Just upgraded from Note 5 to Note 8 and upon transferring contacts I noticed that there are no longer contact Groups (Family, Work, etc.) When I click a contact I've had in a group I can see that they're still listed in the group in contact info but I have no button/access to see the whole group. Am I missing something here???

I would have upgraded Note 5 to Note 8.0 custom firmware. NOTE 8.0 is a tablet Note 5 is a phone.
Try flashing a stock romantic back to your NOTE 5, and see If things work with contacts.
This is in the wrong section as it clearly says Note 8 and NOT 8.0. The Note 8 is a cellphone, not a tablet.

Hello guys, I have Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100)
When I want to link (join another contact) I want to link more than 5 contacts or social network together, but I get this stupid massage "Unable to join contact. Maximum number of joined contact is 5". :crying:
So can you please HELP me and find some way to be able to join more than 5 contacts together because I really need it.

Just a rant:
When I used HTC, one of my favourite things I liked about their stock email app (for Exchange) was the ability to switch from a specific folder view to ALL folder view.
Despite Samsung preaching to the enterprise crowd, this is still something they haven't done. On my work email, I have about 50 folders. When I get an email, it usually dumps into one of those folders. On HTC, I could simply switch the folder view to see all my unread emails, but on Samsung this is simply not possible. If I am on the go and I have a buried email, I will basically never find it unless I either scan every folder or get to a computer. It doesn't help that the Notification Centre on the Samsung sucks and shows very little information with regards to emails and is often cluttered with information from other emails within the inbox (irrelevant to the notification being shown)

Why? This is directly related to Samsung software.
In fact -- there are other threads that don't even discuss Samsung or their products whatsoever that would probably be best moved over there.

Please bear with my several threads I am posting here. I am new to the Note 8 and the whole Note family and I am facing a bunch of issues.
Now, in the S-note app, I put a different background by going through the menus and choosing an image as the background. Great. Now, I noticed that after doing that, I can NO longer add voice memos or add any objects via the buttons below as these buttons are missing!!! Can ya help me? See the photos via the dropbox links to see what I am on about.

It Seems you are using the memo template for your image based notes. I don't think memo supports voice or objects.
Try the note or Idea note (for memo like blank canvas) for your template.

Not sure if this has been answered before, and apologies if it has - just couldn't find a definitive answer yet. Would my S Notes and Scrap book sync up between the Note 3 and the Note 10.1 2014 ED ? Being able to edit them on both devices is also important to me.

How many people you think went out and bought 2 expensive shiny toys together? I'm guessing not many.
Old version of S Notes synchronized well between my original 10.1 and 8, both were running the same version. If Note 3 has the same version, then I don't see why they wouldn't sync. You can also post in Note 3 forum, more phones are sold than tablets.
S Note syncs up between note 3 and note 10.1 2014 with evernote. I have them and do it daily… I will look into scrapbook and get back to you.
Scrapbook does aswell. You have to login to the same samsung account on both devices. In scrap book tap menu ⇨Accounts⇨ that will pop you to a samsung account sync page just make sure that scrapbook is checked and you are good to go. I just did it and, poof scraps everywhere… lol
P.S. yes some of have lots of "disposable income" to buy expensive shiny new toys… just had to chill my feel to resist the gear too… however I just might…

Hi, I have a quick question about the evernote syncing. Do you have to select notebooks to sync or does it do all of them by default ? Also, is this 2 way syncing i.e. if you sync a note with evernote and then change it later is the update then synced back to the note in evernote ? If I change the note in evernote (assuming I can - maybe using Skitch) does that change get synced with S-Note ?

For some reason s-planner does not synchronize between my note 2 and my note 10.1. I have all the synchronize options on except for Google+ and gmail. I use the Samsung email app. I'm not sure what is wrong. Maybe other people have the same issue or have a solution for this. Tnx
