I am trying to find out if it is possible to get a docking station, I can plug my SGS2 into and listen to the music through some decent speakers from, you know the sort of docking station that Ipod seem to have everywhere...
Is there such a thing for the SGS2 ? I really hope your experience can help me....

The original desk/charging dock has a 3.5mm audio output, so you can plug external speakers of your wish.
You can also try these generic docking stations (you can easily find them on ebay), but i guess the audio quality isn't good...

Hi!
i bought a new GS2 two weeks ago and i bought also the original docking station from samsung.
It is very robust, has the volume button easy available in the same side where there is the power button and it increase the loudspeaker volume...
cons: it allows only to charge it...
no usb data is possible to transfer with it...
it is quite bad because i was wondering to use a dock with the mhlp hdmi video converter... -.-
i will consider a cradle with the two usb un the back: power and data
I am also searching for an docking station, all i found till now looked like crap. What docking stations are you using (pls with pictures).

in my local electronic store i saw a samsung hifi with a microusb dock on it. dont know what the model number is, but you can probably find it on the samsung webpage.
crazyscow, are you thinking about something similar to what iPhones have? As in to control the music from the phone and to send the signaldigitally to a docking station with amplifier and speakers?
I have SAMSUNG Galaxy Nexus HDMI dock, I think that it should work with amps with HDMI input.

I just switched to my LG V20 yesterday and so far, I really like this phone. I came from an LG G3. I really like having the phone in a docking station by my bed at night so I am looking for a combination of docking station and case that work well together. When replying, please include both the case you use and the compatible docking station. Thanks. (FWIW, the XDA community is the best.)
