I have a samsung as per title.
I do not hava a PC so cannot use odin to flash
I have tried Kingo Root but get an error message 0x1FD632.
My Samsung runs Android 7.01
Is there a succesful way to root only using the tablet

Hi all,
Hoping someone can confirm the following before I root the S4, thanks.
1. Will updating Samsung Kies on the desktop incorporate the up to date drivers for the phone.
2. Will the Motochopper rooting method by Dan Rosenberg work on the s4 on T-Mobile Uk?
3. Does the CWM method work or any other method, if so are there any links to this, thanks.

This was asked and answer in the root thread. Questions do not belong here. You are in the wrong forum - this is for T-Mobile (US) devices ONLY, not the I9500 or I9505 (you have one of these).
I have T211 tab 3 7 with 3G. How to root it? The procedure in the development section is only for T210.

In the Samsung galaxy tab 3 10.1 android development section the is a clockwork recovery final and root thread by DutchDanny I think it'll get you started. It has the files you need linked.

Yes. The recovery and root is the same. Roms are not.

if im not wrong i9220 is note 1..nobody can help you here as this is note 2 thread.

On all my previous android devices I have root and rom'd and I will probably do the same here...
Any suggestions on must haves and must nots? Would be very appreciated!
The only Samsung I have ever rooted was an old galaxy several years ago...is Odin still the way to go? I think that's what it was called...
Is there kit kat available for this tab?

To root you must also use Odin for flashing Recovery and root.
Depent of what kind of Tab you have , so you become KK.
Tab3 SM-T217 S has KK now from Samsung
all other has V 4.1.2 or the Tab 3lite has V4.2.2

The SM-T210 & R currently have no stock KK. But there are some KK roms being developed currently.
I would not hope to get KK yet for you since it has a few bugs and since Tab 3 7.0 is
neglected over the 8.0 and 10.0. Your best bet for now is to root your Tab and
flash a custom ROM on it so it will get rid of the bloatware and speed it up.

I finally got it and its the sm-t110 I think?
Anyways i updated all the software updates out of the box then followed some guide ( don't have the link sorry ) and using odin flashed twrp.
Then I flashed a lite ROM from a thread here on xda.
Everything is running great, no issues what so ever as of now.
I do have a question about restoring to stock.
If I ever want to, if I use Odin to flash the stock firmware will it give me the stock recovery back?
