Like i said, i bought it from local store man. No branding on box. Just labeled "nano glass screen protector". It's noticeable thin any other glass screen protectors.
But, this case i mentioned in first post came with screen protector like I'm using right now. Highly recommended.

Honestly why would you get gorilla glass screen in the first place if you want to put on some plastic on it?
Gorilla glass has enough scratch protection and if you plan to abuse your phone then this is not the type of phone in the first place. The film type screen protectors drop protection has always been controversial and questionable.
It's like getting a new car and putting some clothes on it to not scratch the paint and to not chip the windshield...

It's the question of "refreshness". You put $2-3 glass on top of Gorilla (which is not so scratch-resistable in fact) and trash it after 3-5 month, got new glass and fresh new screen. In case of no protector the only option you have is new LCD assembly at $50? (or fake china "compatible" LCD with poor colors and backlight). According to the fact that 3-layer glass (original gorilla+silicone adhesive+protective glass) will be definitely stronger comparison to LCD only, that's the reason to choose.
But i agree with you, >$200 phone is not the price you'll have to put a case in a case while in carrying pouch to protect it like a treasure.

I got the same case. Very nice quality. The only thing I don't like is the rough inside surface. Hopefully it won't scuff the back of the phone. It also seems slightly thicker than my other plain black case.

Got the same case good quality. Cloth back solves the problem that the bare phone is SUPER slippery and will slide off a perfectly flat surface.

Thanks but people giving 5 stars are paid by sellers. If you check reviewers profile you can see that they have reviewed many products 5 stars for same seller. :/ Anyway i bought screen protector from Mi store at 129rs.

It's better to go for offline stores for tempered glass.For backcover u opt for KAPAVER Case , which offers a good amount of protection against accidental falls(available in Amazon & Flipkart India)

if you have mi shops there I would check them out. However if you are from a western country you have to insists on online shops (in case someone needs this information) nobody has screen protectors for xiaomi phones here

I also live in India and there mi homes in my city and in local market also there is huge range of covers and glasses I whould also recommend to go in local market in normal conditions but the original one is good and cheap so......

I have used Tempered Glass protectors for all my phones in the past and I can tell you a difference between the expensive and cheap ones is in the adhesive type used.
In my experience 99% of the tempered glass from aliexpress are those of the cheap adhesive type.
They come off pretty easy, sometimes even after a few weeks/months on its own.
The one which are more expensive have adhesive that "hardens" over time and will reach maximum hardness after one week. Those are hard to get off.
I've contacted the brand which I have made best experience with when it comes to 9h tempered glass.
They told they have already planned one for the redmi note 5 and their product will be available starting next month on amazon. They will even send me a notification mail once it gets live.
I will link it here once I get it.

How is touch responsiveness with hard glass installed ? It is much worse ? My dad had one installed on Galaxy S7 Edge and since I saw him touching multiple times on one spot because screen wasn't responding I became very scepticall about hard glass

Its pretty good, I have the one with the black edges, apart from the fact that it cuts the screen a bit, I can't even notice that its there

The thing is you don't need 9h tempered glass as your tempered glass is more strong then your phone glass if you throw your phone the phone screen will crack leaving the tempered glass with no damage ,I will recommend buying the glass which is lower in hardness scale then your phone's glass as when tempered glass breaks it absorbs the force so better protection for you phone.

If the screen protector cracks first, it absorbs and disperses more of the impact force within itself...
Shouldn't matter that much in practice, these protecters aren't really gonna be 9h...

Oneplus 7 Screen Protectors?

Are the Oneplus 6T screen protectors compatible with the Oneplus 7? I mean is there any change in screen display size and shape, the screen bezels? The thing is there aren't any good options yet for the Oneplus 7 yet. So if the screens are the same, guess I can use 6T screen protectors with Oneplus 7. Which ones are you using for your Oneplus 7?

Agree with you, miss at least 2 millimeters on the edges! (i am French !)

This is what I have on my screen currently.
It's as full as you can get it but you have to add some sort of liquid around the edges once applied and then the next day it looks fine.

Whitestone Dome makes a full-screen liquid adhesive tempered glass screen protector for the Oneplus 7 Pro. It's pretty sweet.
I personally think their screen protectors work great. They are a bit pricey, but so are the other big-name brands... At least they give you a limited lifetime warranty so you can replace it multiple times if you drop it and it cracks.
It is even 20% off right now for another day or two.

Guys what is the best screen glass for OP7?

I ordered a SUPTMAX screen protector from Amazon. It said it was for the one plus 7 but it doesn't have full glass coverage. But something is better then nothing.

Nope! Cover as same as OnePlus 7 comes with pre applied plastic flim!

Are you guys taking off the factory screen protector? I switched out to a SuperSheildz and it is definitely not as responsive as the other one. It's almost like there is a thin layer of air.

