[Q] US Cellular RUU

I am trying to unroot my HTC Desire CDMA from US Cellular. After trying a few custom roms I decided I liked what I had and I want to go back to completely stock 2.1 with HTC Sense. I want clockworkmod removed and the superuser app removed but I can not find a RUU for the CDMA US Cellular version of this phone. Anyone know where to find it?
It hasn't been released as far as I know

[Q] 4g on virus kindom

Can somebody tell me how can I get 4g on the new virus room kingdom
I flash 3 times and say 4g is unable
Which version did you flash? It's all over the development forums that the B1.1 Kingdom does not have 4g working correctly. Virus is working on it as we speak. However, the B1 Kingdom, which I am running now, has the 4g working flawlessly.
Where can I get that room you have. Is the new on xda
Where can I download the B1 ROM? There was only a download available on the thread was B1.1. This sucks because I have to download the ROM on my phone all over again which took over an hour. My data speeds are crap.
I believe the only way to find the ROM now is to go over to the Android Development forum and go into the Kingdom post, it's on the front page, and search for the link or ask for it. I saw it a few pages back from the last page, but I can't remember which one. Someone put it on megaupload I believe
I think I read that it might also be on virus' website. I don't know the url off hand but you should be able to find it on the first post in that thread.

Thats the link where you can get B1 at. Good luck!

[Q] Custom ROMs and international APNs

I travel more than average and prefer to insert a local SIM card whenever I land so as not to get ripped off, which is one of the reasons I bought a SIM free desire.
I want to put custom ROMs on it but am concerned that they might not have the international APN settings. The last phone I put custom ROMs on was WM5 and the ROMs didn't have this feature.
So....
Will the customs come with this ?
If some don't how do I tell if it's available on a specific ROM and is there a way to add if it's not ?
Thanks for any help
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A
Thanks.
Anyone got ideas on this one ?
Nobody knows anything about this ?
Most custom rom's have a pretty complete apn list.
if you come across one that doesn't just replace the file /system/etc/apns-conf.xml with a more complete version of the file, I allways use the one from cyanogenmod if I have any problems.
But as I said, most (if not all) established rom's have a good apn list so I wouldn't worry unless your using an unstable experimental rom thats in its very early stages.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
Thanks, exactly what I was after

Helping you guys with your development

Hi, I've gone over the details of this device and I'm convinced that it prettymuch the same as the device I use, (Huawei Ascend Y300).. A5 dual core clocked at 1Ghz, Adreno 203, 512 MB ram etc.
Our device has seen plenty of swift development including the latest KitKat (Stable with everything working)
Hope to see mutual benefit between our communities.

Trekstor xintron i 10.1 ROOT

I just wanted to tell others who own a x86 Atom CPU driven tablet like my "Trekstor xintron i 10.1" (sold as Fantablet in Germany), that I found a way for rooting it. Look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51089990#post51089990
And many thanks to social-design-concepts for his work.
Hey Aleks_F and @everyone at XDA,
thanks for the Information.
The Link now refers to some rather "older" methods and links to a new method where the thread is currently w.i.p. I am new to all this and feel sorry for having to ask for helping a noob (I am into IT but nothing Android related...). I would like to ensure I do everything right and have all the latest downloads.
I fond the following device infos:
Manufacturer: Trekstor
Model number: Surftab Xintron i 10.1 3G
M/N: ST10408-9
Android Version: 5.1.1 (Lolipop)
Baseband Version: SF3GR_LPOP-MR1-REL_01.1530,02.07
Build-Number: ST10308-9_20150924_v1.1.4
Storage: 8GB flash (system shows 4.6 GB)
RAM: 1GB
CPU: Quad-Core Intel Atom x3-C3230RK @1.2 GHz
USB debugging is activated via dev. settings
I found lots of old, outdated threads regarding rooting android devices with broken links and old information which most likely will no longer work. Now I hope to find some help here
I tried rooting it without success using Kingoroot App and Windows program. Now I found out I have to unlock the bootloader first.
What I want is to be able to store pictures and movies automatically onto the 128GB SD card. I also liked to move Apps with Link2SD to the SD card (mostly mapfactor navigator and GBs of OSM maps)
Any help would be more than apreciacted.
Summerly greetings from the german black forrest,
Nils
