[Q]Changing digit grouping in stock dialer/ phone

To be more explicit I'll add 2 screenshots. The first one is how the dialer breaks up the phone numbers

and in the second screenshot is how I would like to be. On my other phones the problem was easy to solve using Morelocale 2 app, but now it doesn't solve anything. The numbers are shown like that also in Contacts.
Is there any other way in solving this problem?

heh.. I do not like samsung dialer grouping too :silly:

Today I spoke with someone from Samsung Support Romania...their answer was that disabling digit grouping is not possible. On my SGS3Mini that was possible using Morelocale2. On SGS4Mini I tried granting permisions via ADB and SuperSU and nothing changed in dialer / contacts. Changing from phone settings language to Romanian changes also nothing, although the ROM is for Romania. Maybe one of the developers takes a look at this thread and offers a solution?
Before dialing a number, one can delete the spaces resulted following digit grouping.

The disabling of digit grouping should be possible, however the phone has to be rooted.
The digit grouping is controlled by CSC setting and you can change it by editing the others.xml file found in /system/csc/ folder.
Just add this line to the file:
<CscFeature_Common_DisablePhoneNumberFormatting>TRUE</CscFeature_Common_DisablePhoneNumberFormatting>
Restart the phone and you grouping should be gone.

Then i will give you a simple methods to solve it by yourself, I think it will be helpful for you
How to change the volume?
1. Dial number: * # * # 3646633 # * # * or * # 15963 # * to enter engineer mode. (Warninglease be careful !! dont touch any other settings if you dont know about those).
2. Choose "Audio", "Normal Mode",
3. Change the type to Sph, In screen shot its adjusted to 160 maximum,
4. after that press set to save,
5. finally turn the Level to Level 5, click OK and restart the phone.
6. (If the speaker can bear, you can try turn the Level to 6).

Use of macros to launch actions through Contacts (by call)

The main idea is to call a fake contact which triggers the previously configurated actions.
Steps to configure it:
1- Create the contact
2- Add it to favorites from Huawei Health
3- Create the action
(I used MacroDroid, in this case the Trigger is Dialing the phone number and the action is Plugin Locale / Tasker> Yeelight
4- I am still watching how to automatically hang up the call

We will have up to 10 contacts (10 actions, in principle) assigned to invented numbers.
For those who have enough smart devices at home, this is surely good news. You spend less time, you don't have to go and get the phone, and also you feel that your GT 2 is a little less limited.
Let's hope Huawei integrates a keyboard, note manager (text and voice), besides the ability to answer messages or interact with notifications.
In the meantime, I think this method can play a good role.
