I need help about converting my ZE551ML firmware WW to CN. I moved to China and made a factory reset. It didn't work because it tried to connect to Google play right after completed the factory reset. I need to download CN version firmware and change it from WW to CN. My current version WW_Z00A 6.0.1 4.21.40.134 please help me.

Please I need your help.
A friend of mien purchased the zenfone 2 at B&h 16GB versions. IT says "US".
It bring me the phone, bu it remains stuck on the booting screen, I've managed to upload the official WW_ FW with ADB sideload.
Now the 3g nor SMS does not work, I can not create new APN with the needed parameters, it is not saved and it disappears after it is created.
I guess it is a modem FW issue and I need to reflash the US_ sku intead the WW_ sku, but i can not find the US_ FW nowhere.....
Any help will be great !!

Hi all - I've recently brought an Asus ZenFone 2 and want to upgrade it to MM so that I can use the root, unlock bootloader and install a custom rom on it using the tools in the development page.
However I am wary of updating the phone as the sellers website had this message:
Most of phones are supposed to sell in China (China version), such as ZTE, Letv, Asus, Oneplus.
1. About sealed original packing and firmware, We need to open the original box to check the phone and install the Multi-language and Google Play Store, Multi-language ROM not support OTA
2. Buyer can not restore to factory or root with other version firmware, which may cause date loss or dead of phone.
The firmware version is WW and recovery is also WW. When entering fastboot mode, the bootloader version is unknown and signing and secure_boot have a ? next to them. I am worried that upgrading it may brick the phone.
Is there a way I can update to MM? I may be worrying irrationally.

The original Motherboard got corrupted so i installed a new motherboard Ordered it from China / AliExpress.
As soon as I installed the new MotherBoard everything works fine. /

It was with Custom Firmware / CHINA Official . but device Status was Custom, I did not try to load Chrome/ GoogleFrameWorkServices APK. On this firmware which came with the mother board, but i did see some info about that.
The issue is they ship with China Firmware
I need STOCK INU firmware on this. Or any English firmware.
I download the N5100 INU Firmware I allso tried ODIN
I also tried SmartSwitch
I also tried Kies UPDATE / Initialization nothing has been working.
ODIN gives "failed to write / complete error"
SmartSwitch unable to connect unsupported device
Kies same error
I also tried to update/ initialize but the issue is after download 2 or 3 hour of Firmware it goes to 0% and says "failed to update" try to use recovery mode from abother compbuter and ask for recovery CODE.
I know i am missing some thing very small.
I checked the Device is not ROOTED
I see ODIN mode
Binary: Samsung Official
Device Status Custom
Custom Binary Download: NO
Maybe it is locked or something.

2nd issue
When smart Switch Ask for model and serial
I had 2 or 3 times put the Indian MotherBoard Serial Number
And it had Failed.
Now i am trying to Do this with China MotherBoard Serial Number.
If this time it succeeds i will be happy to inform you.
But this will still only load the Official China FirmWARE for CSC CHN
Anyways After this Maybe i will try ODIN
Since once it will have china official firmware
then it will have India ODN firmware via ODIN
But I could also go into a bad State here..
If the china guys sent me the motherboard with custom firmware which will support all india sim cards and etc. And now if i complete this official china firmware. I might get locked out !!
Dam i dont know what will happen and how i will solve this.
The ONLY solution someone has suggested who bought this same mother board and did it.
Said that " you need to make IMG of the original Country Firmware built into the Odin file and you also need all the files BL / CSC / PD etc.

UPDATE:
Ok entering the China MotherBoard Serial Number smartSwitch installed the original China firmware back.
And now the Device status became
Official too.
That's 1 step ahead or backward idk.
So now I need to install India firmware via ODIN.
I assume if i use SmartSwitch and put Indian motherboard serial and after 2 or 3 hours of download it will not upgrade since it will try to match the serial number.
Anyways I just tired ODIN and it does not work. Same error
Complete (write) operation failed.
Any help please

I can load INU INDIA firmware ?
I dont know what is the CLASH
Where is the CLASH and CONFLICT hapening for ODIN not working

I have an unlocked version from Bouygues telecom France that I flashed with Custom 21.290.23.00.00 firmware by ValdikSS. I want to get it back to an official international firmware and make sure all installed apps will also be erased. I re flashed it with the custom firmware, but the online partition /online/opt with all software I installed remain intact and was not deleted.
What I want to do in one word is getting it back to it's original state
