Your best bet is to post this question within the following Official LineageOS thread for your device.

I don't think, this S3 specific. So I answer in general forum.
You could try an extension for quick settings like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gunny.bunny.tilemedia
Or, Button Mapper to assign the function to another h/w button:

Didn't work for me.
The screen recorder function seems to have been removed from current fw. There are at least a couple of threads in the general forum about this.
As for taking screenshots it might have to be enabled in Settings, under Movement. That's the method I use. See attached screenshot.

Removed even from the New N7100OXXALJ1 ? are u sure?
No, I'm not sure. That's just what I read in this forum. Plus, can't find the function in my XXALJ1.
Perhaps you'll get better info from the following threads:
[Q] Did samsung remove the screen recorder?
Screen Recorder function
Is the screen recording feature still present?
[Q] How do you activate the screen recorder?
never mind
I use flipcover in Note 2. I really like pick up in-calling by power bottun, not by home button. thanks. if you know any ROM or app solving my question, it is also great.

there used to be an app called Button Remapper for rooted devices but now the Dev has stopped support for JB it was only till GB so need to look around if there is any such app try in play store see if you could find
or you may want to try this

Thank for your support. I search my concerns by google, many people meet the same problem, and so far there is no any solution. anyway I can try to answer in-call by shaking fuction. better than nothing.
I appreciate that someone share with us how to answer incall when using flipcover in note 2. so far I know answer call by touching home key and touching screen.
Does anyone know if there is a built-in 4-way menu like the default: http://i.imgur.com/BmUz8Nz.png . So something like Power off, Airplane, Reboot, Recovery, Download/Odin, et cetera?
I've seen images of them but can't find the files. Thanks!

No, that is what I currently have. You press Power button, then press Restart, and THEN you get the 4 way menu. I want the one where all the options show up after pressing the Power button. Thanks for looking.

I am rooted and I would like to keep the "stock" look and would prefer to mod than to install a program. I was hoping there was an Xposed module or a mod that I could simply flash. I guess once I get my computer back (God knows how long that will be), I'll make the module myself and upload it here. I'll wait to see if anyone has suggestions until then.
Bumpity bump.

Hey,
I bought the device from sgadget.net
The device comes complete and fast
I'm really new with the device I wanted to ask how I make a screenshot?

You can press Power button + Volume Down to take a screenshot
If you're using stock rom, there is an option to hold down Recent Apps button to take a screenshot as well. Just fiddle around in settings.

Hi guys
I was wonderingif someone can tell me if there are any custom roms where the additional hardware button (battery saver) works as intended or has any other function?
Kind regards
Not possible unfortunately. Maybe in future but don't count on it.

Was wondering about that too.
How about more features for the "HOME" button, I see that some ROMs mention "long press / double press (depends on the hardware)" but are these usable on the P2 ? Thanks !
