On 26s after build.prop modification phone bootloops.. is this modification work only on 20s? Anyone tried in other builds?

I want to install a kernel module on Galaxy S. My kernel version is 2.6.35.7-I9000XXJVP. Am not sure if this is a stock kernel/ rom. Is it a stock?
I think the problem is module loading/ unloading is not enabled in the default kernel, how to enable this option? will puling the current .config, enabling module support option and pushing back will work? can this harm the device?
what is the best(easiest) way to achieve kernel module installing support?

I'm currently working on kernel sources from samsung to make my first kernel for galaxy s 4 mini.
as i tested these days, wifi module is changed from new released firmwares. im currently using MH1 firmware.
i compiled wlan.ko module from source but no succeed to getting wifi working.
could someone please upload prima_wlan.ko file from MF7 firmware?

Is there a custom kernel for Verizon m7 with init.d support? I'm trying to use the script for changing the white balance file for the OV camera but its not supported on Nusense7. Otherwise, can someone build out a kernel with the M8 awb file included? The firmware for 5.0.2 didn't fix it for me. The m8 version isn't perfect but its a lot better. It just a pain re-fixing it every reboot.
I'm on the H81010e version with ATT. I have not updated to any newer images based on this PSA (http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/psa-warning-try-to-downgrade-g4-t3197675) to prevent an increment to the anti-rollback setting with the hopes of a bootloader unlock/exploit. However, it would be nice to take advantage of some of the patches in the newer builds, particularly the stagefright fixes. Has anyone extracted the files we need to manually patch? Could we use flashfire for this? Could we simply just overwrite the old files?
Since Nextbit has stubbornly decided that the Robin will not officially support Robin, I must turn to custom roms to properly make use of the hardware in this phone. To that end, I have been having difficulty locating a rom with the necessary GPU libs to support Vulkan, and I am not ready to experiment with patch zips. Can anyone provide a list of roms they know include it?
