CM12.1 ROM v3 BetaHydri for LeTV 1 Pro US - GPS Working? Free Ram?

Hi! i am new to the forum and have a Letv Le 1 Pro US with stock malware Rom.
I want to change to CM12.1 ROM v3 by BetaHydri. But have a few questions. I am in doubt in rooting stock rom and clean the trojans and adware or changing to this custom Rom.

1-My question is if the GPS works fine? In stock Malware Rom is very fast. I see some custom roms with gps problem.
2-4G data works well on Sim2? and Hotspot?
3-Is any major bug on this v3 Custom Rom?
4-How many free Ram is available? without installing other apps besides the ones that are in the ROM.

I went to TWRP 3.0.2 for a factory reset wipe
Installed ROM "cm-12.1-20160713-BetaHydri-CollapseTweakV3.zip"
Installed OpenGApps arm64 5.1 Nano
Installed all three ZIPs from DolbyAtmos Fix
Wiped Caches via TWRP
Rebooted

I'm on the V4, and actually everything seems good! Just have to test some sensors (Gyroscope)

"Only some build.prop changes as some folks reported problems. [...]
one of the main changes was this:
ro.telephony.default_network=22,22 and ro.ril.hsxpa=1
it was before
ro.telephony.default_network=10,10 and ro.ril.hsxpa=2"
So LTE and UMTS changes basically

System freezes when data connection switches to Edge
Hi All,
Using this ROM from BetaHydri, overall it works really good, however I have a problem that is getting annoying: whenever the phone switches to Edge from LTE/HSPA, the system freezes. As this can happen even in a staircase in an office building or on a train ride on the countryside it is rather vexing.
I have deleted the caches, but the issue persists.
Has anyone encountered the same problem maybe? Any ideas how to solve this?

Evaluation and some solutions
After some evaluation I can say this rom is really good.
There were some issues however:
I had sensors malfunctioning (gyro inverted). There is some discussion on this subject in Betahydri's developer thread, but I cannot post there as I'm considered a newbie by xda
Somehow the sensor calibration file (/persist/sensors/sns.reg) can get messed up. The trick is to delete the file, and on the next boot the system should replace it with the defaults, which are in /system/etc/sensors/sensor_def_qcomdev.conf. But this is not (always?) happening on this CM rom. What I did to resolve was to delete /persist/sensors/sns.reg, make a full TWRP backup, factory wipe, flash cuoco's 11s rom, start it, confirm if the gyro is working again, then restore the TWRP backup. Maybe there's a simpler way, but this worked.
I had a non-working notification LED. Wiping data in TWRP solved this, but I just had to find out what it was It turns out wiping the data of Settings Storage (com.android.providers.settings) was enough to restore the notification LED. The culprit is that there is a value in the settings.db of this component, in the system table called notification_light_pulse which was set to 0 somehow. Setting it to 1 with SQLite Editor (speed software) also solved the problem. There are more interesting values in this table by the way.
IR is not working, this is a known issue and I have no solution.
Double tap to wake does not work, at first I thought this would be a showstopper for me, but then I found out that with the Gravity Screen app, I can wake and sleep by using proximity and G sensors, which more than satisfies my needs for easy wake up and sleep.
OTG is not working natively, this can be overcome by third party apps like USB OTG helper. Could have something to do with fuse kernel modules not being available.
Volume level of ringer/notification is not calibrated, first step is already very loud and it doesn't change much if set higher. Does somebody now a solution for this?
I have dual SIMs and I could not switch one SIM to anything else than GSM only. Trick is to disable the other SIM, then set the network mode you want, and then re-enable the other SIM. There can be only one SIM for data, but somehow it wouldn't switch if the other SIM (that currently has the data) is still active.
If I find more, I'll post here.

Getting pretty bad battery drain. I went from 100% to 60% in a few hours and I didn't even use the phone, it was just sitting on standby

You can try to see what is happening with OS Monitor (from play store) In settings, enable expert mode to see the native Linux processes, try to find the one that is eating the cpu. I had this once, it was some media indexer process that would not stop (can't remember the exact name).

Hi all,
Since i cannot post in ROM's thread, i will ask here for your help. I am having a hard time installing Xposed on BetaHydri-CollapseTweakV4.
I get an error while fashing Xposed Framework xposed-v86-sdk22-arm64:

So i successfully flashed the arm framework (for 32 bit), for afterwards to install XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4. But now i am getting "Xposed Framework installed, but now active."

I've got the US version and I'm with 12.1 v4.
I got only edge on data sim (the other is one only for calls)
Any ideas as I can't select any options but GSM from the hidden menu in *#*#4636#*#*?
Is it OK if I flash 14s Cuoco now as I'm in 12.1?

