Why don't custom ROMs have VoLTE?

My friend has the Moto G5+ . He has custom ROMs on it. All of them have VoLTE. Why doesn't this device have VoLTE on custom ROMs?

Would you be able to give us this gift? I have a leeco 2 max that was stopped at Android 6, after the release of oreo every day a new ROM is released (AICP, AOSIP, AEX, PIXEL EXPERIENCE, LINEAGE) not to mention all the other unofficial ones.

Do we have vendor tree for Oreo to compile Oreo roms?

I am starting to build a ROM so I need some help. I had set up the build box and now I need vendor tree for oreo. I had just started so pardon any lack of knowledge.

Yep, all Oreo ROMs are 64bit.

Doesn't seem to be working on oreo with magisk 16.

Has anyone tried Pixel experience on our compact yet ? if so how is the performance and camera ?

Kernel 4.14 is stable and the camera is better than on kernel 4.9
It needs more battery at the moment, but depends on the usecase

Thanks for your reply , though I'm embarrassed to ask this question but I just can't find anything about pixel experience rom for xperia xz2 compact here on xda as well as those kernels you mentioned

9.0 uses 4.9
10.0 uses 4.14
I requested a XDA thread but sadly the maintainer is a bit slow

Extract the payload file and flash it in fastboot
Then any further OTA will work with the delivered recovery

Sadly the ota are having an issue preventing it

Yes, that's our ROM using SODP as a base.
(Like my SonyAOSP 10.0 builds here)
