Very nice bro I'm so happy for the H815 community. I also will release today the actual H811 Full Nougat version based on the Korean system dump and modified modem. A great day for LG G4
Sent from my LG-H811 using Tapatalk
A big thanks and respect to you mate.
Dude, that's awesome! The community will never forget that :highfive:
So how does one unrooted person use this? Is it possible for someone without root to modify the Korean version and use this modem?
@keriox Thank you so much!
As @Velkyrix said, will we be able to get this working on devices that don't have root or custom recovery?
I honestly didnt think you would, thanks a lot, currently downloading it I will update when I flash it.
Any tips on how to run it on the h815p with no root or bootloader thats unlocked
Are they *.img files? Because I cannot see any extension...
How can we flash them?

Yes, but in which partition? Does twrp understand that by itself? Because as I recall, you can only flash on system recovery and boot (?) from twrp....?

I dont think TWRP can detect what file goes where and I cant confirm if TWRP is able to flash system as I am doing a 19gb big backup.
---------- Post added at 21:56 ---------- Previous post was at 21:52 ----------
I am actually having trouble trying to detect what sort of nand dump this is, I cant seem to explore the contents via ext2explore or ext4unpacker (which works fine with img files inside KDZs)
22 Gb backup in progress... just in case lol.
Can anyone confirm how to flash this dump or build a compatible .kdz/.tot file for LGUP ?

I think it's better to wait for someone to create a flashable zip.
I think this is the code to flash modem.img. Got it from updater script.
Could someone try if he has time..?

Here I leave a flashable (MODEM) .zip : https://goo.gl/BxgYqz
I have not tried it (I can't unlock the bootloader), so you tell me if it works for you.
good luck!
From the way it looks like, non bootloader unlocked phones can't use this...
Well that sucks
(There is the possibility of actually modifying a kdz to make it work with that modem, but idk if that's possible)

Howdy everyone!
Here's the latest firmware straight from LGE...
http://downloads.codefi.re/thecubed...IN_LGE980AT-01-V10k-310-410-JUN-07-2013-0.zip
Code:
$ md5sum BIN_LGE980AT-01-V10k-310-410-JUN-07-2013-0.zip
2044d4a4c3159cd0537caefdf1f6ee13 BIN_LGE980AT-01-V10k-310-410-JUN-07-2013-0.zip
It would seem that the zip file doesn't extract with some extractors. I'll re-zip it again here shortly and release a 'fixed' copy.
I have yet to test this file yet, so flash at your own risk!
It does appear that the bootloader is indeed different between the old and new firmware versions, however the difference is just the signature. The actual content of the bootloader's code sections has not changed.
There does indeed appear to be a different (newer?) kernel in the boot.img that's included:
Per the img file header:
Code:
NEW: 0x0066b5c0
OLD: 0x0066a058
Just a heads up in case anyone's wondering.
Also, turning this into a TWRP flashable image is going to be.. interesting.

You flash it like your flashing the stock firmware using LG flash tool and DLL file

I was looking at the features for the value pack. I think I will stick to what I have. I will wait for someone to port 4.2.2 over to this device. My birthday is tomorrow, maybe their will be some good news for me!!!!!

I managed to extract the system.img content using BinExtractor and some extra handling to put the different ??-system.img pieces back together into a 2.5GB partition.

Yeah, I catted them all together with:
Code:
cat *-system.img > system.img
truncate -s +500MB system.img
mount -o loop system.img /mnt/phonesystem
However, strangely enough there's nothing in /bin or /etc ... and I get lots of EXT4 errors in my kernel dmesg.
I believe it's possible that the LGBinExtractor doesn't like this TOT.. I'll extract it manually later today.
I've only compared the bootloader (ABOOT) to make sure nothing has changed, but I've yet to do that for rpm, tz, modem, and the SBL stack.
Once I've figured out what has changed (and what we should change) I'll put it all into an update.zip that we can flash from recovery.

Oh... Well, thanks you.
you sure you tried this ?
i just downloaded RETAILDSDSALL_XT1068_5.0.2_LXB22.46-28_cid7_CFC.xml this has 5 system.img_sparsechunk files and this script only flashes 4 ! would it not cause bootloop
Mirror to the firmware RETAILDSDSALL_XT1068_5.0.2_LXB22.46-28_cid7_CFC.xml : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4wmYm0bnkUAczZOckpBQkhuSms/view?usp=sharing
This is for XT1068 working ,flashed over soaktest. (used manual script)
I think it's obvious that the OP was refering to flashing stock Kit Kat firmware. After all the thread was started a couple of days ago, and the lollipop firmware was uploaded 6-7 hours ago.

Ok, so is the file on file factory? If yes, I have the secret to download that file from file factory.
Download Advanced Download Manager from the Play Store.
Under download settings, change all preferences like in the screenshot.
Then start the download and keep it downloading overnight.( only because that's the time we have the most patience)
Wake up, and you'll have the file downloaded!
Just for make sure, i need to unlock my bootloader and install TWRP recovery?

