I wanted to comment on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2735565&page=75 but I don't have enough posts/permissions so I'm starting a quick thread to let the CM 11 developers know that the mic (for phone calls) is working on cm-11-20140814-NIGHTLY (yay!)
Also, it seems the WiFi is stronger/consistent but I'll need a few days to see if I still get the disconnects that I've had for the past week.
Update: after the first call, phone microphone no longer works (sigh...
Since dhacker29 has abandoned CM 11 (see twitter.com/dhacker29/status/492840260481859585), I ended up switching to Gummy (loki.rombitch.com/Devs/Gummy/moto_msm8960/NIGHTLY/) (which he still supports)
And how is mic and WiFi on Gummy? I'm going to install it when I repair my phone.

August 23, 2014 builds and later have the speakerphone fix: twitter.com/dhacker29/status/503044191392649217
WiFi bug fix was also apparently rolled into the Aug 23+ nightlies: github.com/CyanogenMod/android_kernel_motorola_msm8960dt-common/commit/13df898776edb42ac77c5cdb1aeade4d01434954
Sigh... WiFi still broken on Gummy and CM 11 nightly: twitter.com/emmons_az/status/505830673278832641
Argh... and now no GPS at all
...time to switch back to CM 11 since at least it has Privacy Guard and seems to be keeping pace with Razr M fixes
It appears Motorola devices require you to run GPS at least once on stock before installing a custom ROM in order to "unlock" GPS: forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54608635&postcount=3789
What a lame "feature". I'll try that and see if I get my GPS back.
Okay, so GPS now works thanks to the "unlock" step mentioned above.
WiFi still stuck on the dreaded "Obtaining IP Address" bug:

Still no luck and running out of options so I'm going to downgrade from KitKat to JellyBean and install the JellyBean bootloader version of CM 11: download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=moto_msm8960_jbbl&type=nightly
I was able to downgrade to the Jelly Bean bootloader and then install the latest CM 11 _jbbl nightly using this guide: mrbluecoat.blogspot.com/2014/07/tutorial-installing-cyanogenmod-on.html
So far so good. WiFi picks up my wireless network (without having to use the static IP address workaround needed with the KitKat bootloader: blog.chaucery.com/2012/05/fix-for-obtaining-ip-address-android.html). GPS is also working now that I know to enable GPS on the stock ROM before flashing.
...fingers crossed :silly:

JB BL CM11 doesn't need that GPS "unlocking" step - mine grabbed a GPS fix in 3 seconds right after flashing CM11 (that's right, I can't even believe it myself).

FYI, my GPS works fine on Navigator, RunKeeper, GPS Test, etc. but on Google Maps I get a giant blue circle indicating my coarse accuracy isn't locking onto my position. I'm running the latest CM 11 nightly on Motorola Razr M. Thoughts?
I have installed AICP Rom on my D855 and have found the following issues. Anyone else notice this if so how can I fix it.
- does not save my WiFi connections, has no option to save connection either Its annoying putting the password in all the time
- My signal strength is terrible. I can get service in my house anymore. Happened straight after changing ROM.
I am running stable release version on AICP 10.0 has this been fixed in any nightlies?
Should I use a different ROM. Tell me if you have had the same experience.

please help me can't use nougat as daily driver
sorry for my bad English

i have the same issue with with cm 14 but not in op3 nougat beta rom
I had the same issue in every cm14 build, but haven't seen a single drop since switching to oxygen beta 8.

I just noticed that the LineageOS just released their first t0lte nightly build (dated 2017-03-31 10:30:24). I came here to find people who have tried it out, but things seem pretty quiet here. I have not tried it out yet, but in the past I've seen other attempts at Note II Android 7.x roms have cell/data issues. I'm going to try this soon, but if someone beats me to it, let me know what you find.
Did you try this yet?
Tried this out and still using it. Working great so far. Definitely worth trying
I'm using it as everyday use, it's very good
How is the cell/data signal with this rom? I haven't found a rom yet that provides good 4g lte signal.
Does it work with the tmobile note II (t0ltetmo)?:
Yes it works o t mobile. I tested it for phone calls, mms, gps and blue tooth Connection. Only issue I had was mms I send the phone a picture and it was stuck o downloading. Well the fix was to switch APN then reboot and then I think k it's switched backon its own. So mms is working now. I have not had any issues apart from that. So yes you should try it. Good luck.
Thanks for making this for such and old device.
I tried this out looks working..before i install the open gapps file.. after installation of open gapps file, phone keeps restarting by it self. I install open_gapps-arm-7.1-stock-20181209.zip.
Which Gapps file you guys are using?
Redo installation everything is working except for making and receiving calls. Data working. Front camera blur. back camera working.
Hi
There is a bug in Oreo beta 2 and 3 that the tethering doesn't work correctly and shows no internet connection. Has this been fixed in the stable 5.0.2?
I just tried it and indeed it did not seem to work properly.
I've been using all of the three betas and both USB and wifi tethering works. I rely solely on my mobile as my internet connection. I think this is region and operator based issue with Oneplus oreo roms. It seems to be a common problem for some and for others it has worked all along.

Hi there
Did you, at any point, have two SIM cards at the same time in this phone?
Try doing that with ADB:
Code:
adb shell
settings put global tether_dun_required 0
hello, it's a bug beta rom me either it did not work by making a flash clean, ironing on stable rom 5.0.3 and everything works
sorry for my bad English
