Searching does wonders, it also helps you see what else is happening if you have issues.
In case you dont know after installing this, ##775# change PRL. I think you need your msl which there is a app in the market msl reader. you also need to put the prl that you want on there. if you dont have one, search for the prls.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=737594
I did find my prl# with ws and I think I can write or change the prl with ws, but I dont know what to write ?
Please help me. The prl that's installed on my phone won't give me data when I roam. When I dial ##775# I get a weird incomplete call message from Cricket. I'm supposed to have unlimited data while roaming. Now I have no data. I installed 2.3.3. Rooted EVO 4G on Sprint. Prl 01115.
EDIT: Never mind, I re-read what you posted. I had answered incorrectly.
you dont actually get unlimited data when you roam....you get 300mb or 800min...after that sprint will ask you to stop the roaming and soon will discontinue your contract. you get truly unlimited data if you use sprints network

Hey guys. Firstly im sorry about my poor english.
I have a T-mobile T999 s3 that has clone(fake) imei. (Its imei is copied from another old mobilephone)
It is working good with stock rom. But stock rom doesnt have turkish language in it.
I tried to install morelocale and language enabler apps from market but it didnt work.
Then i installed "CyanogenMod 10 Nightly Builds for SGH-T999" (it has turkish language) works good but i cant use 3g or hspda or hspda+ or 4g connections. (i only need 3g cus there is no 4g in turkey now) i tried to choose Only WCDMA-LTE in menu and i lost connection.
So i can only use Edge (2g) connection and its like turtle!
I read solutions of this thread but i didnt understand anything... I think my problem is different
(Note: I cant turn back to original imei because its blocked and doesnt work. so I have to use cloned imei)
(Note 2: Imei number is not 0)
(Note 3: tried another custom roms but didnt work)
What i have to do? Waiting for your helps. Thanks!

yes the location is same and i use same operator so i use same apn setting of my operator. am i doing wrong? what i have to do if im wrong?
it was connecting by 3g and higher speed before injecting fake imei. (with same apn settings) i think injecting imei with box causes that.
i dont know about these boxes that writes imei to mobiles. i just send my mobile to a technical service for imei.
addition: this problem looks like mine in the following link:

I'm not sure about a cloned IMEI but if youve (re)inserted a new IMEI and lost data on the network and the IMEI isnt being blocked, there is a process around that can help to clean QCN file from your NV backup (extracted with QPST) you could PM Motodefier, and he may be able to assist. He helped me out after my 4g LTE was lost when I manually reinserted my IMEI (bit not cloned) and got me back up and running and saved me a lot of hassle, he wont ask for it but make sure you drop a donation if he spends some time on fixing your issue. DEVS GOTTA EAT TOO!!

You should be able to call Sprint to get your MSL without issues.
However those that prefer not to call Sprint can try this method in the link that worked for me. What is great about this method to get your MSL is that it appears to work on the major OEMs of phones like HTC, Samsung, LG, Motorola, etc. If this works for you on the LG G2, maybe you can try to see if it works on the GS4 or HTC One or Moto X if you have one.
Disclaimer: I actually got my MSL from Sprint when I called Sprint to activate my phone so I was able to verify after the fact that this method works below. I was only able to verify it on Windows 7. I don't expect it to have issues on Windows 8 but you never know.

I would like to share that we can only give the MSL number of the phone if the contract is expired, but since the contract is going on for your line so that is the reason we are unable to provide the MSL code from here,. we do not want that you face any sort of issue, I want to help you as much as possible from here. for that I recommend you to please contact our dedicated technical team at 8882114727 and there will be no issue,

Right now the LG G2 by default has the B26 (800 MHz) and B41 (2500 MHz) LTE bands disabled. With your MSL code, you can manually enable these B26 and B41 LTE bands to do some LTE testing.

What are you setting the Priority at?
For those of you have LTE connection issues when in the past LTE worked fine I want to share what I did and it worked. I am not in a Spark area and after getting the update from Sprint I lost LTE connection at work. I previously had LTE a 100% of the time at work. I noticed that a lot of folks on the Sprint forums were having the very same issue. After researching with Sprint to solve my problem (They were no help at all), and the combination of things I read here on xda (I can't find the forum So I take not credit for this) I want to share the solution that worked for me.
1. Call Sprint and obtain your MSL code
2. In the phone dialer enter ##3282#
3. press LTE and enter edit, Enter MSL code
4. Click on LTE, then bands 26 and 41 and disable both of them
5. Phone should reboot and LTE should work as it did before
If someone would be so kind if I can't find the threads on here I would like to link them and give credit were it is due.
I just wanted to share what worked for me.

Just a note if you get a profile or prl update that you did not initiate you will have to turn off bands 26 and 41 again following the steps above.
Disabling bands 26 (800mhz) and 41 (2500mhz) seems counterproductive to the gains that Sprint Spark is supposed to bring. I'm guessing it's probably region specific to those having LTE issues where disabling these bands "fixes" whatever issues you're having (maybe Spark is not fully deployed, etc). I'm not having these LTE issues by the way, and LTE coverage here in NYC has improved to the point that i even get LTE in some underground subway stations.

That's the exact problem, the roll out is far from nation wide. So if you are in a non spark area, the phone constantly seems to search for it. My battery life significantly decreased on ZVC. Once I shut off those bands, my LTE was much more stable and battery life improved greatly.

Need some help guys. I am based in Australia and swapped an iPhone for the Z Fold 3. Went through the usual connection process with my sim and esim whilst connected to wifi. All was well as it allowed calls and received calls when I was home. As soon as I stepped outside my home where it was trying to use the network, it does not work. It keeps saying not registered on network. Tried to manually select network via settings, checked all APN settings from the network and all is ok. Even tried 3 different carrier sims (Vodafone, Optus and Telstra) yet still no matter what this phone will never connect to any carrier network without wifi. From there I tried 3 different firmwares from Sam mobile just in case it had corrupt firmware. Both android 11 and 12 will not work. Need help guys please. Any suggestions?
Did you try calling the carrier or going online to their site and activate the phone? Not from Australia but I think it's worth a try.

Hi there. When I first got my unlocked phone and put in my Verizon sim, it worked right away. However, when I logged on to the Verizon site, it was showing my old phone with the new IMEI and the phone could receive calls but not call out. I called Verizon and asked them to activate which fixed the issue. Can't you call the carrier and ask if they can help you figure out why you can't call when on the cell network?
That is the same error I get here in the States if I try to manually connect to any roaming network (network other than T-mobile, the carrier I use).

It works on T-mobile, but it refuses to connect to any other network, and if I try manually to switch, it gives that same error message you get. Roaming is included in my plan for calls, text, and data, so it is supposed to work, but these phones have issues. I currently have the temporary fix on my phone for the T-mobile issue, so it has stopped flipping to "Emergency Calls Only" and back, but the fix prevents it from seeing other networks now. Whether it is Samsung or T-mobile who has to fix it, it needs to be fixed!
