I had the original one for the Note where it friction fit into the game controller clip. Worked ok but I never really found any games that I liked that worked with the controller. I did play a few nintendo emulations that worked out ok. I do like the idea of having a case that attaches to the clip, I figured the felt from the friction fit would eventually come unglued and then you would be scratching the metal border of the note.
The cable included in then $19.95 kit is a mini usb (controller side) and a regular USB end, they include an OTG cable for plugging into the phone. At least that is what mine came with. So if you have a mini USB and OTG cable already, skip the wired kit. My kit did not come with instructions and I found the site's instructions confusing but there are several YouTube videos that describe how to use the Sixaxis app.
I got the original for my note too. I never really play any android games, but I loved playing the classic PC game Doom with it plus the emulators too were enough to make it worth it in my opinion.
Great investment!
Can anyone please suggest a phone case for Note n7000 for Universal Gameklip ?
I just ordered the Universal Gameklip from Ebay India, which do not include case.

I agree with you.
I want to buy a BT gaming controller. I read good reviews about moga pro power. heard that G910 gamepad controller is better than moga. Anyone has bought it?

I use the Moga Hero, replacement to the original Moga Pocket... its a smaller version of the Moga Pro Power. It works great, very happy with mine. Bought it for $39 about a month ago. I have never heard of the G910. Remember though Moga has their pivot app to make games easily playable without mapping to the controller.
Here is what I use:
http://www.amazon.com/POWER-MOGA-Hero-Electronic-Games-Game/dp/B00FB5R9OY
That controller looks good and should work with games with native gamepad support. The Moga has a lot more support though and works with some games that don't have native gamepad support.
I have both Gen 1 & Gen 2 AFTVs (in different rooms). I'd like to get gamepad controllers that work on both so we can move from one room to the other as needed.
I have seen a lot of talk but no real clear info on them.
The ones that seem to get the most attention are:
Sony Playstation Dualshock 4
or
Logitech Wireless Gamepad F710
or
MAD CATZ...
MCB3226600C2/04/1 MOBILE Gamepad C.T.R.L.R
MCB3226200C2/04/1 MICRO Gamepad C.T.R.L.R
or
XBOX 360 wireless controller & USB receiver
Any recommendation between these options??
thx for the help!
The Playstation 4 controller "dualshock 4" works great for me and out of the box.
does everyone think the PS 4 Dualshock controller is the way to go?
The ps4 controller works great for me also.
If you already have one, try it out.
You can read my thread here for some pointers.
On page 2 one user even linked a fix for users having trouble. Although it seems the 4k boxes are working out of the box.
I have been using both Wired and Wireless Xbox 360 Controllers using OTG and the 360 dongle receiver (Also DS3 Wired) in my Samsung A8 2018 revision. And I decided to try my controllers with my Redmi Note 8 Pro and it seems both wired and wireless don't work or no support with the Operating System such as the MIUI.
Samsung has built-in drivers and supported various 3rd party controllers including the official ones such as the PlayStation controllers or the Xbox controllers.
It seems that MIUI doesn't have a built-in controller software support or it doesn't have these features at all.
Any advice on how to get this thing sort it out?
Same problem here .But the controller works with redmi note 6pro which has a micro usb. If I convert to other os will it work.??
I have a Dasaita 10.2 PX6 Head unit and I was just curious is there a way to connect an xbox or ps4 controller to it to play games? I've tried Bluetooth but it won't connect just phones and wired doesn't do anything as well as far as I can tell. is there a developer option you can access like on an android phone or regulars tablet in order to "Activate it"?
I just purchased and installed a Dasaita 10.2 PX6 in my 4Runner. I was not able to get my PS4, Xbox One, Switch, or iPad bluetooth wireless controllers to work. I think this is because when the head unit tries to connect via Bluetooth it requires a 4 digit pin from the connecting device.
The good news is that I was able to get a wireless controller with a 2.4GHz USB receiver (dongle) to work with it. I downloaded Retroarch and can play games as well as control the head unit home home screen, etc with this setup.
Obviously you will need the USB port in your car connected to the head unit for this to work. This technique also works with my Logitech MX Master 3 mouse and wired USB keyboard. I assume it will work with any controller that utilizes a 2.4GHz USB receiver.
