You can use the app with root permission
"Battery calibration "
The app can reset your battery information.

Or maybe you should get a new battery if it is the original which came with the phone.
Edit: I oversaw you changed already the battery, sorry.

Android Revolution HD 5.1.4 no Battery Stats

Hey there,
Android Revolution HD 5.1.4 is a very good ROM,
but after flashing that Rom,
i cannot open battery history.
When i try to open Battery History with Spare Parts:
it shows:
"Could not find Battery stats activity in your Rom!
Connact developer for more info!"
Can anybody help me?
Without Battery History, i cannot celibrate my battery.
Have you tried going into the directory to find the file? I always use root explorer and go to Data>System and delete the file manually.
If the file exists, there may be a possibility sparepart is not compatible with the rom. It FC when I install it on my phone

Afaik, Spare Parts wasnt fully compatible with gingerbread, maybe it is now, I am not sure, but you should double check that.
Why dont you use the battery history in settings?
tried all
Yeah,
but i`ve the same problems when i type
*#*#4636#*#*
in the phone.
No Battery History.
and batterystats.bin exits in the directory and i deleted it and
reboot, but same problems ...

What do you mean same problem?
Once you delete the file, that should be it. Your battery is calibrated. Of course you need to make sure you are fully charged (0mA current widget) before you delete it. The effect of the calibration can be felt usually after a few cycle of charging. Some even noticed it immediately.
i will try it.
Fully Charged, then delete the file.
Hope that functioned.
Thanks for helping.

As far as I know this still the case with Gingerbread ROMs.

Is that what Recovery > wipe battery stats does? Or does it perform some other function?

That's exactly the same thing
so i fully charged my battery
until current widget showed "0 mA"
i restarted in bootloader and wipe battery stats.
and rebooted, but the same problem still here.
no battery history ...
here a message from a another member:
"Battery History is no longer in Gingerbread Im afraid.
There is an app that replaces it but I cant remember the name. Its in the DHD forum somewhere."
anybody know, which app he means?

Let me get this straight, you want the battery history to do calibration of the battery, correct? The steps you did in the quote is actually battery calibration already, so do you still need battery history?
It is true also that Gingerbread no longer provide battery history. Last time in Froyo I remember to be able to see partial wake etc. But now the only battery usage we can get is from Setting > About Phone > Battery Use

Hey,
It was me who told you that
I was slightly wrong, I meant to say I read it in the DHD forum somewhere. And I did, and I remember now.
It was in the ARHD thread and found the original post where I read it:
here
The app is here if you want to take a look.
My apologies again for slightly misleading you on that!
Thanks a lot for the app link ...

time and date reset !

hi ,
When I remove battery from the phone ,
Time and date resets so I have to set it again !
I also checked the automatic in time and date setting but nothing happened .
is it because of my backup battery ? or it's related to the firmware and stuff ?
I use Arc S LT18i with stock ROM and Kernel ...
I believe its like this on all android phones. If i remove battery quickly and put it back time is normal but if I leave it for a bit time is reset.
seriously ?!
this is ridiculous !
a 20 bucks-ish phone can hold battery when battery is removed !
I haven't had this issue since my Nokia 3210. Certainly my Arc doesn't suffer from it.

battery question

how will i know if my battery is calibrated correctly???
i mean..i flash roms ,maybe 2-6 times in a week..i guess...depending on updates..
doo calibration everytime...(sometimes...calibrated and flash new rom)
how do i know if my batt is correctly calibrated..read somewhere too much calib ruins your batts
well u cant know dat ur battery is calibrated or not.. bt u can improve the accuracy by clearing the battery stats in cwm menu.. try searching for a 3rd party app.. Btw dont be so concerned abt it.. its always correct 99%
when you install a new rom and wipe /data your system is automatically recalibrate your battery. you don't need to do that manually

[Q] [Please Help] Weird battery issues - Xperia Arc

Hello everyone,
I've decided to get help trying to fix my Xperia Arc which has weird battery issues.
I tried so many things trying to fix it that I don't now what to try/where to look for an answer. So, I decided to ask you guys for help.
The problem started this summer, I updated my phone with the official ICS update, and after that, battery life went from average to awful.
I have, at the moment, a battery consumption of around 20% per hour, and it doesn't change whether I'm using the phone or not.
I have tried the following things :
- New battery : same problem
- New kernel rom => Tried different kernels (arcknight/stock ...) and different custom roms => same problem
- Re-locking the bootloader and flashing stock 2.3 => same issue
- Installed software to check what was using the battery : nothing stood out.
So now I don't know what to do, I'm at loss. When I was running custom roms I always remembered to delete the battery stats once the battery was full, didnt help.
Also, I thing the problem is the battery sensor ?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Vincent.

ICS requires you to restart your phone after every time you charge it. Bug in the firmware.
If still dropping too fast - Then it has to be some of your settings, that you use, either a sync or GPS or something.
have you wipe battery stat in cwm?

1.
Revert to stock. Relock your bootloader. Repair phone with pc companion.
2.
Check your battery. Take it out and study it. Is it deformed, swollen or anything?
3. (OPTIONAL)
Clean battery pins on phone and battery with aftershave
4.
Get a new battery
Cheers guys for the answers. I tried everything you guys recommended and yup same problem
I'm sending it in for repairs and hopefully they'll fix it.
