My timezone is Currently Central European Summer Time (CEST), UTC +2.
A strange effect on my phone is that the GPS time thinks it is one hour earlier. I tried to clear the cache by doing a AGPS reset. Several GPS apps could help me, but the issue isnt solved.
Does anyone has the same issue and knows the answer?

There is a solution, sort of. After the wintertime is set, the hour difference is eliminated. No real solution, but then Sony's technicians know where to search

Hi everybody, I'm having this problem since last week. My weather and my Location keep showing that I'm in Overveen (Netherland) but actually I'm in Hanoi (Vietnam). This is f*cking annoying as my weather lockscreen always show the weather in Overveen. I had tried a lot of stuffs like do a full wipe and reflash or take the battery out for 10-20 seconds and the turn te phone on. After a few research, I think that the problem is comming from my Wifi Router, so I tried to add my MAC address to "Skyhook" but still no luck. Any Ideas guys? Thankz

I had a similar problem a long time ago with one of my apps.
Fortunately, all I had to do was invert the GPS coordinates. As for your problem I'm not sure. Check the agps settings, or wipe them to force gps to get your location.
Or try another ROM, see if you can repeat the problem.

It looks far more complicated than it actually is. All you are doing is creating a new location (yours) in the db. Sense ROMs only, though.

Well I have found out that my Wifi Router is the problem. And unfortunately I don't know anything about db, to be honest I'm a noob

i have gps issue. I am using viperdhd 2.1.3. I tried almost everything. Changed ntp server to my country or europe, tried redownload a-gps data and i also tried gps fix in dhd general forum (i mean the procedure with opening the led casting). Before that manuall process, i saw only 1 satalite in GPS test app, after that procedure 0 satalites found...I dont want to have my GPS dead, i hope some of us can tell me some new advice or something about that. Try flashing a new radio, that should help you out.
Its not radio problem. I tried older and nothing, than the newest and still nothing. i supose it's hardware problem.
My DHD had contact probs at the gps-antenna.
Your found the contacts under the foro-led-cover. Clean and slightly bend up and now it's ok again.

I have exactly the same problem i have tried lots of roms/radios/kernals, i have had the gps antenna rewired and tried wire glue and have even taken the phone apart and checked all the contacts but no joy still. its not worked for over a year now.
I'm just glad my shiny new experia z is coming this week!

so has mine, it has not worked for over a year now i have tried every method/mod/patch/radio i can find, ive give up on it now and have come to the conclusion it is hardware related it is not finding any satellites at all

Sv: GPS issue
I have a strange GPS problem. GPS finding sats but takes long time to set location. My GPS is set to Europe via GPS fix app (faster fix I think the name is) and agps updated.
Tested wipe dalvik and cache. Problem still there.
Venom 2.1.3 full wipe clean install.

Suddenly, my phone is not able to get a fix on the gps fast. It takes up to 10 minutes for it to start getting the position accurately. I did a quick research here in the forums but wasnt able to diagnose the issue. Anybody relate?

make SURE you have it set to "high acuracy"

It is. The weird thing is it used to work well. But now it wont, I even tried a kdz flashing. I think it might be an hardware issue. Gonna try the app anyway
I have the same problem. Also when I have fix I get signal loss when stuff like trees or high buildings are around. Started like a couple of weeks before. Different kind of good tools and agps data didn't really work. I hope it will be fixed soon . I am on dutch branded t mobile device. Firmware version is weird number but I guess its around 10g/10h. No idea how to fix.

Hi,
I'm with the A50 for 3 weeks now. In the last couple of weeks I have a very annoying problem. A few times a day (sometimes 5-6) the phone disconnects from the wifi network and turns off the Bluetooth with no apparent reason.
When this happens the Bluetooth is actually turned off (not just disconnects). When I try to reconnect to a wifi network, I cannot (no response from the phone, although it does recognize available networks) and also the Bluetooth cannot be turned on at all.
The only way out of this is to switch to flight mode and back. That resolves it and everything goes back to normal. Then it can happen again in a few minutes or a few hours.
Anyone have an idea what's going on before I throw this phone away?
I thought I'm the only one facing these issues (in my case its not as frequent but its there). I also noticed that when changing EAP settings in certain wifi coneections, the settings app just force closes. Contacted customer support and they recommended doing a factory reset!
There is a big problem on this part of the smartphone, I encounter a problem with bluetooth and the wifi tends to cut also by now, but it returns to normal without going through the airplane mode for me.
I do not know if it's a hardware or software problem, but I think I'll return the smartphone to Amazon and go back to my S7 Edge

I did a factory reset, in my case, nothing changed, I just lost my time doing it yesterday

Can also confirm. Finished a factory reset now and I still face the same issue with the FC on changing EAP setings. Wifi keeps dropping. Unfortunately mine was bought from mediamarkt about 8 weeks ago. I'll contact the customer support again and see what they recommend.

What I observed: when I switch off 2.4 wifi ( or "forget" all known networks so the phone does not connect ) then BT connection with watch works perfectly.
Strangely enough when I am connected to 5 GHz wifi BT seems to work OK.
So in my case: BT and 2.4 GHz wifi running together causes problems
As I saw in May update Samsung declares fix for wifi performance.
Let's see what happens
I don't know about bluetooth issue but I do have wifi issue, sometimes the wifi is not working so I have to turn it off and on again to fix it

I just spoke to Samsung Germany today and they told me they are aware of this problem and it should be fixed with the next update and that they are working hard to get out until the end of the month. At least some hope.
I thought I was going crazy with my bluetooth problems... Glad to know samsung knows about this... thanks for info all

Also got the May patch. Unfortunately changing EAP method in wifi still force closes the settings app.

All my problems were fixed after that update. I have no disconnections for a few days now!
I confirm. After May update all BT and WiFi problems are gone.
Strange issue with Wi-FI and Night Mode
Hi there,
I'm on the latest May '19 update with my A50 (A505FN) and just discovered a very strange issue: when Night Mode is enabled, I can't change advanced settings on WiFi connection, or the Settings app will crash as soon as I tap on the "IP Type" or "Proxy" option.
If I disable Night mode, then everything works fine and I can successfully change the above settings.
Think this is a SW bug...
Did someone experience the same behaviour?

Hi guys,
During the navigation on Google Maps, my displayed position is about 100mt or few seconds back from my real position. I noticed the problem increase when I turn.
I have a S20 Ultra snapdragon version. I used Maps for almost a year without any issue.
I restarted the phone. Cleared Google Maps cache and data. Reset the compass. Reset the GPS and downloaded the new data thru GPS Status app.
What else can I do?
I'm really getting lost.. in all the ways.
Do you think is a software or hardware issue?
Any help is really appreciated.

I just spoken with Samsung, after a GPS test they said me that it's an app issue and that my GPS is working fine. I'm not sure about that..
I hope someone already solved this problem.

Nothing. I downloaded and tested another app.. exactly the same problem.. must be a samsung problem. I hope a software problem that can be fixed with an update.
Sometimes it happens to work, i would say 1/5 times. I just installed the may patch hopefully that fixes some things.
