That's because Huawei introduced this feature as a security reminder. Once every 3 days, it'll be asked you to input your pw, in way to "help" you remind it.
Here's the full changelog about that update, there should be other features too.
"This update adds a new split-screen key to WhatsApp message banners. It lets you enter split-screen mode with a single touch, without having to leave a video in full-screen viewing.
Adds a new split-screen function. You can swiftly split the screen to check your WhatsApp messages by touching the split-screen key when you are watching a video. Adds the Recently deleted album in Gallery that retains deleted photos and videos for up to 30 days. Accidentally deleted photos and videos can be restored with a single touch. Adds a security procedure that requires you to enter your lock screen password every three days, helping you to remember your password.
Optimizes Camera performance for faster shutter response, and a smoother experience overall. Integrates Google security patches released in Mar 2018 for improved system security."

Not yet. But should be there within 5-6 days.
It will have following features
1) Proper Portrait mode without zoomed up pictures. ( In beta 28.4.18, We can change with a toggle in the viewfinder. )
2) Oreo 8.1 with April patches.
3) Full screen gestures.
4) Better RAM management and battery life ( Thanks to Oreo)
If I missed anything, I'll add. Early may is the expected time frame for stable OTA. Most probably will be 9.5.8 or 9.5.12.

It will. So far only leaked nightly builds are there for RN5 Pro.
It might get released tomorrow on Monday, 7th may!
New update coming soon for Nova 3i. the update is INE-LX2 8.2.0.133.
changelog:
-malaysia gps fix
-gesture navigation
-probably the latest security patch also
If you want to download the OTA you can find it using Firmware Finder.
make sure you Check Firmware Access before downloading the OTA. since it wont install if you dont have any access to the update.
I havent tested it since I dont have access to it yet. HUAWEI SUX.
How was your experience using Super Night Mode?
For me, It works fine. I dont take pictures often specially at night. Still usable though during the day if you want to use it since the range of iso and shutterspeed is wide.
But it would have been better if huawei included the gesture navigation also.
I have not get the update yet
I got the gesture navigation update along with the super night mode on my nova 3
When Indian Nova 3i will get this update?
I have updated but no super Night mode in my Nova 3i INE-LX1 8.2.0.131(C185) November update

Got an update today which removes super night mode from almost 2 months ago and replaced it with standard night mode.
I have the update , got it couple of weeks ago but did not see any "super night mode" even though the update details still showing something about brilliant night scenes with out tripods and something like that.

Super night mode doesn't exist any more it was phased out and renamed night shot or night mode depending on region, super night mode was there out of the box and about a month to 2 months ago depending on region rebranded to night mode/shot but functions the same.
When navigation gesture will be available for ine-lx1

I wouldn't say that, I mean it maybe out of beta but further versions are being pushed out by the looks, 162 is on server but still not available here yet..
Using version 9.0.1.156 has fixed all the lagging and the camera not working. Been out of beta build for over a month almost 2 now in Australia.
The Galaxy A50 got the June security update in India earlier this week, promising the usual stability improvements along with a variety of security patches. But as we’ve been tipped by one of our readers via Twitter, the update appears to include a couple of extra features that go by unmentioned in the changelog. Specifically, firmware version A505FDDU2ASF2 seems to bring along Night mode and Super Slow-mo video recording. In addition to that, the phone can now scan QR codes from the camera app without requiring Bixby Vision, a feature that recently came to the Galaxy S9, Galaxy Note 9 and the Galaxy S10 as well.
Galaxy A50 owners in India who have updated to the June security patch but don’t have access to these two new camera features should try resetting their camera settings. This was also the case for the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A40, which received a regular slow-motion camera mode through a software update and required a reset of the camera settings before the mode was actually usable. You can reset camera settings by opening the camera app, tapping the gear icon to open camera settings, then hitting the Reset settings option found by scrolling all the way to the bottom.
The update also includes fixes to a variety of vulnerabilities; some found in the Android operating system while others are affecting Samsung’s own software experience. You can read all about them in the detailed June 2019 security patch report.
Readers who have not yet received the update on the Galaxy A50 in India should try navigating to the Settings » Software update menu and tap the Download and install option. Otherwise, users can also download the update manually from our firmware database and update the smartphone using Samsung Smart Switch on a computer.
Super slow-mo video? What's that, because we already have slow-mo now.

