H815 TWN Charging, reboot and USB connect problems - G4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, a week ago my phone H815 TWN started to act very strange.
Symptoms are:
1. Charging very slow and when unplugged still shows charging sign. (Fixed when remove battery but reoccurs when charging again)
2. On power off the phone reboots does not power off.
3. When battery is removed and placed back the phone boots without pressing any buttons.
4. When connected to PC via USB and then disconnected the USB connect manager notification remains active. (The phone is recognized from the PC)
Things I tried to fix the problem (unsuccessfully)
1. Cleaning the USB charging port
2. Hard and soft reset the phone.
3. Took the battery out for more than 10 min
I suspect that it is a hardware problem, as next step I am thinking to flash the firmware.
Does anyone experienced the same problems or has any idea what might be wrong?

[Q] Possibly hard bricked T-mobile SGS 2

Hi everyone!
I have a bricked SGS2 from t-mobile. I can't tell exactly what has been flashed to it before, because it wasn't done by me. After flashing a rom it's bricked.
At the moment I can't get it into download mode or turn it on. The screen is black.
Things I've tried and they didn't work:
1. Charge the battery in case it's disscharged. (the phone is charging the battery, but there are no indication lights)
2. Remove battery>press vol up and vol down>insert usb cable.
3. I bought a usb jig and it also doesn't work. ( I followed all instruction how to get it work)
4. When I connect the phone to the PC (with battery or without it) the PC offers me to format the drive I inserted, and every 5 seconds the phone drive gets disconected and connected again after each time windows offers me to format the drive.
5. When I press the power button- nothing happens.
Anyone could help me? Has anyone sorted this kind of problems?

[Q] reboot stuck in a cycle unless usb cable is plugged in

I was using Cyanogenmod 10.1.3 for few months just fine but few days back it started doing random reboots. The reboot doesn't complete at all and goes in cycles until I connect a USB cable attached to PC or wall socket. It just boots fine with USB cable connected. Once fully booted, I can disconnect the USB cable and everything is fine (until there is another random reboot or I choose to reboot)
I went back to stock (4.1.2), and it has the same exact issues. A random reboot can take few hours to a day. Is it possible that my battery is acting? Does boot process require more juice at some point that the battery is unable to supply? Appreciate any help.

The problem seems to be none other than your power button getting stuck. This is a very common problem with SGH-T989/D phones. Please follow the steps in the following link to get your phone working properly once again.

Z1C Overheating - unable to boot / charge

Hi guys,
I have been "gifted" by broken Xperia Z1C and I'm trying to fix it.
The issue is that when I try to power on, it's trying to boot, but it will turn off during blue animation, not sure if it's boot logo. However, when I try to charge the phone, it will show
"Your device turned off due to overheating. Charging will continue after the device has cooled down." and as you supposed, it will never happened.
I have tried:
- hard reset by volup + power button
- reset with red button near sim card
- xperia companion repair - result: successfully repaired, but nothing happend to device
- flashing older firmware D5503_14.5.A.0.270_Generic BAL.ftf using Flashtool - successfully but nothing happened
- some magic commands with fastboot.exe, nothing happened
Then I have tried to change battery from another Z1C, device is not responding on power on button (just 3 times red led blinks after charger connected) . Then I have put back the original battery to broken device, same overheating issue.
Now I think it's hardware issue, or do you have any ideas? Why another battery don't works?
Thanks

Phone can't connect to pc, bricked

Hi users, recently I wanted to go back form miui pie to oreo using this thread : https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-5-pro/help/how-to-revert-miui-10-pie-to-miui-10-t3940244
I had some problems with flashing, phone got disconnected from pc during fastboot flashing (loose cable) and after reconnecting I couldn't flash anything so I restarted the phone. Now all I've got is black screen (the backlight works but I can't see anything) I can restart the phone when holding power button and doing the combination of power up and vol+, but it's the same. If I connect the phone to pc in this conditon nothing happens, I can't hear any sound indicating that phone is connected, nothing in device manager, I even disconnected the battery and tried the edl pins but it's the same result, pretty weird. Can anyone give me any hint?

Yeah, but the point is, you can connect to pc and flash things and I can't do anything, I suspect my computer fried usb board or something on the motherboard bc it's impossible I can't get qualcomm hs-usb loader 9008.
As it turns out, after rebooting the pc, it doesn't boot anymore. Phone doesn't work and pc. Coincidence? formatting pc was needed (pc works now), could it be a virus or my power supply simply gave too much voltage to the usb? I was doing everything during the storm, y'know, thunders.. I don't know anymore, I tried even connecting to a different pc and the result is the same. I can't do anything on my phone, could it be broken usb board?
EDIT: It connects now in edl, I was shorting the pins incorrectly (can't touch the ground [shielding] while shorting the pins). Pls close this thread.

LG M320n (X Power 2)

Hi.
Phone completely dead after software downgrade.
It does not even display charging after connecting it to a computer or charger.
However, if I connect the phone to the computer, it can be heard that the device is detected and after a while removed and so it loops endlessly.
I have tried several flashing programs before but none is able to detect the phone.
The phone's S / W is: 801CQNL238447
The phone is not the primary phone, but it would be nice to get it fixed.
