This firmware was made by weritos. To install it, you need to repartition the device. Firmware for nx only. Not for nxl. I hope that his changes will soon appear.

cm 12.1
Please work on cm12.1 Nokia XL. And Will mm ROM will work on XL also.
Lineage 13 Works!!!
ROM works on my Nokia X.
I use CWM 6.0.4.8 for Recovery.
You need to re-partition your phone first. Please see the link below on how to re-partition your phone.
Be careful, you need to backup your data on your phone before doing this process.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/nok...-x-xl-t3450079
By the way, this ROM does not come with GAPP. You need to install this separately. Follow the link below to download GAPP.

Enjoy the great works!
My issue that I experienced from installing the Lineage OS 13 + Open GAPP
Hello guys,
I read all the comments in another post of Lineage OS 13 about installing this ROM and some people experienced the same issue that I did.
1. I repartition manually following the link below:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-x/general/tutorial-how-to-partition-nokia-x-xl-t3450079
I did this manually becuase the repartition script did ruin my Nokia X. I lost all the data from partition ID 18 - 25.
2. After finished repartitioning, I installed Lineage OS 13 ROM and Open GAPP pico version. After rebooting the system, I could enter the Lineage OS to set up the starting information. After installing some app Nokia X will reboot by itself.
Everytime I got the boot loop at preparing Google Play Services every time this will take around 4-5 minutes and then rebooting again endlessly. This issue happened with any version of GAPP, not only Open GAPP but also Delta, Bank, Benzo, etc.
3. I reinstall Lineage OS 13 several times and every time my Nokia X stuck at preparing Google Play Services. I reinstall only Lineage OS 13 with Open GAPP 2016 version. This Open GAPP 2016 install Google Play Store 2016 version. After entering the home screen, I tried updating Google Play Services to the current version in the Google Play Store. (But this update will fail.) I downloaded OpenGAPP.apk to SD card and installed the new version of Open GAPP. After rebooting the system with new version of Open GAPP installed, my Nokia could pass the preparing Google Play Services. After this, rebooting will be much smoother with no need for preparing Google Play Services again.

You can download Open GAPP 2016 version below here.

Let me know if my solution could help you guys.
Enjoy!
If you experience BootLoop of Google Play services, you need this script to fix.

Install ROM and Gapps in a single go, don't boot in to system after flashing ROM .. flash them together...
Now just wipe /data in recovery.

No issue, but some apps don't allow to install in SD Card.. Goto Storage format as internal storage, reboot, migrate data, reboot..

Had to go back to the 20160325 nightly. Both the 0326 and 0328 hang on the wizard with google play issues.
when i try to flash gapps it the recovery gives me an error saying that can't handle busybox because it uses toybox and abort the flash :/
How do you flash gapps?
I have been trying to flash my galaxy s4 mini for the last two days, but I keep getting the same problem and that is that no GAPPS package seems to work. I have tried the same flashing routine with both CWM and The current details of the phone is:
Device Model: GT-19195
Android Version: 6.0.1
CM Mod version: 13.0-20160316-SNAPSHOT-ZNH0EAO1QN-serranoltexx
CM API level: Dragon Fruit (4)
Kernel version: 3.4.0-cyan0genmod-gaafcf07
Currently the phone is running fine with only the CM rom installed. When I reboot into recovery and flash GAPPS the phone either get stuck in a bootloop ,where it finishes optimizing the apps but then reboots and optimizes again, or it finishes the bootup but a bunch of error messages pop-up about all the google services that fail. I have tried the Pico and Nano packages for Android 6.0, platform ARM, from http://opengapps.org/ but none of them seem to work. I have also tried the gapps package from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/gapps-gapps-6-0-1-minimal-t3276606 ,but that failed to install for some reason. When I look under installed applications, there is no Google apps listed only an android icons with the title something like andoid.com.xxxx
Does anyone know of another GAPPS package I can try, if this is a bug in the ROM or what else might be causing this problem? I have even tried the CM 12.1 ROM's and GAPPS packages from the same sources and I still get the exact same problem, which is kinda strange. Also if I do not get this error solved, where can I download the Stock S4 mini ROM to revert back to the default ROM?
Thank you

Thank you for you reply. I got the ROM and GAPPS working by using TWRP v3.0.2-1 from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2678420
I was using the previous one something like TWRP v2.0.6 or something, either way this solved it.

