Hi
I was trying to add a custom rom and root my honor 7x.
So i installed a twrp-like recovery (with success), and with that, i sucessfully installed a new ROM.
But now my home folder (/storage/emulated/0) is not writable and seems to be encrypted :/
I cannot do a factory reset or install a new ROM:
- when i go to fastboot mode, i have:
- PHONE Unlocket
- FRP Lock
So i cannot flash anything with fastboot, and my recovery is no more accessible (don't know why...)
My question is, how can i unlock the FRP ?
Thank you very much,

Look in developer options, the "enable OEM unlock" switch is the "frp lock"
You might already know but I will say anyway just in case.
To boot recovery while phone is rebooting unplug USB and press volume up
To boot from adb use "adb reboot recovery"
From terminal app on phone "reboot recovery"
From powered off, make sure USB in unplugged hold volume up and power

Thank you for your reply.
Yes i know for the oem option in developper mode, but this option is grayed out (and enabled) but the frp is still locked :/
I also know about rebooting to recovery, but this is the default Honor recovery (nothing very usefull).
I tried the dload folder method (by putting an update.app into dload folder of my sdcard and then booting with + and - and power, but the update failes at 5%. It must be because of the frp lock).
Thank you

I keep seeing this frp lock issue, comes uP after a reset in twrp or attempted exposed install, some other system change.
Are you on stock ROM and stock recovery?
If so can try to relock bootloader, that will make OEM toggle not greyed anymore. Then can make it off and back on.
Then unlock bootloader again
But only relock if on unchanged stock
I already tried to lock the bootloader again, with no success (probably bcs of the frp lock itself)
:/
Hi
I have same issue too.
How I can relock bootloader and then unlock it?
any link for chaines rom?
I want reinstall it
I created a thread for this: here
NOTES:
For Fastboot roms you need to have an unlocked bootloader
I suggest using fastboot mode for a clean reinstallation

MAKE SURE THAT YOUR BOOTLOADER IS UNLOCKED BEFORE DOING THIS OR YOU WILL BRICK YOUR DEVICE
Fastboot roms are flashed through a special tool by xiaomi which can be found: here
You also might need adb drivers which are found: here
1. Open the drivers file and click "y" for every option that it asks for.
1. Install the fastboot tool tool
2. Download the fastboot rom that you wanna flash
3. Unzip the rom to a folder on your pc
4. Open the tool and in bottom right corner there will be 3 options, select "clean all"
5. Click on the "select" button on top left corner and head to the folder that you unziped, select it.
6. On your device enable "USB debugging", "install via USB", "USB Debugging (security settings)", and disable "verify apps over USB" (Developers options are enabled by going to "about phone" then spam clicking the "MIUI version" until it says that your are a developer. then go to "additional setting" and you will find "developer options")
7. Boot your device to fastboot mode by holding down the vol- + power key together until you see a bunny with fastboot sign.
8. Connect your device to your PC and click the "refresh" button on top right corner. (your phone should now appear in the list)
9. Click "flash" and wait until your device boots to the MI logo and 3 dots. (DONT DISCONNECT YOUR DEVICE BEFORE THAT!!!)
10. Wait for your device to boot up
11. Enjoy!
I flashed the Beta using fastboot but its asking for a password. I'm locked out how to I regain access?
edit:
never mind after i managed to change it to English I figured it out
Ive follow the unlock method on xda for unlocking realme x bootloader... but when i tried to flash the powerd shell comment "fastboot flashing unlock" command the phone get out form fastboot mode and says press any button to reboot and the powerdshell showing ""Comment writing failed"
but the indepth test showing application showing submitted successfully.....!!!!
my fon is 6/64 with chines rom RMX1901_11_A.21
Use cmd prompt instead of powershell. Try other bootloader unlocking commands, I don't remember which worked for me, Google search it
maybe use cmd amd don't forget to turn on "enable oem unlock" in the developer options
Hi, I want to move to a custom ROM on my A2 Lite. But before anything else, I need to backup my phone.
1st step : TWRP recovery.
On the PC, ADB driver is installed. Phone powered and connected, I have no problem to send ADB command to phone. "adb reboot bootloader" for example.
But once the phone is in fastboot (logo on screen), it is not recognized by PC (no driver) and I can"t send Fastboot command.
Any hint ?
Thanks.
Ok, I found a solution.
Downloading Google USB Driver but installation procedure is wrong, I should FORCE it and manually assigne the driver "Android Device / Bootloader" to be able to connect in Fastboot mode.
fastboot oem unlock
-> Reboot with the warning message but wipe all data. It's the only I found to unlock the bootloader :/
fastboot oem edl
-> Not the solution to flash the new ROM
fastboot boot twrp*.img
-> Way better to get the recovery flashed
Hi, my daughter's G10 had afailed OTA. After reboot it does not unlock via pattern any more.
I was going to do a wipe but cannot enter recovery.
I can enter fastboot via power vol- and that brings up >fastboot at bottom on screen.
fastboot reboot fastboot brings up the other fastboot with options to Reboot system now, Reboot to bootloader, Power off but reboot bootloader fails
It is a G10 bought in South Africa
Product name ROGA_sprout
Bootloader version - unknown
Secure Boot yes
Serial number PT99652AA||6040|389
Hardware version 0
in mini >fastboot mode I can see it is in slot b and can switch to slot a but slot a does not even boot
I'm running Ubuntu but could get access to windows
I'm open to anything, TWRP/CWM bootloaders, custom roms
