Hey guys, i think i already read it in xda op3 forum but i cant find the answer any more.
How can i achieve it that my phone unlocks only in my home wifi without the need for a fingerprint?
So if i leave me home network i still want the fingerprint lock to be active. But if i am at home i just want to unlock my phone with double tab on screen and without fingerprint.
The inbuilt smart lock feature only works with location enabled. I'd like to use it with wifi.
Gravity box xposed module does it!

WiFi isn't in it because it isn't safe. If someone steals your phone and change their wifi name to your they can access your phone without a problem.
Use tasker

This is what is happeing to me. If my phone is locked for more than 20 minutes or so, when I use my fingerprint to unlock the phone, it only wakes th phone, I.e.turns the backlight on, but doesn't unlock it.
The fingrprint registers correctly, as the screen wouldn't wake otherwise. I'm struggling to understand what the problem could be.. maybe its Go Launcher? Maybe its lightflow? Or someway around notifications?
do u have a pin set up or pattern
Yes I do. When I use my fingerprint, it takes me to the screen to input my PIN

I had the same issue when I turned on douple tap to sleep in novalauncher. Once I disabled it, the fingerprint reader unlocked my phone, not taking me to the pattern screen. Its certainly a software problem, I guess it's your launcher.
I'm using a older version of Go Launcher EX (5.09). Its very old, but does the job for me.. unfortunatly it doesn't have the double tap option.
I'll try disabling it and see if th problem persists
Edit:
With the Google Now launcher, when I use this app to lock, the same problem occurs. I lock by clicking the app, but then when I try to unlock using fingerprint, it takes me to the PIN screen

If you want to use fingerprint unlock function, you need to install FingerprintEnabler xposed module. Else the fingerprint to screen on and ask for pin or pattern is the default behavior..!
Hi.
I'm new user of LGG6. Previous i was on Nexus devices.
Is there any way so set unlocking with fingerprint ONLY? So, without additioanl pattern, PIN or smth.?
Thank you!
I found that second security is needed only first time, after device boot if you use fingerprint screen unlock.
But, if I use DT2W unclok method I have to use PIN,/pattern ...
So, any way to remove that, BUT keep fingerprint unlock?
(i know i can remove screen lock method, but than fingerprint is automaticly removd too)
I removed this kind of protection on my Nexus, but it requires root.
Just add a trusted location etc then it will unlock with no passcode and fingerprint only.

Are you locking the phone using an app (like Nova Launcher) to double-tap to lock/sleep? if yes, then double tap the status bar to sleep. then you can wake the phone using fingerprint only.

Also add a trusted device like a BT watch or I'm sure there is a always on you option. Detects when you have phone with you.

Yap, I'm using NL.
Thanks! Nice solution, but it 'll be hard to get used to use just status bar to lock.
The best solution is this one, but it only works if you are rooted (+twrp) and i'm not sure if last root method allow to chainging files on /system partition:
Then while still in TWRP go delete /data/system/locksettings.db
This should let you swipe to unlock your phone. Your fingerprints will still be saved and can be used once you set up a secure lock screen
Beside I would like to stay without root if it's not necessary.

I don't use BT watch, any device ... All I can set is home/work location and CAR BT.
I dont' see any other usefull option for me.

Ok, now I set "on body detection" ... but. That kind of smart locking only works if you don't lock phone with duble tap (over Nova launcher in my case) nut you leave phone to lock after time.
So this is usefull only if I don't lock with double tap. But I like that option and I'm using it all the time.
Thanks anyway for your time and tips.
Currently I have double tap to wake with Smart lock enabled. Unfortunately it takes me to lock screen and I have to swipe to go to home screen. Is there any Tasker plugin or any other way to go to home screen instead of lock screen on double tap? I have tried Tasker with my limited knowledge, but couldn't achieve it...
Update: Achieved with Tasker
Try AutoInput

To be completely honest I'm not too sure since I don't use the feature myself. I did see it somewhere in that plugin though, which is why I recommended it.

