There are some errors in the Forum's device description:
The screen is not FullHD (HD)
There's no 64GB variant, only 32GB
The selfie camera has 8MP
Could anyone correct that? Thanks.

How sure are you about that?
The z1c was a different size for one thing......
Nope they are exactly the same panels behind the front glass bezel with different connecting flexy ribbons.

Well, that's what I meant. The Thread's device descriptions says it's FullHD while it "only" is HD.
Dont forget to list that the camera is a mess from a square shape it will make a pilow shape. Lol sad from a flagship unit. I am really disappointed and will return the phone today morning. Probably finished with sony to.

also, it's a 2700 mah battery, not 2800
You sure there's no 64Gb variant? I saw it on Wondamobile. I email them to see it that was a typo. Will inform when I hear back from them.

Yes XZ1c only comes in one variant: G8441 which is single sim and 32GB.

This is simply not true, at least for the Z1c, which has a 4.3" panel instead of the 4.6" one found in later compact phones.

There are 3 different types of screens for the HoX. Some manufactured by sony, others by acer and the rest by sharp. Maybe that might be the case and there's no actual fix to that. Having experienced two type of screens.
I had the acer screen and my friend had either a sony or a sharp. We never checked, however, i can tell you that both were very nice.
While mine had whiter whites, his had much nicer, vibrant colors. Nothing to be butthurt over IMO.

I ordered one of the generic lenses for phone camera from amazon. These lenses are a good addition but not perfect.
You can check out the sample pictures here
Below is the order in which the pictures where uploaded.
1. Photo using the stock app. No lens,
2. Macro
3. Without Macro
4.Wide Angle
5.Macro
6.Attachment Rings
7.Fish Eye
8. Same subject as image #5 without macro lens
9.Macro
10. TeleZoom
Amazon Link.
I took the photos in Manual Mode with 20MP, Image stablisation On, Average Focus.
Very expensive for what it is, a quick search on Amazon or eBay and you will find much cheaper alternatives.

I saw your link and $19 for something like that is very expensive, you can find similar lens accessories for a lot less.

When I use my friends iPhones or any 720p phones they look very grainy to me. Is it just me or is it because I have gotten used to the QHD display on my G3? I used to think the iPhone screen size was ok...now when I use it it's like a toy, and I have a hard time navigating the screen ?
Also whenever I use the S4 it definitely feels a little more grainy after you get used to the QHD panel. Is anyone else seeing those sideffects. I think my perception quality expectations is out of the roof now...makes me wonder how people claim that a iPhone PPI is more than enough ?
Same here, every smartphone I am looking at looks kinda grainy, it's hard to describe...
The display of my mother in laws Galaxy core something with it's 800x480 4,3" display looks like a crossword puzzle ☺
Frankly even some 720P phones make the iPhone look grainy, the iPhone is one of the lowest DPI phones you can still buy, it doesn't qualify as HD by any definition.
Yup my other phone is iphone 5 and its sh*t compered to g3 my mother huawei g300 that is just ridiculous
Agreed, even the 1080 phones look quite quite grainy. The sharpening and variable quality screens ruin the G3 display though.

I know it makes me think what the hell are the iPhone fans thinking when they say that 300 PPI is more than enough or 1080p is unnecessary. Even the New iPhone 6 4.7 and 5.5 inch models won't have FHD. Totally will look grainy for sure.

Well yeah, I'm just talking about graininess
Not just you, I also have a Moto X and that screen just screams of pixelation.
I'm starting to see old image assets showing their true low definition in apps, live wallpapers, games ect. Luckyily this isnt a 4k phone or it might be more noticable, as is things will only improve for 2k and 4k as time progresses. I can really tell text has lost the jagged edges it had with my old 720p phone which is nice.
Wanted to add it will be strange seeing mobile devices pushing uhd more than most, remember the image quality android and ois started with?

When I say they look okay, I mean they look okay... Not fantastic or anything. I personally like the lg g3 display. It doesn't have that saturated look that Apple pushes with almost all of their displays.
It's more like a Eizo or Ben-q monitor. I guess you just have to work on them for period of time to appreciate it..
Some folks will dislike the output and some will make the necessary color adjustments to the device. I have colleagues who have looked at footage or hi res pictures on my device and they like the output..
YMMV

The S4 and G2 displays are sti some very nice displays buddy. R2member they are still 1080p display.
With the galaxy s series phones you can calibrate the screen really good. On my issue is screen burn in.
The g2 to me is an okay display. The s4,wasn't something I cared for display wise. I still have my G2. I never noticed screen burn in with my g2
I tried using my calibrator on my g2 and I failed!!
When the new devices drop, it will be the same issues. The iPhone will have glue issues like they always. People will complain about the note 4 display until a few updates come out, and people will talk about the moto's radio more than anything else. The N6 will be buttery smooth , and that will be the sticking point for most with each particular device..
Power consumption concerning the higher end displays will be interesting with these devices..

What's also interesting will be if these displays actually change after being used for a while. My tv needed X amount of burn in time before the calibrator came out and to my place and did some adjustments to the tv.
If anyone can expound on if that is the case with these displays that would be interesting to get some source material on and read up on the subject.

LCD displays do in fact cure over time. They just like everything else typically take time to burn in.

hi guys,
for the Z5 Premium owners or the others who can give an advice... please which is the best and worth to have more than the other... The Z5 Premium or the regular Z5 ??
can you guys share with your experiences with Z5 Premium, the cons and pros ?
anything necessary before i take the decision whether i get a Z5 Premium or the Z5
thanks for any advice provided.
The main thing that you will notice day-in and day-out is the screen size. I prefer the larger screen and the fact it is 4K on the Z5 Premium. Other than that they are identical (excluding price obviously).
It's purely preference on the screen that should sway it IMHO.

*shrugs* whatever floats your boat. The looks aren't as important as functionality for me, but to each their own.
(I also think I prefer the smoked glass effect on the Z5 to the Z5P's glossy finish! )

Even gold looks better on Z5P. It's more glossy and looks more premium. Sure, it catches smudges like nothing else, but totally worth it if you have the money.

@NJ72
yeah, i know, that's right... also @KbaB.BroS i held the Premium in Gold in my hands, compared it to the regular and WOW it does looks far better, and i like it more for it's size and also the display is much sharper and the blacks in it more better than the regular Z5....
i'd go for the Chrome because I love it more than the Gold, (both looks awesome thou) but i didn't have the chance to hold in my hand!
also, i'd like to buy the mono sim card support, but the problem in my country they only sells the dual sim cards versions.... can you tell me please if you have any idea which is better the mono sim card or the dual one... and except of that key difference between them! do you think there should be preferences that makes one better than the other?
thanks for the advice :good:
I have the dualsim premium in black actually. Wasnt a fan of the flashy chrome or gold. Also put a black devilcase bumper on it so by now it doesnt matter what color the z5p frame is. But I was at disney world and realized t-mobile service is practically non existent at the park and having my sim 2 with at&t really saved my bacon during the trip.
I chose the Z5P Chrome so i could count my nose hairs.
And in case i get lost in my front yard i can use it as a reflector beacon to signal for rescue.
And when i finally brick it, which is bound to happen, i can tie it to a stick,
and use it as a snow shovel, a spatula, and a fly swatter.
Guys can any body tell me how i can search messges? In message app if i write any name in the search i could find any one.
I was at an orange store to look at the HTC 10, bc i'd like to buy one soon. I've seen that their phone had 16 seconds of exposure time.
The reviews on YouTube show that it has only 2 seconds.
