Good Afternoon everyone!
A while back I bought a sprint s8 plus and flashed tmobile software via Odin. All went well except that my phone keeps prompting for an update, however every time that i go through with the update it does the whole process then returns to the homescreen to then prompt for the same update. I have tried updating about 10 times to only have the same problem, any suggestions? I flashed G955USQU1AQD9_Recovery_TMB
Thank you in advance for any help!

Hey everyone,
So two night ago I received a notification on my GS3 saying a new update was out.
When I tried installing the update it rebooted into recovery and failed at 24%....weird. I was running Rogers stock rom and recovery at the time so this shouldn't have happened, and I would like to know why for future reference.
I also tried updating via samsung kies. But when I tried this, it said my device wasn't compatible to update via kies????
So I ended up download the LK4 update off sammobile website and installed it using odin.
Anyways, I now have the new update installed. I've noticed two weird things:
1. When I go to about phone in settings and go into software update, it shows a screen "checking for software updates..." and doesn't go away unless I press back or home button. Why can't I search for new updates????
2. My google now voice isn't working. It recognizes what I say to it but when it gives the flashcard response, it doesn't talk back like it normally does. I have it set to English US, and yes my media volume is up at full volume.
Anyways I'm a little frustrated at this point. I can't figure out how to fix these problems so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hi all!
I just got my T-Mobile G3 today. I immediately rooted it using StumpRoot and then proceeded to start ripping out TMobile & LG bloatware.
I saw the OTA update which after some research must be D85110M. It seemed reasonable so I went ahead and hit update, planning to reroot afterwards. I looked back to my computer.
About 5 minutes later, I look down, only to find my phone rebooted. I go to system settings, and notice that my build version is still D85110C, which is what my G3 came with. In addition, the OTA update notification is nowhere to be found. I have tried going into settings and searching for a new update, but it appears my phone thinks the update was installed, but it clearly has not been. I cannot imagine there was any errors in the process, as it should have just ran while plugged in.
Any ideas?
I upgraded to kitkat through OTA update and it screwed my tablet up. It kept freezing and restarting by itself all the time to the point it was useless. I did a factory reset and couldn't get it past the boot screen and if it did it froze seconds after getting to the home screen. I called Customer service and told them I was having issues because of the update and they said I could send it in for $99 and they would repair it....... yeah right. So I decided to root it, I used Odin 3.7 and twrp then flashed it with nolekat I thought I had it fixed but it started doing the same thing again I am feed up with 4.4.2 and want to go back to 4.2.2 where I had no issues I cant find a clean stock rom for the 210R and was wanting to know if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks
Check out sammobile. You have to make an account, but it's free.

Here's the latest firmware before the KitKat update.
Thanks Downloading now I hope this fixes my issues.
I keeps giving me an error so gonna try to download it again.
looking for some suggestions as to what I can to to correct these issues. I have a 210R that I screwed up probably flashed something I should not have... to restore I went to sam mobil and downloaded the latest firmware ( T210RUEU0COB1), installed using Oden and restored the Tab. since I have done this (and yes I redownloaded the firmware and reinstalled to make sure it was a good file and installation) the tab now will boot up fine, but will come up with the error messages Process com.androis.systemui has stopped and often com.sec.android.flashbarservice has stopped as well clicking ok will sometimes let me continue, other times will simply reboot. If it lets me continue whatever app I am using will quickly stop as well and the tab reboots. in addition to this the WiFi barely recieves any signal unless I am almost on top of the router. it is currently stock. Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.

Dude my tablet is in the same state I use. The many reboots. All apps/process stopping for no reason. Funny thing is this started happening to me after I received an OTA update for 4.4.2 and flashed it. So basically the official update released by samsung messed up my phone. Somebody please respond with suggestions/solutions.
Sigh.... guess I'll just use it as a paperweight ..
I am running the last updated Kit Kat on my Note 4 because I refuse to update to that ridiculous excuse of a 5.0.1 update Verizon released. A few days ago, my phone started automatically downloading a system update, and I was excited thinking they finally released 5.1.1, but it turned out to be 5.0.1 again. Now I have to continue the cycle of hitting "install later" to clear the notification. My question is: if I reflash the same 4.4.4 that I have saved, will all my phone data be erased? I know it gets saved when you do an upgrade, and it gets cleared out when downgrading. I just want to save myself a big headache before I try flashing the same ROM.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Yeah, if you reflash, it's basically like wiping and reloading windows on a pc. All your data would be gone. I'm pretty sure you could back a lot of it up with kies though.