Thanks, will try that
I have the same problem / need. I use smartlock based on android wear watch paired with my galaxy S9, which means I never have to enter my pin, but for some silly reason whenever I wake up the phone using tasker I still can't get past the slide to unlock.
My current workaround which meets my immediate needs (maybe not yours).... on my phone which I carry in a holster on my hip is to use fingerprint sensor to manually unlock while the phone is in the holster. I also have a tasker task to vibrate upon unlock (bypasses slide to unlock) which gives feedback when I'm successful. Surprisingly, fingerprint sensor doesn't care which way you rotate your finger on the sensor - it still recognizes it.
After I unlock the phone I initiate actions from my smartwatch - things like initiating google voice search in a way that preserves my preferred note to self behavior (goes to google keep including transcript and recording... doesn't work if you start google voice search by saying ok google)

Can you explain step by step please?
Just install AutoInput from playstore (it's not free), it has an option to unlock the screen automatically if you have FaceUnlock enabled.
From few days. My A50 is getting automatically unlocks in my pocket. Is anyone is facing the same issue ??
Please specify more details. What do you mean by automatically unlocks? You get an alert or something? Does it unlock and launch apps on it's own when you place it in your pocket? Which biometric methods are turned on and is Google smart lock on?
Sometimes a random app opens when i check my phone. Currently i am using fingerprint unlock method for my device.
To prevent that, turn on Accidental Touch option and cure the phone
Sent from my SM-A505FN using Tapatalk
Accidental touch option is already on.
Check some apps installed. Maybe some of them making trouble.
On my phone, all's good. Hmmm.
My A50 is getting automatically unlocks in my pocket. I am also facing the same issue. I am using biometrics and faceunlock . Accidental touch is also turned on. Whats the use of secuirty if it can be unlocked my pocket can unlock this phone without biometrics and face. I face so many times in a day. I read samsung s10 also facing this same issue.

Hey I am not having any issue like that. Turn off your facial recognition and see if it still happens.

Smart lock or anything on?
Listen, turn off all biometric methods and only keep pin/pattern and see?
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy A50 using XDA Labs
I am facing the same issue. My phone become hot, and there is a message that biometric unlock fail for 5 times and I have to insert the pin. Meanwhile, the battery drained at least 7-8%
heat is normal while playing game, may b u shud try hard reset. Hope it will solve problem. I am using face unlock coz biometric unlocks takes time to unlock. Biometric i use rarely sometimes may b our screen has sometimes white layer of dust or oily . So that can be the reason for fngerprint problem.
Maybe u are using smart lock
Hi, Please check if you are using trusted location or device. If that option turned on turn off trusted location or device. I can not surely tell you where the option is because I will receive my device tomorrow. but there must be a option.
Just visit a service centre. Its already in warranty period. So dont worry.

Hi all ,
My samsung A50 also have the same problem , automatically unlocking while in pocket on driving, tried different settings as per various suggestions, such as accidental touch, home screen app changes, disabling of trusted devices,on body detection..etc..etc....
But no use, the issue existing .
But after a recent setting change, now its ok , some days over, till no problem. Try it , May be its workout .
And reply me the result ,...
Firstly make sure , all the normal settings are ok , accidental touch protection enabled /also disable the on body detection , trusted devices/ driving, ....the same is in the link of Smart Lock .
Then
Advanced Features - Motions & Gestures - disable the lift to wake & double tap to wake.
Other items will enable no problem , such as smart stay, alert, easy mute .
Try it and reply
Go to settings ---》 smart lock --》voice match --》while driving (turn off)
Same issue on my A70.
The "Accidental touch protection" feature doesn't seem to do anything. Maybe because it doesn't have a sensor, just the camera? Either way, the software is bugged.
I ended up turning off "Double tap to wake", as I don't really need that.
I also have the same problem that the phone unlocks in my pocket.
So iam trying now the options above to turn off some options.
I'll let know if it will work or not.
Yes my divice also unlocking automatically while in pocket
Hi has anyone encountered the issue of the device unlocking by itself when a notification comes in and you are not looking at/face is not aligned with the camera for face unlock?
I have turn screen on when notification arrives enabled. And this has been happening even on magic ui 2.
Do you have SmartLock enabled? This will bypass the lock screen if a trusted Bluetooth device is within range.

Nope! I don't have it enable. This issue happens every now and then, not always, but often enough to annoy me
My SmartLock does not work every time, sometimes my trusted device is connected and still the phone isn't unlocked. Maybe it's the same bug?
go into settings-biometrics & password-face recognition- unlock device and change to slide to unlock