It doesn't matter if he copy pasted the link, atleast he shared it before you even stated about the link. You don't always have to bang on, peace out.
Btw, this update also brings super steady mode in video recording, which is a great feature to have.
( You'll need to reset the camera to get nightmode, Super slo mo & Super steady video as suggested )
There's also a new metering mode added in pro mode, Not sure if it was there previously!
Wifi calling toggle is also added in notifications bar.
Can't fine the Qr code scanner toggle in the notification bar.
Cheers

There is a reason why every online article attributes the source. All I requested him to do was to include the source link as it is copyrighted content and there are limitations to how much of the content you can copy-paste as-is without ownership.
Also, I posted about the firmware release 7-8 hours before this post in the Official Samsung firmware thread as I don’t want to create a new thread for every release. I wanted to share the new camera features with proof of what it does and hence didn’t create a thread about it.
For those interested in night mode, you can check a sample of it here.

O you'll be shocked that Gadgets ndtv, gsm arena etc all have the exact same post, btw software update info wouldn't be claimed under copyright anyhow.
Night mode seems to be good, though a bit grainy it seems. Super steady mode which is added also seems a great feature.
Got any clues about qr code scanner in the notification panel, as mentioned in the post, I'm not seeing one! ?
Added landscape night shot for a good measure

Haven't checked it yet, but with this release the QR scanner has been integrated in the camera app, so like iOS you just need to point the camera at a QR code for it to open a page. Earlier, it could only be done through Bixby Vision.

I knew the bixby thing, So it's confirmed that Qr code is integrated in the Camera app itself unlike what the leak suggested it to be in the notification panel.
So just wifi calling is added in the NP, good !

I always get a video of 8s 333ms with a bitrate of 11.5 Mb/s and a size of 11.5 MB. The minimum and maximum framerate is 30 as displayed in MediaInfo in my case. However, since Samsung advertises the Super Slow-mo as 960 fps for 0.4s on S10 and 0.2s on the S9, 480 fps for 0.4s on the A50 sounds more in line with what Samsung wants to achieve.
Update: Okay, it seems your values are from the edited portion of the super slow-mo video. I got a minimum rate of 14 and a maximum rate of 616 which constantly changes depending on the part of video edited and the lighting conditions. The average framerate for the super slow-mo section is 480 fps which is what is advertised by Samsung.

Hi all.
Yesterday, I've got Android 10 on my Moto One Vision (Brazil Variant). But my wife and friends with he same device did not get it yet.
I"m wondering if the release is already official, or only for MFN members? I did register there, but did not receive any survey or anything like that yet (Like it happened with my old Moto G5 Plus).
Did anyone else got the update? If yes, how's your experience with it?
Can you post some screenshots of the version number etc?
I can't upload a screenshot right now, since i'm at work, and uploads are not allowed in the internal network (Sry). But below is the info on the About screen:
Android Version: 10
Android Security Patch Level: November 1, 2019
Google Play System Update: 2019-11-01
BaseBand Version: S337AP_KANE_SGCS_QB2594168
Kernel Version: 4.14.113-g0d0c343-dirty #1 Mon Nov 11
Build Number: QSA30.62
So far, it's been a good update.
Dark theme is great, also, the notifications are a lot better on this one (Divisions between Active and Silent Notifications, as well as the ability to "Seek" the music playing in Spotify via the notification itself).
Gestures navigation were weird in the first hour using them, but now, they make a lot of sense, and "feels natural" somehow.

I hope and expect the final release to come in mid/late December. Would be a nice X-Mas gift
I'm from Brazil and I was not subscribed to mfn, I received the update yesterday, it's very good, very fast screen transition, but the app openings are a little slower, but I only have compliments so far, I'm finding it very good
Maintenance Release Notes for December says nothing about Android 10 but I guess we have to wait to be sure. Maybe they update pie first, then Android 10 at the end of the month.
Would be nice if it's stable enough to be released before the end of the year
