Hey guys
I know its probably been asked a few times before but i just want to make sure i've got the right stuff to upgrade my P600. Heres my circumstances....
1. Un-rooted and would like to remain that way (for now)
2. P600 note 10.1 running MJ6 firmware
3. Living in the UK
Anyway, i've downloaded ODIN v3.09 but im not sure on which region MK1 update would be best to go for? If possible could someone post the link to the one most suited for me (I'm thinking US) and a guide relevant to what i'm doing with this device and update.
Cheers lads,

Hi,
Samsung updates go alphabetically, J, K, L if you follow me. ML1 is the latest, Taiwan region but it's fine. (I'm UK as well using ML1)
Use this guide, there's links as well. Ignore the bit about having root in the first place it's fine just follow the guide in the second post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2618509
In that thread there are mirrors for stock firmware because Samsung ones are very slow.
Hope I helped

Cheers mate, seems simple enough
Will it wipe all data on my tablet? Also alot of people recommend doing a full wipe after the update. Is this a must or is it just like PC's with changing graphics card drivers (Just to start fresh?)

It shouldn't wipe data unless you do it yourself. I've updated myself without wiping but it is best to wipe data to prevent any issues/errors.

Ok, well i've now updated so ill have a play around with it and see how i get on. I'd rather not delete everything but if i get some weird bugs ill do it.
Thanks again mate, you've been a HUGE help!

The easiest, and most straight-forward way that I've found so far - and it worked for me twice (sorted out a friends phone as well as mine), was to follow the instructions found here:
wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_nicki
Granted, this is for specifically loading CM11, but you could easily substitute a different rom.
BTW - the place to unlock the Sony Xperia M bootloader is found here:
developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader - I only mention this as it's referred to in the linked instructions above, but without any link provided.
Hope this helps...
PS. Sorry about not being able to actually post the links, but this is my first post, so I can't yet...
Hi All,
I am new member and this is my first post here. I recently bought this phone and its current MIUI version is JHCMIBF36.0. I have received a notification for updating to version 45, but I am yet to do so. My question is, can I follow the rooting guide mentioned in this link --http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-1s/general/how-to-root-xiaomi-redmi-1s-method-t2874941 -- to root my phone whilst I am on version 36? Or can I root after updating to verion 45? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Go ahead. You can root after or before. Doesn't matter as stated in the op of the thread above.
I rooted it yesterday and my version was 36 too.

Q&A for [Root] CFAutoRoot For SM-T807T/SM-T807P
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.
Before posting, please use the forum search and read through the discussion thread for [Root] CFAutoRoot For SM-T807T/SM-T807P. If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.

So far, no recovery for T807P. I am uploading a T807P firmware now. For the T807T, the T805 Twrp and cwm works fine. Snapdragon people are left out

Ahh. Gotcha. Yeah, I went to the link from the other thread to check out firmware too. But after download I seen it was a very small file (24.7MB) lol. Now I know why. Not fully uploaded yet. Lol. Thanks!
Sucks for recovery. But root right now is better than nothing. I'll root once firmware is complete.

SM-t807t root
I was looking for a root. glad it is finally out there. I dont know what i would do without these roots now that i have them. But i keep seeing TWRP and recovery and flashes. I have no idea what those are or what they entail. Can someone explain a little. Do i need those? If i install them/use them will i lose the root? Or are they recovery systems incase of a brick so i dont gain a 600$ paperweight?

For root, just flash the T805 root. Both are the same and should flash fine since tmobile tab s are the same as T805
Thanks for that !
I think I got it. If I follow the instructions here: techbeasts.com/2014/08/14/how-to-root-samsung-galaxy-tab-s-10-5-t800-t805-and-install-twrp-recovery
& use the 807T file from this site: CF-Auto-Root-chagalllte-chagallltexx-smt805.zip
I should be able to do it.

For what it's worth, since I posted it the other day there has been over 180 downloads, but hardly any feedback, but I suppose no news is good news.
You confused me. Don't worry, confusing me is easy.
Which one looks better ? I've seen quite a few links on this site. Now it seems like the one I posted is better than the one you suggested.

It all depends on your requirements. If you just want root and no custom recovery then flash the unmodified cf-autoroot.
If you want an updated version with an updated and fixed twrp recovery then flash my version.
Also note that the guide you posted does link to outdated software and also makes the install of both root and twrp a 4 step process.
Using my version it's a one step process.
The choice is yours.
I'm stuck
I got to the point where ODIN said it was done, the tablet still says Downloading but Odin said leave cs. Tablet won't respond at all.

Idk then. Leaving cs is usually a connection problem between your pc and tab s. Do other phones flash things fine before?

Does anyone know where to get this version
TWRP Autoinstaller 3.5.2v3.2 ?
I could only find the old one 3.5.2v3.1 and no it's not on TWRP website.
Thanks in advance.

Instead of asking suitable version for your current rom, you asked for a (maybe) not exist one. Then you got the answer: nowhere => no reply.
Actually I'm asking if anyone has seen where to download the one that was used in this guy's video, he said it wasn't available from where he got it and used a different one in the download link. So I'm very skeptical

Lol. He is idiot one and trying to steal other developers work. If you're using Miui 12.5.x, follow this:
If you have Miui 12.0.x, find other video in his video list.
Yeah that's crazy why would someone make a video on how to root your device with software, show it works perfectly and have the download link for different software that wasn't used in the video. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have Miui Global 12.5.5 Begonia variant with Android 11
