Like others, I have gotten some low space notifications even though I show plenty of space on my phone & sd card. I understand this is due to the apps being stored in the internal memory space of the phone - whatever that means.
Uninstalling a large app or a few smalle apps solves this. Clearing caches doesn't seem to.
Is there an app that shows the available space for installing apps?
Will the Froyo OTA solve this? Possibly with apps2sd?
My apologies if this question has been addressed elsewhere - please redirect me.
Thanx!
I'm trying to understand, is there only 358MB of free space for Apps on the EVO? Is that enough? I've read about something called Apps2SD, is that to increase the space if necessary?
Does the app space change with the ROM you have applied?
Thats wayy more than most other android phones, but if you do end up filling it up, you can download Apps2SD. It will allow you to move certain apps to the external memory, freeing up some onboard space.

Thank you sir!
My Droid Incredible says I only have 20mb of space for apps but I have 3gb free of space left on the phone. I also have an SD card with 12gb free of 16gb. Why does it say I only have 20mb free for apps?

Apps don't install to internal storage or sdcard but only a 750MB /data partition. I'm not sure why it'd say 20mb free. What do you have installed? 20MB free, so 730MB used? Do you have a lot of apps installed?
Would dtapps2sd help with this problem? I saw it on the HTC EVO 4G (supersonic) section. Supposed to move apps to sd card.
Anyone know how to increase free storage on internal memory? When I go into TWRP, it says that the internal memory size is only 11GB. Anyone know how to increase this? This is the total available size of the memory, and not the free space :/ By comparison, the micro SD card says 7.7GB and it's an 8GB card. Anyone have thoughts on how to improve this?

11 is what you have available after it's formatted and after Android is installed. You don't get 16 GB out of the box.

Sure... For the tablet, root it and use titanium to remove a bunch of useless crap. It's what you should do regardless.
A standard kitkat ROM is only 200mb. A TW ROM is over a gig, packed. That should tell you what you need to know.
I wish someone would release a true AOSP ROM for the TM-520.Until then, deflating TW and running Nova is as close as I can get.

Does titanium remove TW? I use nova but not rooted yet. I'm not sure what you meant when you said deflate TW.

I love the firesticks, but I have non stop issue is that lack of memory 8GB, that is ate up mostly by the OS. Yes, you can add a usb and format it as internal, but 90% of apps from the amazon store block external install. I always run out of room. I am unlocked and rooted. Just wondering a good app or easy way to format a external and add to internal. Anyone have any thoughts?
Anyone have any idea how to add internal memory? i have not had any luck...
