[MOD] CRT screen off / electron beam animation for JVU

Following Bo$s's great tradition, since he's late this time....
CRT screen off animation for odexed (stock) and deodexed ROM's. Will probably not work for custom ROMs or roms with modified menus.
Download and apply via CWM:
CRT-JVU-CWM3.zip (8.04 MB)
To enable CRT screen off animation you have to enable animations in display settings.
If you want to remove this mod use this CWM update.zip:
REMOVE_CRT-JVU-CWM3.zip
(restores stock framework-res.apk)

So, XXJVU is out. Gotta search for it now. Would be cool if you provided a link too

Can someone take it out? To make it flashable only the effect not the whole rom..

I'm not sure what you mean, this is not for a custom rom, it's for the stock 2.3.5 JVU rom...

ok i mean can you make one for xkg 2.3.5 stock rom?

TOUCHWIZ 5x5 HOME & 5x6 APPS LAUNCHER (5.1.1)

First of all make a nandroid backup in case something goes wrong. (Nothing went wrong for me.)
Touchwiz file taken from Audax Rom v33 for Note 3 but it works on Note Edge N915F.
Backup your touchwiz app in system/priv-app folder.
You need to extract the attached file as a folder into system/priv-app folder and delete the touchwiz folder you already have. Then set permissions and restart the phone...
Permissions should look like as in the picture.

I am really sorry I didn't get what you mean. The edge screen has nothing to do with the launcher. It's a kind of launcher itself. If you explain I will try to help...
I have couple of apps for the edge screen, like; Memory match, Edge screen air command, Tiny Burger and stuff.

Myself; I tried most of the roms available on XDA for note edge N915F. The best one and the one I am using is called Edge Rom 5.1.1 v1.1 by Andrei

and the note edge rom its only support 915f i root my mobile using micky kernel but now mobile lag sometime no new rom for 915g.

If I were you I would make a nandroid backup and then flash a rom which is made for N915F but if you do; you have to flash the kernel before you restart the phone. I did it once and it worked.

and also if I wanted to make a new animation could I add in a different mp4 file with the same name? or how would I make it use the new mp4? (i hate the stock animation, it hurts my eyes in the morning, or when i reboot)

yes you can install it by the twrp, to change the bootanimation it must be respected the dimention of the file mp4, I'm not tried so I could not tell you it works
