed interested in one, shoot me an email, my oldmacnut at g mail
Ok, so since there seems to be some interest, Wife will be going to Home Depot tomorrow to pick up some wood. Since Home Depot does not carry any Cherry that I would bother to use, Ill make 4 of her style, and 4 of my style for starters.
Ill update tuesday night on progress and how long it will be, could just knock them all out this week. Sorry I have been out of town since thursday for a wedding.

hmmmm...looks like mine!
Nice idea! Here's a thought: you could set a magnet in your dock too so the phone would bring up the dock app. A bit of router work to make the magnet flush would be pretty much all you need.

[Q] Credit Card case for Evo 4G (update: pics on page 2)

Does anyone know if there are any credit card cases for our phone? I was looking for something along the lines of the casemate ones that the iphone has:
http://www.case-mate.com/iPhone-4-Cases/Case-Mate-iPhone-4-ID-Credit-Card-Cases.asp
I have tried looking on google and xda and haven't found anything yet.
Any help would be appreciated!
Hey, sorry I can't help much, but if no one can find one, this would be a great time for me to make one up using CAD, I'll keep in touch maby I can make something up.
Sent from my netarchy_toast, froyo beast of a machine evo!
That would be awesome!
I would definitely order one, it seems so practical to only go happy hour with my phone, ID, and credit card.
Obostore.com sells a leather case that does this. Someone reviewed it on anther forum and said the cut outs didn't line up perfect but didn't get in the way either. Will only hold a few credit cards but I think that is plenty. I ordered one over a week ago and it should be arriving any day now. I'll do a review on it with pics when it arrives if you guys want. Oh, it is less than $10 shipped!!
Swyped from my supercharged Evo
That would be great! I can't wait to see your review!
I'm not a big fan of leather... but we'll see. I want to keep it slim and grippy. Right now I have a clear TPU case on my naked EVO. (no battery cover)

wow Obostore.com has a bunch of stuff for the evo.
I'm also looking forward to the pictures.

Any updates on the review for this case?
Sent from my . Evo 4G using XDA App
I wish man!! Obostore is taking forever to get it to me. I ordered a 2000mah Andida battery from them about 5 days before this case and I've had it for around 2 weeks now. If it doesnt arrive in the mail today (12:30 pm eastern time at the latest) then I will call them or email them and see what the deal is. I am VERY anxious to get this case!!
EDIT: OK, I just looked at my account on Obostore's website and I actually ordered the case 11 days after battery. The case was ordered on the 13th, so it has been 13 days now. I got a good feeling that today is the day. Keeping my fingers crossed.....
OK, just talked to my fiance and the case came in the mail today!! Finally, cant wait to get home and check it out. I told her to open it when she said that I had a package come in the mail today. Her comment was that it looked nice and smelled like real leather. So, we'll see. Pics and my review will be here in this thread tonight before 12 Eastern time.
I cant wait for the review, this is the kind of case that i have been wanting to buy ever since i saw a similair case that my friend had for his iPhone
Nice case, but for some reason I can't stop thinking about the EVO vs. IPhone video.."does it come with a case?"
Ok guys. Went out for a bit when I got off so I got in later than expected. My phone is in the case now and I'm using it to post this. Pictures are uploading now. Just want to use it and play with it a bit to give you guys a fair first impression. So far though......Loving it!!
Swyped from my supercharged Evo!
Just realized how LONG this is..sorry
Well, in just before midnight . OK, so after using this for a couple hours I really do like it. The leather seems like a good quality, it does smell and feel real although I know there are some good fake/synthetics out there, so I really dont know and dont want to give you all false information. So I will just say that the "material" is nice and the stitching is well done on it as well. All of the cutouts, corners, and pockets are great. The Evo fits in it nice and snug, but not too tight where I thought it would scratch the phone. I held it upside down by the credit card side and shook the case and my Evo didnt even offer to slide out . You can see in the pics that my Zagg screen protector is peeling up on the bottom right hand corner and it did pull on that, but everything does as it has been this way for a few days now (just waiting on my replacement from Zagg which is in the mail). You have 2 slots for cards or I.D. on the right side (which are snug) and a compartment behind those where I will put cash(some in the pics for visual purposes, cash slides in there and is out of sight). Also have 2 slots for memory cards. A SD card and a Micro SD card fit in them perfect (as seen in pics). I was worried that the Micro SD would fall out, but actually I had to take my TP2 stylus and push it out. Not because it squeezed it super tight, but due to the design as there is a recessed area for the cards to keep them in place...Nice! In the center there is an area for a stylus or I guess a small ink pen. I actually may add another small hole and insert a lanyard in that area. The clasp looks like a snap button but is magnetic and latches very tight. Easy for you to open but it isnt going to open on accident thats for sure. You have access to volume, power, 3.5mm jack, charging port and HDMI port. Rear camera, leds, and speaker cutouts are very nice and lined up perfect!! Tested a few pics and the case did not interfere at all. Front facing camera is slightly interferred by the case. Also, on a phone call...the case blocks the proximity sensor so the screen stays off. I actually like that, and if you need to access the keypad in call, slide the phone up just slightly and the screen comes on.
Overall, I love it and I think it is unbeatable for $11.99 shipped!! I did not buy this for everyday use but for when I'm going out and want to keep my pockets light. I can carry this instead of my phone and a wallet. I think though that I am going to end up using this much more than I had originally anticipated. I'll let the pics speak for themselves in the next post.

