I recently tried to change the homepage for my IE on wm6 based on a thread in this forum and now when i click on the IE icon i get Cant find 'iexplore' (or one of its components)...
Does anyone know how to help me to get my IE working again

In the many "unofficial" ROM upgrades, I have found all of them have the problem of not being able to search contacts by the letter Z. Has anyone found a fix for this?

That is true for all of them except the Rogers ROM. AFAIK there is no fix, and it is a common complaint.

i have updated my htc touch rom to version 2.22...and i wish i can undo this step!
Q:can i rollback my firmware to version 1.11.... cause i missed some good features not available in this new upgrade.the hard reset didn't work i already tried it.
the black bar that spells words while typing is completely annoying...i'm not being able to disable it forever and i'm hating the device because of it. Plz help!
another missing feature in this upgrade, while i used to start typing the sms recipient name in the To: field in SMS\MMS , an automatic list of matching contacts used to appear and i select the desired name directly... I lost this feature too.
Your help is much appreciated. Plz keep me posted before i destroy my htc

Your rom is awesome. Start up fast and running application also very fast. Keep up the good work .
Had this little problem and do not know others facing the same problem. In SMS when we locked certain msg, and we want to delete the locked message. The whole thread being delete off.
Would appreciate advice on what is the possible cause.

please allow me to bring to you a problem thta is very very stressful.
I have a SM-N976B Note 10+5G, used in 4G/3G network and in 99% of the situation when an incoming call is on the screen, if I respond quick to the call the result is that the call is not established, and the phone is kind of freezing.
I need for almost every call to let the incoming call ring for more then 10 seconds and answer only after this time.
I done several updates and look on the internet for any solution to solve this annoing issue but without result.
Kindly help with any suggestion

In order to anyone here to help you in any meaningful way, would be necessary that you provide the devices status/config.
- Is it rooted?
- Which ROM/Firmware?
- Did you already tried updating with a stock firmware that matches your region/country/provider exactly?
- Mods applied?

-it has stock firmware for EMEA/Romania
- updated to the last firmware original OTA
-no mods, launchers, etc applied
- atttached snaps from phone

From your screenshots I couldn't exactly pinpoint the firmware you've flashed because, as you can see on the link below, there is 2 different N976BXXU6DTH7. They differ by the CSC versions (N976BXXU6DTH7, N976BOXM6DTI2) despite having the same exact build date.

Your baseband version is DTH5 which relates to the initial issue but unfortunately sammobile does not expose the baseband version of neither.
What I may suggest is that:
1st) try the DTH7 one of the above that you are not currently in.
2sd) if still doesn't solve the issue, try an older one with a different baseband.
I can see that the firmwares are only available to fast downloads @ sammobile so I shall suggest using Samfirm to help you on this and, consequently, flash them through ODIN.

i had made some reasearch on this issue and the onclusion was that the firmwares that the phone has are the original and recommended ones.
further I made some teste:
I close all applications on the phone and test receiving calls: answering very quickly works like a charm.
opening various applications like facebook, whattasp, etc and test receiving calls: answering very quickly is not working
so I should conclude that is not a problem of radio modem, but something related to running applications