Hi,
Not too long ago a weird bug forced me to do a wipe of the device before i can start using it again (was all stock). Now i'm debating on a custom rom since the biggest obstacle for me (wiping the device and reinstalling everything again after) has been taken away.
I did however remember reading about devices with root and custom rom not being able to use the play store anymore since Google marked them as unregistered and such.
Is this still a problem? or is there a work around / fix for this to be found?
Thanks in advance.

Its not a problem if you flash custom rom + gapps + magisk altogether. Once all those files are flashed successfully then only reboot to system & your Google play store will say your device is certified.

To make magisk working properly just make sure you have /data partition EXT4 formatted also install this version of TWRP for Lenovo p2 https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=5862345805528044694 after that install latest version of magisk through recovery & you will be able to install magisk successfully.

Correct. Even with Magisk root Google Pay and other secure banking apps work fine. You may just need to activate Magisk hide for certain apps.

Thank you for your reply.
Yes i did format the data partition to ext4. I used the TWRP version of their original website, searched for the lenovo p2a42 and found kuntao_row. (twrp-3.2.3-0-kuntao_row.img to be exact). Is there a difference in the version you linked there and this one ?
I currently have lineageos with gapps installed and working. If i am going to try and make magisk work. Are the following steps correct?:
1) install magisk manager
2) shut down and enter fastboost
3) flash different TWRP version
4) Boot into TWRP recovery
5) install magisk from ext sd
6) Then done? Or do i need to reinstall LineageOS and gapps again after those steps? And maybe wipe and reformat again at some points? if so, where?
Again thanks in advance and i really appreciate the help.

Just download latest version of the magisk, keep it somewhere in the storage then reboot to recovery, update your current recovery by the recovery I have given you above, reboot again to recovery then flash magisk & reboot to system. After successful flashing of magisk zip install magisk manager apk from play store or Google.

Hi,
Back again haha. It still works properly and almost have everything set up as i wanted to. One more question arose:
The system is telling me there is a new version update for lineageos.
I am assuming i just click download on the latest version, then reboot into recovery (backup as optional), click install, search the zip and let it install then reboot again is the way to install it. But do i have to reinstall gapps? and does this process delete any data or is it just like a normal update and everything stays the way it was before installing the update?
Thanks again in advance.
Hello.
I bought the BLACKVIEW BV9900 running Android 9.
I want to install the latest version of Lineageos with Android 10 on this phone, but first I want to know if my phone is compatible and if it works fine on it?
Is it also possible to root this phone?
Are there people on this forum who have already installed Lineageos and rooted this model?
Thanks for your feedback.

When i search on google "lineageOS BV9900" there are sites that offer tutorials to install it. But having also seen on XDA a person who could not boot LineageOS installed on this model, it is for this reason that I would like to have the opinion of other people who have already installed it.
i may give it a try i recently got twrp working on it so its a good a time as any to look around.
(gotta find a way to backup my stuff first tough as its still encrypted and twrp doesnt wanna play with that)
annoyed
I had also a lot of problems ...
I had to reinstall the stock ROM over SP Flash Tool because of bootloop
I then managed to install twrp
- by activating oem in android setting
- activating usb debug mode
- fastboot flashing unlock
- fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (Took the bv9900 TWRP 331 found on the internet)
- Then tried to wipe, but I get an error that twrp is unable to mount partitions...
After searching I was able to get a workaround, a made a "Format Data"
- Install lineage img from twrp and reboot => got boot loop again !
- Then I reinstall only stock system partition through SP Flash Tool, and working again, but TWRP is away ???
Is the scatter File from the stock rom wrong ? How is it possible, that on flashing only the system partition, the recovery gets overwrited ???