I think that after seeing the pictures that you all will agree that this is a really good deal for $11.99 shipped!! Like I said before, I bought it just to use occasionaly...BUT, I like it so much that it will be getting used a LOT more than I had anticipated!! Here is the link to it for any one just joining in - http://www.obostore.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=113 (expect a couple weeks for delivery)
Thanks for the review!
I had no idea the case was that thick... I was looking for something along the lines of the case-mate cases for the iphones. Its a big hassle to get the phone in my pocket as it is, adding such a buff case won't make it any easier.
Maybe, I'll have to custom make one or something...
Too bad there's no belt clip and/or loop.
I've been carrying it the last couple days to get a real feel for it and just because I like it so much. Its been a real pleasure to use and its been nice to leave my wallet behind.
The size is far from an issue for me, as thats what I expected from a case that would hold SO much. Also, I am used to an extended battery and door on my phone with a tpu case, so this is not much bigger really. It drops right in my back pocket without issue. My front pocket (uniform) is where I normally carry my phone, even with the extended battery and tpu case; but it will not fit while in this case. Overall I am very pleased, and it actually surpassed my expectations in function and quality. Hope this all helps some of you decide to either buy, our not buy this case.
*Swyped from my supercharged Evo*
damn that holds alot. I need a wallet, heh. great idea for a new one.
I got one question.... Where did you get the wallpaper with all of those little droids??????

3 in 1 Combo Case & Holster for Samsung Galaxy S II (T-Mobile)

I first found this on Ebay but the seller sold out.
I found it on Amazon.com for $19.93
Just wondering if any have tried this case out.
Yeah I know...no one really wears belt clips these days lol.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005TWBL9S/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A1RH0KAQ4UOK5L
is that a holster and allows the phones screen to face inward? if so, i am very excited! i just spoke to my friend about that the other day...all the cases ive seen have the screen facing outward and exposed...i dont like the vulnerability of that..i told him i wish i had the resources to pitch an idea like that to someone and get it made...also..is that phone in a rubber case too?
also...im curious about the ease of putting the phone in and out of it...if it will scratch up the back of the case
they are selling on ebay for much cheaper $14
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Protector-C...588767?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item1e68949c9f
Can't you just do that with any holster? Its the same size around, unless some holsters have the button area set but this one seems like both ways since both side are the same amount of space for buttons
DMolina ツ
the package comes with a holster and a case..i dont know about the dimensions of either...if you buy a case or holster separately they may not fit perfectly together...and most holsters are just cases with a small detachable piece on the back to put it on/off of your belt...therefore the screen is facing out..which to me is a no no
like this one..

oh..never saw that post...good job putting that together...a powerskin case that goes into a holster would be the mother of all cases...for me at least...i normally just buy like $5-10 cases on ebay..but if they made that i'd shell out some real money for it
I actually still use a holster or I would lose my phone lol. I was gonna buy.that same combo on eBay but just decided to wait for the active seidio combo.
the seidio combo looks a lot higher quality...but it is crazy expensive $40-50?

