You could try to find a NFC-enabled battery for your S2 and / or ask in the S2 forums.

The battery adds the nfc-antenna. Not the nfc-chip. GS2 with nfc chip in 6 countries, as far as I know. Not in Brasil.

What's the model # of your sgs2? For instance I have NFC and the i-9100p does as well. There are some other variants of the i-9100 that are basically p versions. Do you have any RFID or NFC passport etc. That you could try and use it to read some info off it. Obviously it won't give you vital info off a credit card w/NFC or what not but you will pick up some information. And yes you need the NFC battery, first place you should look is on the battery it will say NFC towards the top.

Most likely not. The reason it won't work is the Moto X has a dedicated language processor that is always listening. AFAIK no other device can do this at the moment.

The hardware for NFC is present in the GT2. It is activated for Chinese users just not for the rest of us yet!

I read that Huawei pay works in Russia (not sure if on GT 2). Soon in Poland and Spain. Anybody know something more?