It's interesting how the same phone works differently for different people... what I mean is that the GPS on my phone is very bad - it was bad from the very beginning with factory ROM, with MrRusch ROM, different versions, gps.conf tweaks, etc.... Now I am using an external bluetooth GPS receiver as the fix was painfully slow or non-existent. Some people report no such problems, how can that be, I wonder?

Now I use CM 12.1 V4 ROM from BetaHydri, But I found some bugs :
1. Error clock / alarm... If I choose setting or an alarm clock, appeared notification "unfortunately, clock has stopped"
2. IR isn't working
3. And I have a problem with the network 4G LTE, where the issue there is no on EUI ROM
Please help me to fix it.
To be honest I prefer premises EUI ROM if there is not malware and adware, Is there EUI ROM clean of Malware and adware?
If there are please help me to link from the ROM and the way instal rom, because I was new in using x800.
And I had experienced hard brick at instal couco92 14S.

The latest build is pre-rooted and SuperSU is unnecessary

Does this ROM have force encrypt disabled like other Nitrogen OS builds?

The same here. YouTube, Apple music , Amazon music, Spotify all failed to play here. Although some game can play simple audio.
Is it possible that it is missing some codec libs ?

Tried to flash latest build but got stuck in a Google loop . Clean install and latest vendor. Could have been a bad download so will try again.

Tried again with fresh download and all is fine thanks for another ROM to try.

I'm stuck in boot logo boot loop. I flashed rom and dynamic minimal gapps and reboot. no dice. this is also happening other ROMs I flash. 2 days ago I updated factory image from @WugFresh toolkit. again can't flash no ROMs boot logo loop every rom. can someone please point me in right direction. thx in advance

What vendor image are we supposed to use? I flashed N4F26Q but when i boot it asks me to use the F image.

I am still not sure if you are using 3rd Party Recovery or the OEM recovery to flash your rom.
I am very hesitate with my Z17 which has been flashed with 3rd Party Recovery and Rooted with SuperSU.
It has been revealed in reference to http://bbs.nubia.cn/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1001481&highlight=root, the root will be lost after you wipe off data.
Assuming I use 3rd Party Recovery to flash your rom. SuperSU will be replaced by Magisk but the device is still not rooted after being wiped off data. and i cannot use the 3rd Party recovery to root the device as it will reinstall Supersu.
Please advise how to resolve this issue....

I don't understand you, but if you follow the guide to flash, you will have functional root with Magisk.

Because I'm not able to unlock the bootloader and install TWRP, the only things I can do are Wipe user data and Do a factory reset with the stock recovery.
Is it sufficient to install your ROM ?
Can I flash your ROM with the stock recovery tools ?

You have a guide with how to unlock bt and flash TWRP. You need TWRP to flash custom ROMs, stock recovery only can flash stock ROMs.

Thanks arceoxis, I know that guide... May be my configuration is "special" or my phone is "special" (or both) everything I tried doesn't work (see my last tests here).
I tried on 4 different machines (2 Win 8.1 x64 pro, XP pro, XP mediacenter and 2 linux (Mint Cinnamon)
fastboot always hangs on fastboot oem unlock...
I'm not sure it is possible to flash TWRP without unlock
I'll try again this evening (with the 3.06 stock) :
* factory reset (via parameters)
* wipe data, via stock recovery
* wipe to factory (I don't remember the exact item, I don't have the phone with me) via stock recovery
* flash the last 3.06 stock ROM
* "rewipe" (is it necessary ?)
... and try to unlock and flash TWRP again

reboot
reboot to stock recovery
wipe : user data and cache
reset to factory again
reboot
the phone started as a new one
install some applications (eg. firefox to have standard browser)
start adb session in administrative mode
unlock : ok

I have successfully flashed your rom to my Z17 without issue with Gmail which I previously had. This is a good news. However the bad news are below
1. I cannot log in NUBIA ACCOUNT;
2. I installed ' Google News and Weather ' from Google Play Store. It requires me to check internet connection ( I know internet is connected) and nothing is coming.
3. I cannot install Bankwest (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=au.com.bankwest.mobile&hl=en) and it remind me that 'This app is incompatible with your device'. But I know the bankwest was successfully installed on my device previously.
Can you please investigate and advise?

I have a serious problem wıth thıs phone please any1 help me..
the day ı bought phone everythıng was ok..
since 2 weeks ı dont know whats goıng on with camera .
my phone restarts auto sometimes when ı open camera or watch a video.
ım gettıng crazyy of thıs anymore.
I will sell the phone wıth a good price but ı dont want to be a ugly man to sell broken thıng to some1.
why when ı open camera phone restart auto ? battery ıs full...
ı did hard reset wıth all stock roms.. 2,34 till 3,06 ... sitll my problm ıs same..
ı am goıng to give a try wıth thıs rom now...
but pls some1 help me with thıs..

