Lineage 14.1 is available for the Elephone P9000. The UMI super and the Elephone P9000 have identical hardware and it was super easy to get Marshmallow ROM's for the Elephone P9000 to work on the UMI super. In fact Elephones marshmallow stock ROM's worked better on the UMI super than UMI's own stock ROM's (GPS and Volume issues were fixed). I don't know if anyone has tried using the Lineage 14.1 ROM for the Elephone P9000 on the super yet but it might be the quickest way to get Lineage 14.1 on this phone.

I update the topic if a developer ever feels ready to help us. Many of us are looking for an Android 8 ROM for the UMI Super smartphone, which has not been updated for several months.
Thanks to the developer who will help us in this port !
Unfortunately, there seems to be little interest in the UMI devices and therefore it will be very difficult to get a custom ROM for these devices.
So I'll get a device from a better known manufacturer next.
The more common a device is, the higher the probability of getting a good custom ROM.
Even for my old Samsung Galaxy S3 and S4 there are already some good ROMs (LineageOS, crDroid, Resurrection Remix, etc.).

I had and still have my LG G2 and after many many roms flashed, this was the best in my opinion.
Fast, Stable, with ota updates weekly, very user friendly, with plenty options to customize your device and make it unique.
I've seen there is a team working for mi mix.
and to be honest i hope to see meanwhile aicp rom on my MI 6.
So if there someone already on the job keep up the good work.
If not just think on that.

No, there is more activity on the acip for Mi6 so it actually runs much better than the Linage rom that is posted.

Stable nougat rom is made by Zormax...v1.2-1.5 is stable, im using zormax rros 1.2 since June 2017 and now
and mohancm now started building oreo rom..
Also dg28 have starting building oreo for our device...

Don't post or misguide until you are in to it, @Zormax final release is stable and I have not encountered any major issue yet.
And O is being worked out by @mohancm hope for the best.

You have not gone trough XDA rule and regulations pl have a look.
Development isn't an easy job otherwise everyone particularly like would declared by himself as you stolen @mohancm's xenon HD project.
I don't understand what are you doing here as you already stated to have sold your device.

I am gonna ask a few dev to support the AEX 5.7 Treble and future version.
The rom is well optimized whit extended dark theme engine.
Fast smoot whit no bugs.
We already have the LOS 15.1 and the RR OREO.
But AOSP is wat better then LOS base roms.
My last phone was Xaiomi Redmi Note 4 and i use AEX 5.7 on him whit gcam.
The phone was purfect.
The only thing the phone is missing was the amoled screen.
So i will ask nicly the devs @rahulsnair, @davidsonsjesus and more attention to @dlproject because he support already two roms.
I am asking nicly.
To see that this great rom have only 4 custom roms is little sad.

Let me understand, do you want AEX on your device? Do you have a Moto Z2 Play?
I already build some versions of AEX, but I stopped for not having time to maintain 3 roms (ToxycOS, Resurrection Remix, and AEX). Btw, I think it's even unnecessary.
Why do you ask for treble? Do you even know what's its purpose?
Perhaps if one genuinely wants something, they might figure out themself. If you want it really, really bad enough

Yes i have a Z2 Play. I got it before 6 days.
I already say it i use the rom in my preview phone.
The rom is really good.
I know what is treble.
Roms whit treble are updating more eassly whitout bugs.
Hi, I got this device a little over 5 months ago and I want to make some ROMs for it. I would like to see what roms you would like on the A5 2017. The title says all, please respond to the topic only.

2. I don't think I am going to port some crazy TW Pie ROM, I do not specialize in TouchWiz ROMs anymore so please go ask corsicanu or someone else for that.

i'd dig a STABLE resurrection remix oreo rom with almost no bugs that has quick charge, voLTE/4G+,and phone,camera, bluetooth/nfc, 5ghz wifi and everything else. But please make it fully compatible with the oreo modem and bootloader!

As of now, I will be working on RR Oreo.
Now there already is a RR Oreo thread, which makes me a bit skeptical because he could report my future thread. I will look deeper into the bugs of the current RR Oreo and make mine from Lineage sources and try to fix bugs one by one. Also, I don't think of porting TW ROMs anytime soon because the A5 lacks AOSP ROMs rather than TW ROMs.

Why should we fight if we can help each other?
We have some stock roms but none of them support Volte which is a big thing for a lot of users , if u can fix that in AOSP roms that would be amazing....and it would be great to have more developers in this community.

No, thank you. The latest version released is Marshmallow and you can't really "hack" with it as you may think.
How about lineage OS 16 with all bugs fixed? That will be an interesting ROM. Please consider working on it.

I have the D851 so can't say much (D855 had more choices). Was partial to crDroid and the GZR ROMs (Tesla, Validus). Lot of folks liked Resurrection Remix.
As far as current or recent stuff I guess there's LineageOS. Last build from November 2018.