i got one of these cases for my phone the first week i had it same color and everything and not only is it a cheap POS but it doesn't even snap on the phone snug and is bulkier than a ************ buyer beware!!
It ended up fitting my phone so horribly i demanded a refund from the seller and he told me i didn't need to bother sending it back.
ALSO: the title "3 in 1" combo case is a load of **** because the kick stand doesn't work in landscape...no joke. You can see in the pic i uploaded that the kick stand clip part sticks out and the phone cannot balance on that uneven point it literally just doesn't work.
Also the portrait mode kickstand mode requires you to put your phone in upside down and the kick stand function is based off of extreme pressure on cheaply made plastic and nothing else. When you bend the pincer clip open you can see it bend where it is connected to the holster by a clearly visible glue circle
So yeah just wanted to prevent someone else from wasting twenty bucks... and sorry to those who already did.

looks like the seidio combo is the best solution for people looking for a case and holster...but at $50 its quite expensive...at least its a reputable company though

I use this iPhone sport armband case for my phone so i can keep it safe and protected but also add no extra bulk. I wish i had a link but i got it from Walmart looked through all their cases and was about to walk out when i saw this beauty sitting on the iPhone exclusive aisle of accessories.
It fits the phone to a tee.. snug as ****. Its almost too good of a fit but manages to be perfect.
Again i wish i could hook it up w link or even brand but i just threw the packaging out as soon as i got it and slipped it in my device heh.
Here's a visual reference I'd imagine wall marts all have similar inventory especially with something like this
I'm aware the phone is not a sgs2 its an evo 3d to demonstrate how much you can see the screen through the window and because i dont have tapatalk installed on it and im too lazy to install it just so i can take a picture of the phone im using with it. Rest assured that the case fits like a dream. The material is also made so you can interact with your screen through it.

iSkin Cases for Galaxy S III

Saw an article on this today and it looks good...not too excited about the pricing on their site or the name beginning with an "i"
The iSkin Aura basically looks like a premium version of the Ringke Slim Lite (Which I have and is great btw). I might get it but I think I'll just wait until it hopefully appears on Amazon with a cheaper price and prime shipping.

The ecplise aura will look good with my pebble blue gs3. I would have preferred a white/silver version instead of white/pink :/
The Aura one's look really nice, but didn't someone say something about aluminum backings interfering with NFC? The TPU Vibe cases for $30 is a joke.

Just read this reply about the Barely There Case.
But, if you never think you're gong to use NFC, then it's a moot point.

Anyone tried this? The price may appear a little higher.
It's beautiful but I don't really like that it won't stand on every surface.
Got my Aura today. The case itself looks very nice and feels solid, though I believe it does look a bit off on my white model. Very strong distinction between the phone and the case. (In the images in OP the phone looks far more gray than the actual phones - perhaps an optical illusion from the background?)
The case can be a pain to get off - partly due to the phone feeling so fragile when you start putting force on it. This is a good thing from a case perspective, as I'm sure it won't easily come off when it shouldn't. It doesn't add a lot of size to the phone, but with a phone this big (and small hands) you can tell every little bit. Not bad, but I did have to adjust.
NFC does NOT work. Which I'm disappointed by. I use it for all the vending machines/restaurants here at work, where I usually have my phone in my hands already. Due to this, I may look at another case option that allows NFC. If it wasn't for this, I'd keep the case for sure.
Pulling it out of the box I echoed the thoughts of "I'm actually paying this much for a case?" from when I bought it. No Snake Surprise in a can, or confetti was expected, but it was anti-climatic. I expect cases to earn their cost when the device is finally dropped. No, I will not drop this on purpose, but it feels like it will protect it reasonably well. I say reasonably because it does not wrap much to the front of the phone, so a screen-first landing will certainly still have a higher risk of scratching - but I like that it doesn't add much thickness. Plus, it does come with a screen protector.
I like it, and may keep it. If you use NFC, skip this and look into a silicon option... Maybe the vibes? (Someone please post if that allows NFC) If you don't use this and you have the cash burning through your pocket, I'd suggest this to a friend.
What's so good about these cases to be $39.99?

Pretty much...
I like the look of these, fairly unique.
With that said,i already sent my refund request due to the nfc issue.
I bought the D3O case from tmobile, similar to this with a gimmicky "military grade" padding inside but so far i like it a lot. Nice grippy rubber coating on the outside and its fairly thin. Makes the phone not cramp your hand
I havent seen anyone else mention this case, sorry if it was already

Got a reply, and it was worth the $40. They are sending me a vibes case, and will contact me when their new NFC compliant version of the Aura is available to send to me. I'm always willing to pay a bit extra for a good company, and I certainly wouldn't have gotten this from an ebay seller. So while I'm not thrilled with the NFC issue initially, iSkin handled it perfectly.
Confirmed-No workie!

