Hello,
As the title says, I needed some help.
So I'll start from the beginning, I installed the Nougat v29A Beta on my device, which is provided as a Flashable ZIP on this thread ---> https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/development/h815-nougat-stock-t3659860
At first everything seemed to be fine (I clean flashed) and my phone booted up the Nougat Beta without any problems. But after playing around for a while and restoring some of my most needed apps via the Playstore I did a reboot and got immediately greeted with the message that my system is corrupted. I haven't flashed anything else than the Flashable Nougat Beta ZIP but it seemed that the modem that the ZIP contained caused a conflict. I couldn't boot up TWRP and the phone simply could't do anything. But I could boot into the download mode so I restored my phone by flashing a MM based KDZ. After that my phone didn't show the bootloader unlocked messsage at the top of the screen anymore when you boot up the phone. So I rebooted my phone into the bootloader via ADB and tried to unlock it by flashing my unlock.bin via Fastboot, but that failed. I rebooted my phone again and discovered that my IMEI turned into a "0".
So now my question was if there is a way to restore my IMEI?
And luckily the answer is yes! There is a way to restore your IMEI!
--- SOLUTION / Fix ----
So I was able to solve this issue by following this really useful tutorial ---> https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73489308&postcount=2 which @Pif0u gave me.
I recommend anyone who has the same issue to restore their phone with a MM based KDZ before executing the tutorial. Make sure you have "Debugging Mode" enabled in the "Dev Settings" menu.
! Make sure you have filled in your IMEI code properly before writing it to you device. You can find your IMEI code on the box your device came in. !
Follow the exact same steps as described in the tutorial.
! If you choose to execute this fix me or the guy that gave us the tutorial will not be responsible for any problems that may occur. !
You will be able to re-unlock your bootloader if you have successfully restored your IMEI, follow this tutorial to re-unlock your bootloader ---> http://developer.lge.com/resource/mobile/RetrieveBootloader.dev?categoryId=CTULRS0702
Good luck! :good:

I updated the OP with some info, have you restored your phone with a MM based KDZ? If not, I do recommend doing so. Have you followed the first 5 steps exactly like the are described in the tutorial? The program won't be able to connect with your device if you haven't enabled the Port check test.

Yes, you should be able to re-unlock your bootloader if your IMEI code is okay.

I enabled the Port check test. No, now I'm using the beta version of nougat. Do I have to do a downgrade with kdz to marshmallow? In conclusion we can not use the Nougat beta and have the bootloader unlocked since with this version lose the imei of phone

Yes you have to downgrade to MM by flashing a MM based KDZ. This tutorial somehow doesn't work when you are on Nougat.

No problem, glad to help. I think we are able to use the Nougat Beta as long as we do not flash the Nougat Beta modem. The modem seems to cause conflicts. If I was you I would stay on MM and wait till the guys who made a Flashable ZIP of the Beta remove the modem contained in the ZIP and re-upload it.
When i go in dowload mode it says: "Your device is corrupt" and then it reboot. How can i solve it?

How have you tried to access the Download mode? You pressed the Volume up button and connected your device with a USB?
I wasn't getting any corruption message when I booted into Download mode. Keep trying to access the Download mode, maybe with a but of luck it wil boot into Download mode eventually.

I will try other times to start it in download mode but if it does not go I will find it with a phone almost unusable unfortunately.

I'm going crazy here and I need my phone to work!
I have an LG G3 on Verizon.
I rooted it and edited a part of build.prop to change the DPI which got the phone stuck in a boot loop and kept popping up "the process com.android.systemui has stopped.
I tried clearing cache
I tried booting in safe mode
I then did a factory reset
My phone boots up to the Setup Wizard screen but I am STILL getting that systemui error and a com.android.phone and I can't get any further than that screen.
I then tried to use the LG FlashTool to just wipe the entire ROM and replace it with the stock one from Verizon.
This gave me a "Model Information Check FAIL!" error but I DO have the right ROM for my phone. There's only one for the Verizon G3 as far as I can tell
This led me to realizing that there is something in the build.prop that's making LGFlashTool think the proper rom actually isn't right.
I then installed the Android SDK so I can ADB into my phone. but whenever I run "abd devices" nothing shows up in the list.
I was told USB Debugging needs to be turned on in order for this to work, I don't remember if it's turned on or not with my phone and I can't get past the Setup Wizard to edit anything. I wonder if ADB is even running properly on my phone or if these errors are stopping it?
I will gladly paypal someone $20 if they can get this working for me.

One of my friends saved his phone by this guide
Download mode - LG PC Suite - Restore update error.
1. Remove battery
2. Boot phone into download mode
3. Open LG PC Suite - restore update error
This method have saved me a few times.
Will adb work in one of the recovery modes even if it wasn't enabled in the full boot mode? If so, start there.

