Hi everyone, i'm on CrDroid 3.5, d855, and my problem is that i can do only 1 hour screen-on with battery (changed about one year ago). How can i improve it? I'd like to do 3 or 4 hours of screen-on.
Any apps to control draining applications? Any ROM? Kernel?
Thank you very much!

Hello everyone I'm new in Android as I have just purchased One X 5 day ago.
Right now i'm using latest custom rom (ARHD 6.0.0) including ROM cleaner to clean up bloatware. But I noticed that the battery life drains quite fast unexpectedly.
Here's my regular usages starting today 8am-8pm:
-I on 2G network only.
-replied 5 sms.
-received/making calls for total 3 mins (4 times)
-listening to music with beats audio on 80% volume for 2 hrs.
-do some casual fb/internet surfing with wifi on (20mins total), wifi is off when not used.
From 8am-8pm, battery drain from 100% to 65%. Is that normal ?
Advice is greatly needed.
*1 more thing, I installed the corecontrol app to have 2 cores enabled. Could that be the reason why battery is draining fast as it is using 2 main cores and overwrite the "hidden" energy efficient fifth core of tegra 3 which is used to perform simple tasks ?
You should really look into the ARHD forum and please use the Search button.
There are a lot of threads related to batteries where I am sure you will find your answer.
35% drain in 12 hours with that usage is good.
Thanks.

OMFG ?!?!?! even using custom rom ???
Hey,
I recently unlocked my bootloader, rooted, and installed CM10 on my HOX. I did a full battery drain and then full recharge before using, and still noticed that my batter is still being drained at a worrying rate. (3 hours gone and just 57% battery left) The screen takes 52%, but the Android OS takes 21% and the Android System takes 5%
Is there anyway I can reduce this battery drain? I understand the ROM is still in Alpha, but I've heard people still achieving 3 hours screen time with it! Maybe something to do with getting a new efficient kernel ? (I'm still new to all this).
Many thanks in advance

Firstly, what kernel are you using?
Give it a few days to settle in first.

Stock kernel I presume :/
Try another kernel after a few days of letting things settle in.

hi there - just a thought of sharing with you since you've already rooted your phone -
- Domination ROM CM10 thanks to Owain94 check it out on the forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1799375
- NCX 0.99bOC kernel by n3ocort3x see comparison here done by nimrodity (thank you guys) http://androidroots.com/king-of-kernels-kernel-comparison-htc-one-x/
Again it's a custom ROM expect for some bugs to come up - but you decide at the end since this version are better than alpha
Enjoying the flexibility & efficiency of the battery life on my HTC One X!
Just installed Cyanogenmod on my new gpad
Google+ is killing the battery in a less than a day
Anyone else see the same issue?

I've just noticed this on my stock Note 3 in the last couple of days.
13 hours on battery
CPU Total 1hr 38m
Stay awake 11hr 11m !
Going to restart the phone and see if it stops.
Yes. I did a little work on my off days for the AIC kernel for cyanogenmod based ROM. I thought I induced a kernel wakelock of some sort but it's entirely google+. Awful battery drain. Didn't dig any deeper.
Hey everyone.
I have galaxy tab T210 and I was using nolekat's rom. I install the boost pack after that, in order to maximize the performance of the tablet.
I messed a bit with the cpu frequency but I did set it back on the stock. A couple of weeks later I saw that I had battery issue, more specific the tablet would go off after a 10 minute video on youtube in full battery capacity and would remain on 1% for a long long time. I tried changing in a couple of different roms but in every rom the battery would have the same behavior.
If there's someone that had the same issue or can at least provide some help that would be amazing
Hello guys, I have a problem with my G3. I was using stock rom and I decided to use Cloudyg3. It was pretty good but battery life isn't good enough for me. My battery is finishing after 3 hours when i do a full charge. May you guys give me a few advices for custom roms? Because i don't want to charge 4 5 times in a day. Thanks.

Use gabriel kernel with bullet_93s settings. Settings can be edited with kernel auditor.