I tried NFC today for the first time with my iSkin Aura on my Samsung Galaxy S3. It definitely does NOT work. I held it up to my Nexus 7 several times with the case on in many different positions. Damn, I really like this case too. To confirm, I took the case off and tried sending a pic from the S3 to the Nexus 7 and presto chango, there it was. Now I need to decide if NFC is going to be used enough to have me looking elsewhere for a case. Anyone with any Option "2" cases for me? Anyone want to buy a Black/Red Aura? LOL! [email protected]
Peace, Out!
Great Answer

I have it on my schedule to call them today. Thanks for the heads up. I have purchased a few products from iSkin and they have always been great to deal with. I wouldn't have known about this if I didn't try and transfer a pic to my Nexus 7 yesterday. I was like "WTF"? I know this is supposed to work. Take the case off and presto/chango it works. So now I get to call customer service and get it handled.
I'll keep you posted. :laugh::good::laugh:

Magpul Nexus 5 field case photos *PICTURE WARNING*

Just received these cases in and thought I'd share some pictures. I will post up some thoughts on them after using a few days.

My only issue so far. The sharp edge on case bezel lifts the screen protector.
*UPDATE 1*
I received my Zagg Case Friendly screen protector. It works perfect with the Magpul case. It's also the HD film and it's really smooth to the touch... Unlike the original Zagg film. I definitely recommend this to anyone buying the Magpul cases when they become available.
*UPDATE 2*
I received my first wireless charger yesterday and it works perfectly with this case. The charger is the powerbot on Amazon. And charges pretty fast.
OMG!! Cant wait to get my hands on this case, nice pics btw.
Where did you get it?
Where did you pick up those cases? I called magpul direct as soon as they made the announcement on their FB page 2 weeks ago and they said that they were "shipping to distributors." So far I haven't been able to find anyone that has them listed for sale.
I want one of these very, very bad. In fact I have called magpul monthly since November when I got my Nexus 5 bugging them to make a case. And now they have!!!
Just gotta figure out a way to get my hands on one now...
I ordered them direct from magpul. They normally don't sell direct, but I chatted with the lady on the phone for a few and she let me order them. But, they do in fact have them. So, it shouldn't be long until they show up at dealers.
are there more colors available? looks awesome :victory:
Thanks for posting those pics! I have used Magpul in the past and they are indeed great cases.
I have a couple of questions if you don't mind.
1. Does wireless charging work with this case? I assume it does but just want to make sure.
2. Do you have any dealer names to keep on the lookout for the case availability? I know Amazon sells them but not sure about any others.
Thanks.
According to their email the other week, they should have all the normal colors they make for the iPhone.
I don't have a wireless charger, so I'm not sure on that part. I can't use one one either way, because I have a Scosche Magic mount plate between phone and case.
I have no leads on dealers as of yet. I was told they are being shipped, but not to whom.

How are the buttons? Easily pressed or rigid like most other TPU cases?

The power button has a noticeable clicky feel to it. I do find that you have to press the lower part of the button to get a consistent press, because the one raised rib goes around the edge and is the same height as the button.
The volume rocker doesn't have any clicky feel to it. Because of this, it's kind of hard to tell that there's an action unless you are looking at the screen.
Those things I can live with. I've already gotten used hitting the lower part of the power button and I don't use the volume button very much. I also ordered a Zagg case friendly screen protector to hopefully eliminate the lifting issue. Will, report back once I've installed.

Magpul told me that the first distributors that they shipped to are Midway and Brownells. Been checking at those sites several times a day with no luck so far though...
I was a little sketchy about these based on the CAD image, but these came out AWESOME. I would definitely rock one.
I really want this case. Soon as I can find it...(I didn't see it on amazon when I searched the site on my N5).
BTW, thank you so much, Rubicon, for taking the time to share this case with us.

I kind of feel bad guys...kind of. I guess I got lucky when I called last week. Like I said, they usually don't sell direct. That's why I didn't tell everyone to call Magpul asking to order.
On a side note the case has been great. It has a strange feeling to it. Rigid, but still soft textured. Can't wait to get my case friendly screen protectors tomorrow to fix the bubbles.

We are all just jealous.
I can't wait to get my hands on one. Kudos to you for getting lucky.
I'm probably only gonna use the FDE case, since I'm partial to the color.
If someone want's a black one bad enough...
I'll sell the black one for $40 lol
Definitly keeping an eye on this thread. This is one of the things I've been jealous of iPhone users about.
