Made this from the new 80220D open EUR kdz.
This is the complete LG KK 20D ROM - nothing missing or messed with.
If you follow the method below exactly, no Audio glitches, no Touchscreen problems.
You can flash SuperSU and get root if you wish - your choice.
I provide this assuming you have an understanding of the terminology used below and appreciate that any flashing activity has some risk.
I strongly advise against using any form of restore from previous backups, such as TB or Nandroid.
Once the process is complete, custom recovery will be lost.
Method:
Download both the ROM zip file linked below and SuperSU zip file (if you want root) and copy to your SD card.
You need to be already on Rooted JB or PURE CM11 with either TWRP 2.6.3.3 or 2.6.3.4 or TWRP 2.7.0.0 (nothing else).
Reboot to TWRP recovery
Wipe: System, Data, Cache. Dalvik (nothing else)
Flash the ROM zip - ignore any "FAIL" warnings.
Wipe Cache and Dalvik (nothing else)
Go to the Mount page in TWRP and select System (leave the other defaults alone)
Flash the SuperSU zip - ignore any "FAIL" warnings
Reboot
Done
Don't use AutoRec to flash TWRP - you will lose Knock code.
Alternatively - if you have flashed TWRP on another KK Stock ROM (using AutoRec), you can full wipe (not SDCard) and flash this directly without going back to JB.

You can simply flash this kernel that support knock code, after you got TWRP with autorec.

Hmmm....is that based entirely on the same KK kernel I include though?
This ROM is PURE STOCK as I state in the OP, for those who want that PURE STOCK experience.
so im kk based 20A, rooted and TWRP using Auto Rec. If i intall this via TWRP will i lose TWRP after install??
Will this delte my recovery and put back stock recovery??
TIA
I think that after twrp install from autorec, if you install the kernel of this rom again, you will have knock code again. I will try and let you know soon . Thanks for this rom.
Can someone provide zippyshare link for example? I'm getting crapy download speed from Google drive. I'm downloading using hsdpa unfortunately, because I don't have an access to WiFi right now.

Install without wiping data
Hi.
I have the 80220C from LenAsh.
I would like to have the new version 80220D, but without the hasle of installing and configuring all my apps again.
Should it not be sufficient to just wipe system and dalvik? No need to wipe data right?
I'd wipe data too. You can use an app like Rom Toolbox for examples to backup your downloaded apps. Then reinstall it after flashing this ROM and Root. Then just restore whatever apps you want back. You can choose from Restoring; App Only, App + Data, Data Only. Pretty handy if you ask me. That's what I did and no problems restoring data so far :good:
And a big thanks to @LenAsh for providing this zip. Knock Code works wonders and I like the stock experience, no need for custom recovery here.

Just my opinion, I think this rom should be a recommended way or just an alternative for people who came from stock jb with custom recovery installed.
Since ota was impossible for them & kdz/tot methods not as easy (at least for me compared to odin/heimdall for samsung) to use. Install this rom + super su, then go to autorec thread before installing any kk based custom roms much saver than only installing baseband alone.
With this rom, imo all partitions will updated to kk, while installing baseband will left more partitions stay left with jb stuffs
At the moment I'm using Slimkat with the sources from 4.4.2, If I want to go Stock again I can flash this?
I ask because in the first post it says only pure CM11 or rooted JB and I think I have to send my G2 to warranty....
Thanks
Can I flash this over OptimusPro Rom V4.4 to make it stock without root. I have to take it to repair, without to woid my waranty.
I have d802.
Thanks

Afaik, you should flash the rom from your own region
As I mentioned before, seems this method will be an easier way than kdz/tot if we already on custom rom & recovery
It will be great if there's another regions to choose ?