There are several people are reporting same problem as yours in Nubia Chinese forum. It has been determined a problem with hardware. You can replace it with newone.

There are several people are reporting same problem as yours in Nubia Chinese forum. It has been determined a problem with hardware. You can replace it with newone.

Yes, you need contact Nubia service for replacement. These people who have this problem have been offered by Nubia for replacement as per forum discussion.

Band locking for Nubia UI 5.0
Nubia z17 is best phone but in Nubia UI 5.0 Modem driver has Algorithm modified by Nubia Team which continuously change LTE band for best signal & best speed ,which is good only on paper and very good effort but practically not good because every time band change Data connection & VOLTE (HD) connection off & on so if you are calling then call drop & if you are in internet connection lost. So BAND Locking is must in settings for Nubia UI 5.0
At least in India without Band locking , i can not use Reliance JIO LTE it has band 3,5 & 40 , and NUBIA UI 5.0 change band 3 to 5 & 5 to 40 , or 3 to 40 any time continuously.
I use Network Signal Guru Application with ROOT ,
So if any nubia z17 users face this difficulty please use Network Signal Guru App with ROOT your phone.
I think Nubia team must give band locking option in setting in next update.
Please forward this problem to Nubia Team China.

Laggy video playback and no audio

Hi all, after I flash any rom (ressurection remix or lineage os 14.1) video lags in YouTube and there is no audio when it does play. Also Spotify has no audio and same with Facebook videos etc.
This is obviously a system wide thing so if someone could help me I'd greatly appreciate it as I can't use my phone for what id normally use it for. Many thanks in advance.

Hi, I have the same problem, only I am using stock rom 9.2.3.0 can't find any reason why this happened. All videos stutter with no audio. Before I updated to newest release it was all working.

I have the same problem with LOS 16.
Unfortunately buildprop cannot find an attribute called audio.deep_buffer.media.
What else can I do?

Same problem happened to me yesterday (didn't hear the alarm clock cause there was no sound ). I'm on the same version of unofficial rr16 from 4 months and this issue began yesterday. If i reboot the phone the problem disappear for some time, then comes back again.
P.S. i don't have audio.deep_buffer.media in my build prop too

Lol you saved me. I am using a miui gsi right now, I also didn't have the prop. Simply download a root explorer like mixplorer, go to /system/build.prop and open it with text editor. Then add: audio.deep_buffer.media=false

Upgrade from AEX 4.6 to RR 6.0 (kinda lost) ?

It has been a while since I toyed with my Zuk Z2 and I totally missed the Oreo train.
I would like to update my custom ROM with the newest Resurrection Remix OS but some things are still quite unclear.
I saw a lot of talk around updating the baseband version to enable offline charging. And some users also recommend to flash a stock ZUI Oreo ROM before flashing any custom Oreo.
My question is : can I update only my baseband using (fastboot or TWRP) and then directly flash RR 6.0 using the standard full wipe ?
Does that make sense or do I have to take the extra step with the stock ROM ? If so : which version should I install ? 1.9 and then let the OTA do their job ? Will it lock my bootloader again ?
Finally, what step should I take to make this upgrade as easy as possible ?
I am sorry if those questions have been asked lots of time before but I can't figure a clear answer about all of this,

Since you are currently on AEX 4.6, I believe that the offline charging is not working. Even I am on 4.6 and I have tried few Oreo ROMs. I think if you are on 1.76 or 1.70 baseband, you are good to go, flash RR.
Question is do you really want offline charging to work? Personally I'm not going to go through all this hassle for just making the offline charging work. I have been using AEX 4.6 without offline charging for a long time and I don't care if my future ROM has it or not.

Thank you for clearing my doubts.
I flashed RR, went smoothly, everything seems to work as planned except for the camera : I do not have the HDR option, and I think a lot of options are missing. Do you have any ideas about that?
As you said offline charging is still not working, and I do not really care neither.
EDIT: Alright, I installed "Arnova's Pixel2Mod v6" and I now have a working camera. Do not mind my question. I also noticed that you posted the link (on another thread) where I found the Camera mod, so thanks again for your help!

Using GCam? HDR option should be working, try the recommended one's from here: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/
Slow motion is not working. If you have dark video issue, use OnePlus 5T Cam.

Here is a little feedback after ten days of usage :
My camera started acting up : usually when going through the camera's gallery the application will crash. I will try another Gcam.
I also noticed that my calls are not working. I can dial someone but when they pick up the call we cannot hear each-other. Does anyone have experienced this kind of situation ?
Everything else is working smoothly, better than under AEX 4.6, sadly with those two main problems I may have to try something else.
