Hey dudes
A lot of batteries that are available on eBay....amazon. Etc do not ship to Canada
Anyone willing to buy and ship me a battery. Will pay the money upfront
Any update here?
Also in Canada, can't find any OEM batteries that ship either. G4 battery life tanked over last few months, getting like 3 hours on a charge.

45hrs? Not a chance. I'd have to lock my phone in a safe without knowing the combinayion
Use my phone too much
I think I'm getting more than 8 hours SOT
3rd charge.... Here comes the early test
well ha if you get more SOT then you'll get less overall usage of course. I'd say you'd get maybe 28HRs or abit more or less

My phone is no different than anyone else's, except for RAM....back camera but it is still 16mp just color of buttons are different and rings around the camera itself
Had some guy tell my phone is a clone once comparing it to his Canadian G4. I said good one lol
My bootloader is unlocked. I am rooted using DirtyUnicorns
Certain roms don't work on my phone though even if they are h811.... It simply doesn't like them
I just took apart my phone and took a chip off and on to get it back to working after flashing a bad ROM/kernel as well. It would not fix the problem going back to stock
I'm out of warranty. No bootloop here though. Although unless something new comes along worthwhile that is stable
I don't plan on taking it apart again to troubleshoot for hours because of a sloppy developer
Some ROMs alter or damage your device

I was reading all the post and no body says if already get a new battery replacement for the Nexus 5, I'm in the USA for vacation and I want to buy one battery for a future replacement. Please share your experience with us or say where can we buy a new one (OEM or equivalent)in a store or online. Thanks.
You will get the same type of original battery. And opening your nexus 5 may void warranty (LG services center "conditions apply" ). But for future replacement, I don't think anything will happened to this battery. LCD Screen (with digitizer assembly) should be your choice for future replacement.

It's generally not recommended to buy a battery for "future replacement" because the battery is always degrading even just sitting on your shelf. It's recommended to buy a replacement battery only when you require the replacement battery.

Oh I see, I guess ordering it online isn't really an option from your home country? I don't think there will be any retail store with OEM Nexus 5 batteries, I think you would need to get it from a website such as etradesupply or equivalent.

You are right, we don't have a retail store who sell OEM parts or an official LG service, so I have to buy it here. In Colombia you can buy original parts for the most popular cells in the country but the Nexus 5 isn't one of them because they (Google) don't sell it there. I have to import it
I bought my nexus 5 directly in the play store, I have to buy the battery for the D820 version, for the D821 version or it doesn't matter? Thanks to all.
They all have the same internal specs. The battery should be fine, just as the screens and anything else.

cant you just buy one on eBay and have it posted to you when you need a replacement? as someone said earlier if you buy a replacement now but don't use it for a year it will not be as good as a new battery

I haven't decided to replace mine, yet. Fortunately, I can charge often and carry a power bank.
I bought the Polarcell 2450 mAh on the bay, for 23€

Charging time is a little bit long (I don't enable the fast charge kernel option that scr#wed my previous original battery)
I couldn't reccomend it more. I can do a whole day with intense use.
Of course I use greenify, and tweak some CPU/voltage options

Hi people,
Searching for a battery for my mother's phone, I saw a 3000 mAh battery for our Z3 Compact on the Ali Express:
aliexpress.com/item/3000mAh-LIS1561ERPC-Mobile-Phone-Battery-for-SONY-Xperia-Z3-mini-Compact-M55W-D5833-SO-02G/32720351617.html
I sent a message for the seller to get more information but I believe that he won't have much others.
Anyone here already saw this battery, already placed it in a phone and used to know the quality and if there not got any problem?

I don't think any other battery can compete to OPO's original battery. You can see many people having issues(almost) with custom made batteries, independent of the Buying location.
I've tried some from eBay.in but they all are having one or another issues..same as other user reports.Literally there're several theads in this forum for battery issues after replacing.
If there're not much issues, stick to the original one and if it's much necessary then you can go with any one,but be ready to face issues and less Sots, irrelevant issues.

I've been wanting to pass on my OPO to my younger brother who's been using a N4. But I've abused the OPO's battery to the point that SOT would be around 3hrs at best.

