Hi guys.
My P2 runs on Nougat with February security patch.
I was just messing around with the activities widget of Nova launcher(free version) . During that I found "Screen off gestures". Even though I enabled them, I could not get them working. Any Ideas to get then working?
These screenshots are self explanatory. You can find the Screen off gestures setting under Widgets -> Activities - > Settings (#171) -> Screen off gestures.

Settings -> Sound -> Notifications -> Apps
I can only see "None" and "Priority". "Sensitivity" is missing. The option to hide sensitive notifications from the lock screen is there though.
Is there a way to toggle the sensitivity for specific apps? Workarounds are welcome too (I'm rooted).

you have to activate some lock screen like knoc code or pattern , then choose in sound->notification->lock screen -> show all .
only then you will see the 3rd option that you are looking for.
Hey guys,
i'm getting this weird bug, when pulling down the quick access or the notification panel by sliding down on alternate launchers (like nova launcher), it just shows really really slowly.
Like if my animations speed were set to 4X in developper options, unless it's not.
Only getting this when sliding from anywhere on the screen with gestures function of the launchers, not from the top of the screen like you would do.
Cheers
Known issue in nova on 6.0. Hopefully apps will get updated soon to support this. I live by gestures!
It's only with the gesture that the status bar does that and it's only on alternate launchers (as u said) like nova is where I've seen it as well. If I set a swipe down gesture to show notifications, and I swipe down in the middle of the screen, that will happen.
Doesn't seem like it would be a 6.0 bug

it s not android bug
it s compatibility of launcher
launcher need to get access from accessibility section in setting + some system permissions (i think)
it s not straight forward function to open notification/status bar with codes since android 5
that might cause this issue

What version are you on? 8.1 / March Security update? Are you on stock rom? Have you confirmed that all Gestures you desire to use are actually enabled. (Settings -> System -> Gestures)
The ones I have listed (on stock, 8.1 / March security update) are as follows:
- Swipe fingerprint for notifications (Will pull down notification shade)
- Jump to Camera (This is double-press of Power button at any time to launch camera)
- Flip Camera (This only works within the camera app)
- Double-tap to check phone (When screen off will bring up Active Display - show clock and any notifications)
- Lift to Check phone (Same as Double-tap above)
Make sure all of those are turned on. I don't know what you are referring to when you say "enter the phone to view it not work ! " - that doesn't correlate to any of the gestures that exist in the stock rom.
Make sure you are testing the gestures as they are intended to be used...the Gestures setting menu has good "videos" to show the proper gestures to make. Good luck.

I'd like to remove the camera icon from my Lineage 15.1 lock screen, as the phone has snapped pictures while carried in my pocket.
I use a pin lock. Security & privacy --> Lock screen preferences has entries for notification content, "add users from lock screen" and "lock screen message," but nothing for lock screen shortcuts.
The lock screen itself has a lock icon at bottom center, between the microphone and camera icons, but pressing this lock icon doesn't disable the camera, at least as far as I can tell.
The phone is an HTC OnePlus 5T 'dumpling'

I don't have this device but, your best bet is to post this question within the following Official LineageOS thread that's specific to your device.

Good Luck!

It's not device specific. Lock screen shortcuts are in settings, security, gear icon. @Ibuprophen
Thanks for the responses, ibuprophen and kurtn.
I'm afraid I'm still scratching my head on this one. Settings --> Security & privacy --> Gear icon next to "Screen lock PIN" gives me more settings choices, but none related to removing the camera icon.

There's a Substratum theme called Lockclean that will do what you want, among various other apps.
it would have been amazing if we could change the fingerprint unlock animation on our Samsung galaxy note 10+
But unfortunately I tried searching everywhere for it on the internet but didn't found any method of changing the animation
Does anybody here knows???
On my Note 10+ it is in:
Settings > Biometrics & Security > Biometrics preferences > Screen Transition effect
Toggle it OFF (to the left)

I think he is asking about changing the animation and not how to turn it off.