I have created a stock, flashable zip of the latest OTA. This is UNROOTED, but can be easily rooted using the SuperSU Flashable zip found HERE! This will not update your modem or bootloader. This is simply the updated boot.img and system.img. I will add more to this and clean it up when I have more time.
Download:
D85110R.zip
Here is a flashable zip for the 10R modem. - Thanks to @graig79 for the update.zip and @autoprime for the modem.img
If you would like to update to the additional 10R Bootloader/Firmware here is a flashable zip courtesy of @autoprime. This is not a locked bootloader and is safe to flash. This will flash aboot.img, dbi.img, factory.img, laf.img, rpm.img, sbl1.img, and tz.img from the 10R release.
Installation Instructions:
Clean install:
Wipe Data/System/Cache/Dalvik in either TWRP or Philz
Flash Rom
Reboot
Dirty install from 10M or 10C Stock Roms (Installing this over other custom roms may cause issues)
Wipe Cache/Dalvik in either TWRP or Philz
Flash Rom
Reboot
Standard Disclaimer: I am not responsible if this blows up your phone or sdcard. You should know what you are doing or read up before flashing. I have installed this myself without issue. If you have issues, read up and search before saying there is a problem with the rom.
Credits:
@zone23 for the updater-script
LG for the update
@autoprime for the boot.img
Thanks bud!!! Have you run across a legit changelog for this update (beyond what tmo is willingly telling us)???
This is what tmo posted for anyone interested...
New features
T-Mobile Free Inflight Texting support
Improvements
Bluetooth connectivity improvements
Wi-Fi connectivity improvements
UI improvements for T-Mobile Free Inflight Texting suport
Thanks for the upload doc
So I have a rooted version that has been deodexed, added a few tweaks, debloated, init.d support, updated all core apps, and added busybox. I will test it today and if all goes well, I will upload. When I say debloated, I mean like 958mb. Thing should run like a champ.
That would be awesome!!
Has anyone been able to take this update via OTA or using the LG PC Suite software?? I tried using the PC Suite software and am getting this error "Cannot Proceed Upgrade: Mobile device software upgrade is blocking on no upgrade policy". This is even on a brand new phone that I just got from the T-Mobile store today!!
Thank you for this. I dirty flashed the update, modem and supersu and all went well. Not that I want it but is the 10r bootloader locked?

Couldnt tell you what you did wrong. This is just a flashable stock rom so there should not be anything else that you need to do. I would start with checking the md5 on your downloads to make sure you did not get a bad download of either file.

I am curious aswell but from what the OP/common logic(not trying to be sarcastic/mean) states
It should allow you to flash the both because rthe boot loader is alrrady unlocked(may overwrite your twrp but installing that is pretty simple) and the modem doesn't even handle that part if the software, I'm flashing all of them now so I'll post if anything happens
EDIT: it kept TWRP but the zips need to be flashed in the order of:
MODEM
BOOTLOADER
ROM
the bootloader fails if it it has the incorrect MODEM underneath it
also i got a boot loop on the rom
EDIT2: its been so long since i flashed a rom, i forgot you needed to wipe data lol

This does not touch the recovery partition so twrp will not be touched. Since this bootloader is still unlocked, there is no harm in flashing. Especially if you are running 10r modem/ROM. Won't hurt if you are running aosp either.

dirty flashing D85110R.zip over stock 10m experiences
Thanks for the post and files krowley3!
I was considering a dirty flash of D85110R.zip over my rooted Stock "m" build as I see that the OP has instructions for doing so...
From OP:
Dirty install from 10M or 10C Stock Roms (Installing this over other custom roms may cause issues)
Wipe Cache/Dalvik in either TWRP or Philz
Flash Rom
Reboot
I was just looking for some feedback from any members who have dirty flashed the D85110R.zip?
TIA
I have all 3 zips in the OP, plus the SuperSU zip. is there any order i need to do this in? I have rooted 10m, so i was just gonna wipe dalvik and cache and install the zips. Should i reboot after each zip? Thanks
I tried to update to lollipop and root it but to of no avail. I tried to read many blogs and F*pieces but can not get any thing good. I am using KitKiat 4.4.4 14.A.0.157 rooted. I want to download the latest lollipop version and root it with Custom recovery. I do not want any messed with custom lollipops as i do not trust other people easily. If there is some smooth tool method to simply click and run root method , kindly share with me. If it is not possible and the only way to get a rooted lollipop is by using custom messed up lollipop ftf then paste it here in great simple details I am ready to follow this method. My Z1c is LB and on rooted .108 firmware. After flash preerooted Lollipop the SuperSu app gives my Apps rootaccess, but the apps mean no root viable. (TitaniumBackup or SD-Maid)

If for some reason the "downloaded prerooted" method does not work, whatever went wrong will probably also prevent your selfmade zip from working. So I'd try to get the downloaded one to work before trying a homegrown one.

