My friend has the Moto G5+ . He has custom ROMs on it. All of them have VoLTE. Why doesn't this device have VoLTE on custom ROMs?

I don't think it support VOLTE because its changelog doesn't show any thing related to VOLTE.
have you tried the newest nightly for volte ?
Official lineage os doesn't support volte. Unofficial has bug where ur phone switches off after every call. Gravity os is superb. I'm enjoying it

Would you be able to give us this gift? I have a leeco 2 max that was stopped at Android 6, after the release of oreo every day a new ROM is released (AICP, AOSIP, AEX, PIXEL EXPERIENCE, LINEAGE) not to mention all the other unofficial ones.

Well I think osas really left this device bcus there is still no news from him
So, after all I have unlocked the bootloader as my device was heating a little so I decided to try few custom ROMs in my phone. So I read at a thread in XDA that AICP is the best ROM so I tried it. I loved that ROM. But I'm having two bugs in this ROM. My WiFi is not working and My hotspot isn't working. Please help XDA .

Try changing the kernel... Try Heliox and Jaguar kernels... it should fix the issue

i have flashed latest alpha aex，its smother and stable with small bugs.
i do recommend it if you want oreo
aicp oreo was released but i dont flash aicp oreo ,i dont know the details.

Im on paranoid ROM (All ROM too) when I'm going to call on my Jio sim it's disconnect ..... everything is ok......twrp , firmware, gapps etc.... still facing this type of problem
What do u mean? Which rom are u using? Do u have a SIM that supports Volte?
You won't get much help with questions like this (that don't make any sense). VOLTE is a feature that works on LTE network and has to be supported by device, ROM and service provider. There's nothing to "convert".

Yup but when I'm trying to call it's showing call end (Jio sim)
PA is voLTE compatible ROM . try to delete firmware inside the ROM and flash as routine with OOS firmware.

Even I am on paranoid Android rom using Jio. Please change the Settings as per this. If doesn't work swap the sim in different slot if u r using dual sim

It's the same actually. Enhanced 4G LTE mode is Volte.. If it's enabled Volte will work.. Restart the device and try calling if it works.

Actually mine in paranoid Android extended same rom like PA.. Volte shud work.. If it doesn't try flashing yarpins kernel
