[Q] Lag ! - Lenovo ZUK Z2 (Plus) Questions & Answers

Hello Guys !
Bought this device about a week ago. unlocked the bootloader while running 6.0 Android and flashed the custom rom (Aex , Jaguar). Everything working fine except one thing which is bothering me a lot. i amm facing lags while using the device. ex. While playing coc game or while surfing on browser or while using phone settings i am experiencing the lags. if anyone else having same issue please let me know and if anyone have solution please help me with this.

Maybe a firmware issue, try flashing the nougat firmware!

If youre device come with a shop rom don't simply unlock it and flash a custom rom - fail number one. If so first flash stock rom with qfil (chinese 1.9.044 ST) and update it with ota to the last (If you want to use a nougat custom rom). Unlock the bootloader, flash custom recovery and then flash the custom rom.

Have you unlocked your bootloader ?
No not too sure how to do that. Any good threads you guys reccomend.
Many thanks
So I know this is scary for you and because it is something new, therefore be sure that you want to live with the responsability if something goes wrong.
Now, the next forum thread tells you how to flash an already rooted image BUT, and this is very important, this works only if you have the version 10c installed (Check in About Phone>Software Version)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/orig-development/root-tmo-vzw-intl-variants-soon-root-lg-t3164765
If you have the latest version of the software (20a) the best thing is to unlock your bootloader, void your warranty in the process, and flash a custom recovery. After that, you just need to flash the SuperSu zip file and you will have root.
To flash custom ROMs, just access recovery and flash the zip file of your ROM.
I'm using the unofficial CM13.0 and works very good for me, but I do miss the official camera app.
Thankyou very much for your advice okarr. Will look into this

Problem after returning to Miui for new modem

Hello,
I just returned to Miui to get new Modem files installed on my phone. I was on RR 5.8. and it was recommended to first install latest MIUI, then install RR 5.8.3 or other rom.
I year ago I flashed TWRP by replacing the recovery.zip in the ROM image. This did not work for me anymore. Of course I could return to old rom, but then I would return to old modem too.
Is there a method to get root or TRWP on my phone without waint 9999 years for official unlock? Even if unlock is granted my experience was that it stucks at 50 %.
Please help me as um stuck at the moment not knowing what to do next.
For additional information just please ask!
Thank you very much!

Reverting from custom ROM to stock causes bootloops

Hi guys,
I have a problem I need some advice for. A year ago, I purchased my Amami for the purpose of GPS-navigation on my bicycle. It always worked fine and I was able to charge it with my dynohub without any issues. The charging is giving me a headache now though, and all troubleshooting points at the phone being the problem.
Now, a couple months ago I decided to ditch 4.4 and go for a custom ROM (I've tried Oreo and Pie) which worked fine, but the phone doesn't charge as well as it used to on my bike. I'd like to go back to stock to see if that's what is causing the issue and used the Xperia Flashtool to revert to a stock image, but the ones that used to work on the phone now give me bootloops after I've flashed TWRP and ResurrectionRemix and Lineage OS.
Is there anything I need to know before I flash a stock firmware with the tool? Any input would be appreciated.
Sounds like to have not updated to Lolipop and therefore you do not have real recovery. Is your bootloader unlocked? Then you can try EMMA to update to Lollipop.

My bootloader is unlocked, I have TWRP installed and am currently running Lineage OS (Android 8). It doesn't matter if I flash Sony's original Kitkat or Lollipop; both will have bootloops. No offense, but I'm not sure you understood my original post: I'd like to go back to an old stock ROM, because 4.4 is the one that I'm sure have me no trouble with charging on my bike.
Proper BL relock:

If you use twrp in fotakernel partition maybe necassary to write back original fotakernel.sin (inside stock.ftf) before relock with flashtool. Remember! After relock with flastool the new BL unlock key here: DEVICESERIAL \ unlock.txt

No IMEI, sim doesn't work after flashing a custom rom

So I'm kinda noob to this, the Situation is that i have my HTC 10 with unlocked bootloader (TWRP 3.3.1-0-) and S-on. I had stock nougat 7.0 but one day i tried to flash a custom rom called Pixel Experience based on android 10, it failed, so i started to search roms and one called crdoid worked! But the sim, imei, etc doesn't work... How can i fix it? Like i've said in the beginning... I don't know to much of this, i've search so much for a stock rom to my device but it seems that my especific model isn't downloadble.
It is 2.24.593.81, I'm from southamerica, if you know can i fix it, please tell me thanks for your time
Try another rom, this is happening because of your rom that you have installed. Change your rom and everything will be ok.

Advice on a very strange problem

Hi everyone, I've been a HTC10 owner for quite a while. When HTC decided to stop updates to Oreo, I decided to unlock the bootloader, flash a twrp and install some AOSP roms, based on Android 10, Android 11 and even Android 12, all found here on XDA. A few days ago I decided to put back the stock rom (with the flash method via sdcard) leaving the bootloader unlocked and S-ON. The flash is successful, the only thing that doesn't work anymore (it's not that it doesn't work, it doesn't detect it at all) is the fingerprint sensor (the option in the settings is missing). This happens both with Rom stock and with Rom on a sense basis. If, on the other hand, I flash a Custom Rom based on AOSP again, the sensor works again in an excellent way. What do you advise me to do? is there a way to flash the stock firmware with the whole rom? Like RUU? I accept any advice. I can do anything, the only thing I don't have is S-OFF.