Above said is step-by-step to get flashable zip file only. Install it on your phone as follows:
1. Downgrade to KitKat (4.4.2 is recommended because it can be rooted directly)
2. Install Custom Recovery (Philz Touch is recommendable because I have boot loop with TWRP)
you cap bypass these step if already have Custom Recovery
3. Copy flashable zip file to SD Card
4. Reboot your phone to Recovery mode and wipe you phone (wipe for clean installation is recommended) or format system. DO NOT REBOOT after that.
5. Install flashable zip file from SD Card then powever off your phone
6. Using FlashTool to flash your phone with TFT file EXCLUDE SYSTEM

Hi can you be more specific on what to wipe at philz touch because there are lots to wipe options in the philz recovery, do i have to wipe all? also from twrp's recovery so please be specific what to wipe because im afraid to wipe all that doesnt have to be wiped,
also after installing flashable zip in the recovery turning off the phone isn't an option there is only restart button there so is it alright to reboot phone after installing flashable zip in recovery then just turn it off after and continue to using flashtool?
and last one, at using flashtool ist it the stock firmware that i need to flash? is it alright to exclude all? or do i have to check the wipes there and also the kernels below excluding system only? thanks

Hi, I tried this multiple times, im rooted 4.4.4 then installed dual recovery then from one of those recovery then i installed "flashsable.zip" after installing flashable zip which is in "step 5" you mentioned turning off phone, do i really need to do the "step 6"? because i notice something in step 5 since after installing the flashable zip thru recovery there is no turn off option so i choose to reboot then i noticed i started my phone with lollipop installed and superSU installed, but i still did whats in your procedure which makes things complicated since i thought if i didnt continue to the whole process maybe something might go wrong , so i turned off my phone and continued to step 6, i flashed my phone using the stock firmware of lollipop then what happened is the superSU is gone.
so my main point is do i really have to continue to step 6?? or even just up to step 5 is fine?
if continuing to step 6 is important please be more specific thanks

You have to do Step 6 just in case flashable zip file contain SYSTEM ONLY (include Options were not checked when using PRFCreator).
In Step 6, flash your phone with FTF file EXCLUDE SYSTEM. That mean you need to check on System Option within the box of Exclude.
Folks, we already have a thread covering EXACTLY this question - was it really necessary to open a new one to ask all questions over and over again?

THanks buddy. I got my lollipop rooted and working. But there is one thing itching me about lollipop. Even though the camera result looks great in this new OS, but the OS new design theme looks sluggish. I do not feel it is working like it should. I mean a very bad version from SONY. KitKat theme was way more simpler and lighter than this lollipop ****piece. Besides cleanmaster keeps telling me the RAM USAGE around 68%-70% all the time:silly:, even though I applied the same precautions I had on kitkat installation. Kitkat used to run on 70% in heavy usage, otherwise it would run lighter around 46% RAM.
Summing up. Lollipop Version for SONY PHONES, SUCKS
Is it possible to obtain a flashable zip for the stock 7.1.1 ROM?
I'm running PureNexus as my primary ROM, but I would like to be able to flash the stock ROM as secondary ROM in multirom TWRP.
I guess it is possible. I wish someone will make it. lol. We only have debloated stock rom flashable via twrp as of now.

If you use the flash-all batch file to flash the factory image just go into the batch file and delete the -w paramater. Alternately you can flash each partition separately with fastboot.
To maintain twrp don't flash the recovery image. With any of this you'll have to root again.

eg. https://dl.google.com/dl/android/aosp/bullhead-ota-opm4.171019.016.a1-510a2077.zip
(NB. This will probably replace your recovery with the stock one on the first boot after upgrading.)
Does anyone know how I can create a ZIP from the rom stock preferably without having root? I have the XT1676 model in hand and the factory rom is installed on it. On the internet there is not a ZIP from stock for this model so I would like to create it so that I can make it available to those who need it

Click to collapse
Think of these roms more as a custom rom without any modifications - you would still need an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery to flash it
Use adb to pull the system folder
Create the flashable zip - There are plenty of guides