Even after making many charge cycles on new battery, you'll only be able to reach around 4-4.5hrs but not more than that.
If my OPO's battery degrade like that,I'd better consider buying a new device.

Link to the battery?
Also, I would not believe all that is written on Amazon as under "warranty". I've purchased far too many Chinese products under "warranty", but when the warranty expires, you need to send in your product at your cost to some remote location for analysis. The 'analysis' usually ends with the manufacturer saying the damage was caused by user error and will ask for money as high as the product price for 'repairs'. This is considering you're lucky enough to find where the 'warranty' address is, most just won't answer the calls or provide any information.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/SEALED-Goo...290836?hash=item442299f394:g:x2MAAOSwEjlbRvcv
The thing that stands out to me is the "90 day manufacturers warranty". Which is good, as most likely any defects should present by then. But, if NO warranty at all after 90 days, seems risky.
Does this seem like a good deal? (they've sold over 200 so far, though nobody has left feedback yet).
That seems shady that nobody at has left any feedback even though they've sold 200 units. If you can return the purchase if you arent happt with it, go ahead and try ir out. But you still never know. Most of the times, they ship merely the phone itself and no other gadgets that's supposed to come with it. So be aware of that. I bought a refurbished pixel 2 xl and that one was on Pie and the battery kind sucked aswell as the fingerprint scanner after a week or so. So i bought another one and this time it wqs on oreo 8.1 and so far. It runs smoothly without any issues.
Hence, buying refurbished is kind of like gambling. You never know what you will get!
90 days should just be warranty that they have stated. Though Google does two year warranty mostly. I would check the IMEI with Google and see what they say before you purchase. Because you bought it and they should be able to offer you a refurbished unit as a replacement if it has issues. They look brand new basically.

How would he check the IMEI before he even gets the unit? It's not like they'll just give him that info before purchasing.
The seller has a solid rating. I would not worry about it. Just a heads up, it is probably a Verizon version. Those are the only ones available outside of the Google store so you won't be able to unlock the boot loader if that is important to you. But there is no way to know for sure without the IMEI.

Flash the latest factory images before doing anything! It could have malware preinstalled. The description says "Bootloader unlocked", this could be a typo and the seller means bootloader unlockable, or perhaps carrier unlocked, but flashing the factory images will clear out any changes, and will also save you the trouble of going through each update on its own.

It looks brand new, with factory stickers and packaging. Bootloader is locked.

From what I understand of it, it does have the blue shift issue with the display. Not sure how I should feel about that... doesn't seem to bother me yet.

So I'm looking to buy the Snapdragon model of the S20 about £530 / $660 https://www.tecobuy.co.uk/en_UK/samsung-galaxy-s20-g9810-12gb-128gb-dual-sim-5g-cosmic-grey-4.html (not sure how reliable it they are)
Is it still worth buying? Are there issues i.e. battery life, camera quality.
Best phone I ever had.
Photo, phone quality, features.
Battery life is good, I have the Snapdragon.
You won't regret at this price.
Absolutely worth it at that price. I have the CDN version (G981W, snapdragon) and got it for $1650 CAD and love it, just wish I didn't have to pay so much for it.

Even using Dex @ work I barely reach 10g ram usage. Dex alone was a selling feature for me. And it's actually usable now, compared to when it launched back on the s8

Don't bother with tempered glass screen protectors unless you want to go with a Whitestone dome, the cheap ones are trash.
As for roms, there are none other than a GSI . And you need to have a non-NA snapdragon model that is bootloader unlockable.

That's still pricey for me. Came across another website but again not sure how reliable they are https://bludiode.com/en/phones-and-...dual-sim-12gb-ram-128gb-5g-cosmic-grey-11947/

Went for but it was £550, guess should of went for it when it was £530. Paid with PayPal so if anything, I'll get my money back.

When did you order?
Let us know how it goes. I was tempted myself but the reviews scared me a little

Ive decided im gonna go to the Samsung shop this week and buy the S20+
I know they are like £899, but I can have some peace of mind it's genuine, it will arrive and I can get it quickly.
Just not looking forward to transferring everything over
Yes I did going for, it gets getting ready to be dispatched