If we can root and install TWRP is there a guide for debloating? I am already get bored with LG's default application. I want them to be removed.

simply if you want debloat all, using a root explorer delete "preload" directory under /system, and delete directory "carrier" under /system/vendor. At last delete two zip file under /system/media/

These are for the H815 variant only. Files are from software version 10C.
Included below: TWRP-flashable stock rom, boot, modem and bootloader zips. KDZ is also included.
Requirements:
You must have TWRP 2.8.7+ installed to use these files. Thanks to Dees_Troy as always for that. And, of course, you must have your bootloader unlocked for TWRP to work. Please do not ask if "model x" is supported... did you unlock via LG's official unlock tool? Yes? then you can use it. No? then you can't.
*note*
the original KDZ file was named 10B but build.prop shows 10C... therefore I am going with the 10C name for now.

ROM:
LG-H81510C-Flashable.System.Boot.zip
100% stock untouched system/rom and stock boot.img (kernel + dtb + ramdisk).
Not going to upload a rooted image this time... just a waste of space. Easier to just flash stock/untouched rom then flash the SuperSU zip from Chainfire... or just let TWRP root it (when you go to reset to system, if TWRP detects no root it will ask if you want TWRP to root you).
Latest SuperSu zip can always be downloaded here - download.chainfire.eu/supersu
Thanks as always to Chainfire for maintaining SuperSU!
Extras:
TWRP-Flashable stock extras. If you ever need to restore the modem, boot or bootloader.. these are the files that make it easy.
LG-H81510C-Flashable.Modem.zip
This is a flashable stock 10C modem.
LG-H81510C-Flashable.Boot.zip
This is a flashable stock 10C boot.img. Boot.img contains kernel + dtb + ramdisk.
LG-H81510C-Flashable.Bootloader.zip (updated link!)
This is a flashable stock 10C bootloader. It contains aboot, factory, hyp, laf, pmic, raw_resources, rpm, sbl1, sdi, sec and tz.

Enviado desde mi LG-H815 mediante Tapatalk
OK fixed zips are up. Just use the newest 2.8.7 official TWRP and all good to go.
Will get around to making a proper (and safe) bootloader zip at some point today. Not really needed right this second... system/boot/modem should keep y'all entertained for now.
So, with this i can block again the bootloader ?

if by block you mean "re-lock".. then no. it can return you to stock.. but as LG explained on their unlock page... you cannot relock.
Oh, ok thanks....
Thanks.... Very stupid question. Just flash the zip via TWRP. Wipe cache.... And I am updated to B?
Ok thanks. All is ok.
Scroll and tap seems to be really better.
But one question, have we got a changelog for this update?
Thanks @autoprime was easy as pie to install on rooted EU model (NL) so far feels snappy as hell, typing (SwiftKey) goes better than it did, will keep an eye on everything tomorrow!
Thanks @autoprime! Flashed this and it's working perfectly
Hello everybody,
I have one question. For complete convert from 10a to 10c I must flash all zips?
First system, second modem and last step is bootloader flash?
Thank you for answer
Have a nice day for all
Thanks!!!
Work great

Flashing the main zip will do, the other zips are for troubleshooting/problem purposes :good:

Well at first I thought there was a real difference, and maybe SwiftKey is just creating a mess, but feels mostly like before. Switching back to Google Keyboard.

unlocked one ! why ?
V350AWM30e.zip (3.7GB)
I pulled the stock unmodified slot partitions from a fully updated AT&T V35.
I modified them with Magisk and TWRP, and disabled Dm-Verity and ForceEncrypt
I flashed them to another V35AWM that had previously been crossflashed with V350ULM 20f.
Now I stock rooted Android 10 working nicely on my main driver.
I can think of several ways to flash the partitions:
• Using ADB in TWRP (what I did)
• Using ADP from a running rooted system
• One by one with QFIL
The archive includes the unmodified partions, the modified partitions, the packages that I used to modify the partions, some notes, and a script that I used to flash them in TWRP.
If I were doing it again from the start, I would not cross flash, because there are differences in the partition tables. Despite what the guides say, I think that the bootloader can be unlocked from Android 9 or 10, using QFIL. I think that this would work: enable bootloader unlock in developer settings,, flash the engineering bootloader with QFIL, wipe laf, unlock with fastboot, flash the modified boot.img with QFIL, boot into recovery, flash the other partitions from there.
These files are for developers only. You can easily brick your phone and I won't help.
Thank you for this!
amazing
let's hope something useful comes to the end user
Thanks so much for putting this together. Should I anticipate any issues doing TWRP ADB sideload coming from a Korean rom?
Hi! Yesterday I tried to download from the link, but the following error popped up on Mac OS. On Windows, the link just doesn't open. In short, it just can't download...

Could you reporst the download? I just installed windows 11, so maybe that's the issue, but I keep getting "v350awm30e.zip cannot be downloaded securely." and it refuses to even start the download. Any help would be appreciated.
Working fine for me. Try using https instead of http:

Thanks for the fast reply here and in a DM. For anyone new to windows 11 like me, if you try to download from any website that doesn't have that S in it (http vs https), it will not let you download. After a quick google, you can still download from places like this by right-clicking on the download and selecting "keep this".
You can also click on the lock icon in the url bar and then going to permissions and selecting the option to download unsecure content from this website.
Cheers.
Hi everyone. Do you know where can I download a stock ATT firmware for lg v35? Mine is network locked and I have the code to unlock it but I have to be on original firmware. Please help me if you can. Thanks