Regarding your USB debugging question, you would have had to turn it on in order to root the phone originally, right? If so I imagine it would still be on unless you unchecked it. You have the proper drivers set up? Anytime I've encountered issues with adb devices not returning any results the issue has been drivers.
Good luck.

True! that's what this forum is about :highfive:
Hello,
I had been using a H815T, locked bootloader, running Seven HD rom v6.1 for more than 2 months flawlessly. Suddenly yesterday my phone was in charge and it restarted and went into bootloop. Since I tried many things and I went to some local technicians as well as one LG engineer, but all failed to gimme any solution. And I don't have any warrenty, I couldn't ask for a replacement for anyone.
So here's what I tried:
1. Flashing international KDZ
2. Flashing default KDZ
3. Formatting from recovery mode
4. Changing battery
Here's what works:
1. Download mode
2. Recovery mode
So I am ready to pay if anyone gimme a solution out of this. Any help will be appreciated as I am in real trouble coz I cannot afford a new phone now.
With thanks

To me it used to happen sometimes while charging. I had to manually switch off the screen and when i switched on the screen, it became normal for a while. I thought it was due to heavy xposed customizations.

Try this:
copy all zip files you need to reflash (10D or similar) to a memcard
Also download latest twrp and copy it to the directory where you have adb.exe
Open a Command prompt on your PC (where adb is located) and powerup the phone,
open up the Device Manager on your PC to see when the adb device is there,
in the moment where you see the adb device fire up the comand:
adb reboot bootloader
if that works enter the comand:
fastboot boot twrp-2.8.7.0-h815.img
this will boot directly into Twrp without flashing twrp and you can try things from twrp
I hope this will help here, helped me with the phone from a friend of me who had a similar problem.

First you don't install twrp you just boot it from fastboot.
Other thing is that if you read any post in that thread you would see that everyone who tried to install that rom got their phone bricked, some of them succeeded to bring phone back to life, and some killed their devices for good..
So if you can't have stable connection via usb then I have bad news for you..

I don't understand why did'nt you read the forums before flashing it and moreover the ROM was just for testing purposes for advanced developers and it was clearly written at top of the page.
I recently recoverd from a brick using the usual xfstk downloader asus flash tool ect... i think i quit the asus flash tool too early and it left me with a buggy android. my problem is. there is no bootloader! when i try get to it ( even through adb) theres nothing there! but theres a fully working android. I tried to use xfstk downloader again, and when it says "continuing to os" all it does is put me in android with no bootloader. I really want a way to fully wipe my device so i can start fresh again. Is this safe? is there a better way?
that's why i always recommend to use commands method to flash after xfstk. any ways enable developer option and usb debugging. then connect to pc and run command adb reboot recovery. most probably you will boot into recovery factory reset there and sideload latest firmware downloaded from asus website.
if you are rooted then you can flash bootloader via dd commands

Also the xfstk won't complete because when it says continuing to os. It just takes me back to android.
I recommend to use this guide
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=68477856
It's the only way to get my ZE551ML run again.
After using xfstk, go forward without AsusFlashTool and do all steps manually as described in the guide. It helped me to get my bricked ZF2 run again with newest MM.
Good luck.

what does you mean by first stock android?

what exactly you want to do?

It may be a fault in some other guides by addressing in xfstk.
The right address is 0x80000807, some other guides show 0x800000807, one 0 too much!
The guide I linked to does it right.

If you finally want to go to MM, you can install it directly if your phone is broken now. So you will get a very clean MM without messed up from updading from LP! Really recommend.

Hello. I was recently trying to install a custom rom on my Lenovo vibe p1. First I tried to root the device and did is successfully. Then I tried to flash the custom Rom but couldn't do even after several attempts. Then I tried to install my ota update to 6.0 but every time my phone restarted it have an error saying I need to access through fastboot. but then I decided to unroot the device and I also did that successfully. But then an issue happened as my phone turned black. It's not powering on only Blue led light is showing continuously. I've tried pressing the volume keys and power button simultaneously but the phone is not switching on. Then I tried to use qfil tool and whenever I try to connect my phone to the computer it is showing multiple disks (f, g, h, k, j) and it is asking to format it. I'm not able to find my phone in the device manager but all these disks are showing.
Please suggest what can I do. I'll be grateful to you. Thank u

Hi bro, I haven't heard from you. So the latest news is that I rooted my phone, then flashed the qcn file but still I'm not able to get the network. I've gotten my old imei back but the SN number is different.
Can you please suggest how can I get the network back and the SN number too. Please note I'm using an Airtel 4g sim
