but it don't work. My headphone is earpod
What's wrong with the headphone jack... There's literally an asterisk on the bottom of the box specifying what devices are compatible..
I'm not 100% sure on this, but USB C to 3.5 adapters might require USB OTG which the Nextbit Robin doesn't support.

So I have seen this cable that's USB on one end and some sort of changeable tip on the other. You can change the other end to be micro USB, mini USB, Apple connector, etc. I just wanted to know if anyone knows the name of this type of cable.

The images below show what was suppose to be a usb 3.0 to type-c otg adapter.
But this turned out to be faulty one.
So i took the outer shell apart but was stumped to find a chip inside.
Turns out all usb type-c pins need a chip to tell the cable to charge, transfer data or both.
Now i need anyone of your help to solder a cable on to the chip for the sole purpose of charging.
Thanks in advance.

I'm thinking about using the Note2 for navigation and sound in the car, but don't want to have to disable my headphone output equalizer in STweaks every time or adjust the device's volume level. Recently, I heard about these MicroUSB cables with audio output jacks on them. Would using one of those bypass the headphone jack equalizer and volume level?

Recently, I heard about these MicroUSB cables with audio output jacks on them (pictured below). Would using one of those bypass the headphone jack equalizer or does it just use the same audio output stream?

So, I lost my OEM Samsung USB adapter. I saw this on Amazon . It came in a pack of 3 for $12. I'm glad I picked this up. It worked just as well. I used this with the following so far:
Bluetooth dongle when I plug in my game controller
If I have to do some work I can get my wireless keyboard and mouse
My IR Transmitter and as a remote