Very easy to install due to the frame it comes with, plus a spare if you **** up. It's no expensive whitestone dome that everyone goes gaga over, and as reviewers mention there's a prism effect on the edges, but it's many leagues better than the factory fitted plastic thing. Fingerprint seems fine as well after re-registering, I've had a couple of misses but had one or two before.

I think the reason why we do not have a lot of screen protectors for this phone yet is because of the covid-19 epidemic at the moment... I have bought TPU because the goto glass one from T-Mobile has a dark circle over the fingerprint reader and it's an eyesore also it just has edhesive around the edges... I think Zagg has one out now it's on T-Mobile's website for $44... other than that the only ones I found come from China and I am not waiting a month without a screen protector

Have you found a case that is compatible with the ultimate shield? It's so good that it covers the edges perfectly, but now my cases aren't getting a good grip on the curved sides.

I was going to get a screen protector from T-Mobile since I needed one quick...but yeah $44 is insane

i ordered an ultimate shield also after trying the superguardz tpu. the superguardz doesnt fit the screen properly. if feels tacky or soft and will show a mark if you use something hard like your fingernail. theres a hole where the front camera is and it doesnt line up that well either.

So no OEM one from OnePlus for the 8?

The Tamoria is crap. Speaker cut-out is too small and way off-centered.

Pretty much BS that OnePlus didn't make an official screen protector for the OnePlus 8. I have a plastic one on and it sucks

Yeah, it is exactly that one. Matter of fact I dropped my phone getting out of the car one day and it just popped right off. I tried to put it back on, but two days later it finally broke. When I get the new one in I'm going to use some reason from a previous phones screen protector to put it on. Then I think I'm going to cancel the insurance, cause it really is a crappy protector..lol

Can you remove the screen protectors that use UV activated adhesive?

Is the Ultimate Shield UV one compatible with the OEM Oneplus cases? I ordered an UV one from aliexpress but that was two months ago and the plastic thing it came with is starting to get annoying.

Update to my theory..
So I told you when I got my replacement screen protector from T-Mobile I was going to use some resin I had left over from a screen protector from my s10 plus. It worked GREAT!! I applied the protector normally, but really made sure to work that fingerprint spot onto the phone. Then I took the little tube of resin and just took off one end. Then went around the edge of the screen with the open end while squeezing the tube genty till I filled in the whole gap. Then used the UV light to dry it, wiped off the excess, and then hit it with the light one more time. Worked perfectly. I had already ordered this case from amazon which has an optional plastic screen protector built in. So it has has two front plates. One with the protector, and one without, just in case you have your own. Threw the phone in that thing and its fits perfectly on doesn't bother the glass screen at all. Would definitely recommend this combo for the ultimate protection with no drawbacks.

Yes, I've used them for about two years, and never had a problem getting them off. Just lift from one corner. It might start breaking, but that's fine, just move to another corner.

I have searched and searched on aliexpress. I just can't make up my mind. Sometimes there are no reviews and sometimes reviews are not good. Sometimes there's this hole thing in place of fingerprint scanner.

May be hydrogel ones do cover the screen well. I ordered one from AliExpress. Should see how it goes when it arrives

Bonjour,
I've bought a screen protector on Ali express and received it yesterday, It has no hole for the fingerprint, it's glued to the phone by a liquid that solidify with UV rays, it covers the all screen, and It has no disgusting black edges !
As long i tested it, i can day that it's note bad, no bubbles, and the fingerprint reader is working as well as before.
I found it on a thread on XDA for the Mi note 10 lite ...
I also discovered that Huawei P30 Pro's screen protector could do the job (the two devices has the same screen according to some versus).

I am already using a custom cut hydrogel and it's been good for scratch prevention and gaming.

Thanks for the information. I will agree it's quite expensive compared to the other options in the aliexpress. Some reviews are good. Some state there's still small gap at the edge and it starts peeling off after some days. Please update us with your experience after some usage ?. Thanks

this is the best tempered glass i ever tried.. not on this phone only.. on every phone... its like there is no tempered glass on phone just the screen.. ultra clear.. not easy to get dirty with fingerprints.. it just need 5 min with uv and its ready

Hi, what about removing that glass, is it dangerous for the screen when removing glass, does it leave glue residu ?

After a few weeks , I can say I'm not disappointed, however there's still bad news...
The screen protector does not fit with the case boxed with the phone, some bubbles started appearing at the edge (it's not really visible but it's there)...
This screen protector still cover the entire screen and fit really well on the device !
I think with a new case there will not be anymore problems with it ¡

I have removed other brands with same uv light very easy.. not even glue on screen left..

I work in retail, and with curved screens, only uv glue glass protectors are usefull here

Hello..any News for the Tempered Glasses that are used here? I will use the Phone with a case so the glass must hold when in case and not peel off on the edges...oh and i dont like it when i always see the fingerprint sensor area. Have seen some Photos from such glasses and they have all holes or an always visible ...thingie in the area. What about the 2 from here?
I am so afraid the screen brokes when my Phone falls with only a soft tpu protector

You could try those hydrogel protectors. But they would only protect the screen from scratches.
