Root and active noise cancelling - Xperia Z5 Premium Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, I am thinking about getting this phone mainly because of active noise cancelling. However I understand that active noise cancelling is lost with root because of DRM. Does the drm-fix take care of that problem so that I can have the device rooted with working noise cancelling?

[REQ] Noise cancellation program

While looking at headphones tonight, a question arose in my mind of whether it would be possible to get the Touch HD to monitor the surrounding noise through it's microphone, flip the phase and then "add" that to the music/video being played. That's effectively what active noise cancelling cans are doing. The HD has a microphone. It also has a headphone socket...
Does the HD support more than one audio output at once? would it be as simple as my mind thinks it is? Would the Blackstone have enough processing power to do this properly?
I can't program at all so was wondering if any of you more talented XDA-ers had thought of this!
Well, I had the same idea a couple month ago. A friends friend got onto it - some sort of "noise technician" with fancy lab and all.
Unfortunately he came to the conclusion that while it's no problem to program it, it won't be worth the time.
Why? Well, the noise that arrives at the mic of the phone is (technically) very different from the one that arrives at your ears. Noise cancellation effect would be close to zero - if not even make things worse. That's why all these noise-canceling Hardware solutions have the mic directly at the ear.
Dammit ... was pretty frustrated.

Background noise when using headset

Hi all, I Bought Xiaomi Hybrid IEM headset to use with the phone, and encountered a weird issue. The person I talk to says that there's a background noise and that maybe the mic is too sensitive. When I'm outside there's a 'sssssss' sound in the background and you can hear an ambulance from 20 miles away. When I unplug the headset and talk regularly to the phone the sound becomes crystal clear. Any ideas? Thanks

I think that you may have a defective pair of Airpod Pros. You can also see if there is new firmware. Even though I also have an iPhone, I've never been able to update.
I use them with my Note 10+ as well & even when mowing the lawn on a lawn tractor (very loud) if a call comes in, people on the other end hear me loud & clear & I hear them well too). Before I turn off the mower, I've asked every caller if they can hear me well & they all say yes! I hear music loud & clear with Active Noise cancelation on.
I don't know if this will help the volume but I'd try the tips in this video, can't hurt.

Even try unpairing & repairing them. I use 2 Android apps. Material Pods & Assistant Trigger. You don't need both and they won't help your problem, just nice Apple-like battery info functionality.

Does MDR-NC750 Noise Cancelling Headphones work?

Does the noise cancelling headphones work and provide noise cancellation? i really hope it does. I have one lying around here and since after the Xz1 i owned,it doesn't function anymore and i would really love to use it.
Doesn't work on Xperia 1 II so unless they changed it for this device probably not
